I liked the comfortable bed, adequate customer service, and dining options. The view was pretty nice as well.
I did not like the stained comforter, nor the distance from the airport. A large, white comforter made it easy to spot any type and size of stain. My comforter had a few small stains, nothing noticeable at first, but after laying on it I noticed a few blood stains. I was enough for me to question the cleanliness of the entire room.
The room was very nice and clean. The pool facility was nice which also has a gym. The staff was very nice and attentive.
The pool was freezing cold. I think they had the a/c blasted.
Staff were very friendly & hotel had almost all of the amenities we wanted (minus a hot tub). Location was good & price was very reasonable.
Room could have been a little bit cleaner (a few hairs in the shower area) & the ice machine near our room was very loud.
Free parks big, children under 5 eat breakfast for free, friendly staff, I will return with my family.
More counter space needed in rooms.
I accidently booked on the wrong date, and was una
additionally, on the day that I did stay there was a power outage, which meant I had a cold shower in the dark. The hotel did not offer anything for my shocking experience.
Great Value for the Price
We stayed here on short notice for a weekend getaway to Pittsburgh. Overall the room was great and the entire process was incredibly smooth.
Although the room seemed very clean, finding a previous guest's socks under the bed made me wonder how closely the room is actually checked between guests. It was also a little bit pricey for the location (being a decent drive from downtown), but this was probably in large part due to us booking the room on the morning of our stay.
Front desk staff was very courteous. Place was clean.
I was with my husband and two little children. beds are too small (double?) for family with children. (no queen beds in the hotel I was told. When I asked for a cot I was told I have to pay extra for a cot $20/day. Price per night was a bit high to begin with for the area (not being around town). I have stayed in Marriott several times at different cities. Marriott used to say, they won't allow cots in a room with two beds for fire safety. But now, at least on this Marriott we stayed, they would allow but you have to pay for it. ( disappointing). Parking was somewhat difficult.
The staff went above and beyond to make sure stay was excellent. The chef at breakfast was from Jamaica. He was very friendly and enjoyed his job. The bar tender (Brian) also enjoyed his job. He took care of us, but wasn't pushy. He also juggled a large amount of people from a wedding while taking care of us.
