The location is excellent if you are visiting the Cologne fair; Otherwise it's in the middle of nowhere, but with good transportation or access to the center.

I booked this hotel in order to visit an international fair that was cancelled due to the Corona Virus. I was very disappointed that the hotel's management did not grant some kind of refund due to the situation. I was not expecting a full refund, since I understand that such an act could cause a great financial damage to the hotel, when in large numbers of cancellations but, a certain act of consideration (for example : 20%-30% refund, thus sharing the losses in unequal parts in favor of the hotel) could grant a great appreciation for the hotel and it's management. This will be remembered the next time I need a booking for a fair in Cologne. I stayed at the hotel since I managed to keep some pre-scheduled appointments, which I would had happily canceled if I could cancel the hotel reservation. I asked to be allowed to switch to another hotel in the chain, just in order not to be without a purpose in this deserted area, but was given all sorts of explanations why it's not possible and the issue must be checked, etc. etc.

I wish it had a bigger parking. I wish the bathroom had more facilities. I wish the room was more humid.
