Great food with gratuitous ghosts...
Conway is a small village anchored to the water by a huge castle (King Edward I, 1272) with walls extending all the way around the village. The Castle Hotel is in the center of the village and it is the perfect location to walk the town and learn some of the haunting stories from the past. The hotel has had many sitings as has the Castle and the Plas Mawr , a Tudor Renaissance house from the 16th century. The Castle Hotel also has the best food in town. Sitting by the fire in the pub and downing a pint or two is heaven. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful.
When you a stay at The Castle Hotel in Conwy, you'll be on the riverwalk, within a 5-minute walk of Conwy Town Walls and Conwy Castle. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
