The room, Chestnut which had a four poster, was stunning and the surrounding woodland made this hotel ideal for a romantic getaway.

Very rural and away from the clutter of towns & populated area. Countryside beautiful with various walks to woodlands etc. Fairly close to the Norfolk coastline and good for touring the coastal villages.
Wasn't impressed with the food quality served up in the restaurant during the evening. Very bland and deterred us from eating there on second & third evening. Breakfast was excellent, good variety and selection accompanied with good service. Shower in bathroom had a poor flow. All these comments were passed on to the staff at Felbrigg on our departure. We thought we booked the four poster Chestnut suite for 3 days but we were given an alternative room without the four poster!

This is not a complaint,however, I did feel for the class of the place the reception was very Heath Robinson, untidy, not a good impression,concidering the rest of the establishment is superb.

Very peaceful area and charming suite with a log stove made it a weekend to remember. We got upgraded from the chestnut suite, which was a bit unfortunate because we had wanted the four poster bed- but the suite we stayed in was very nice.
Access road could do with levelling- mind you i do drive a sports car so felt every bump!
