4.2 Okay
Pros: The driver that picked me up at Guayaquil airport was extremely educated and well informed. The receptionist gave me good tips for visiting the city.
Cons: The driver came to pick me up 2 hours later from the airport because the property didnt read my email on time. In addition, the staff that attended me at the restaurant during breakfast was disrespectful and didnt served me the wrong breakfast.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It’s in the heart of Cuenca, the hotel is beautiful and the staff makes you feel like home.
Cons: The beds weren’t that comfortable for the price you pay. The food wasn’t that good either, they don’t have 24 hrs room service. I reached 7pm very hungry and there was only sandwiches on the menu.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The photos online did not do this hotel justice. It was even more beautiful in real life! The staff were very welcoming and helpful - definitely exceeded our expectations.
Cons: The Spa area can be improved in terms of having a relaxation area (chairs/sofa etc)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I travel the world in my job. I am top status with Marriott and second to top with IHG. And, I also stay in boutique hotels occasionally. This hotel is fantastic! At the top of my list. Stay here.
Cons: The room was a bit cool at night but I would stay here again in a heartbeat:
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting was magical. We stayed in one of the garden rooms and I really just wanted to sit in the garden and literally smell the roses. It was beautiful and very well cared for. The small details were charming-water bottle at night , notes and candies left at turn down in the evenings. We had to leave before expected and the concierge was a HUGE help changing all our flights and hotels
Cons: I entertained a group of friends in the dining room and the food did not match the price or the very nice service. It actually was the worst meal I had on a 2 week trip and was overpriced for the guality of the food.

Pros: Welcome Drink Turndown Chocolate Excellent Breakfast Hardwood Floors Rain Showerhead Friendly Staff Comfy Bed Secured Key Access Elevator
Cons: Noise on Highway Side of Hotel Staff accommodated me as a light sleeper and moved me to a quieter room with a tranquil city view. Cherry on top was a dessert tray for the inconvenience.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent. It was a huge Buffett with all types of foods. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. Nice spacious rooms and good, hot shower.
Cons: Our room was quite loud and we were in the basement level, so we could hear a lot of noises from the lobby. It’s a 15 minute taxi ride into the city - walking is not a good idea.

Pros: Everything was clean. the staff is super organized and very friendly
Cons: everything

8.3 Excellent
Pros: We love the old style wood and the charm of the Hotel. The Breakfast is the high point of every day, with the good service and wonderful view. Location is great and the water is hot.
Cons: There was no internet in room 206 most of the time. A tiny room, no desk or table for the room service tray. The room is directly under the kitchen, and is noisy when the breakfast juicer starts up.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness and a wonderful breakfast each day.
Cons: The staff went out of their way to be accommodating and friendly It was much like a botique hotel with them knowing your name when you came in each time. Their restaurant was excellent! Why I didn't give 100% was that our room (which had a wonderful view) was situated above where people met, and I guess continued their party ...sleep was diffucult.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building. The food was very good. The staff very friendly and helpful. I like the location because it was in El Centro close to all the action. Nice lobby with fireplace to sit and relax. Restaurant is very good. Free breakfast is very nice. Very satisfied with our stay.
Cons: Room was a little small, but worth it.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel. Everything was great and great staff.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The place is very nice with a lot of character great location and an exceptional food served both for breakfast and in the restaurant. Staff was very available and assisted me with calling a doctor, ordering medications and more so I cannot stress how welcome we felt.
Cons: I was not allowed to check out later than the regualar 12h00. As my flight was only at 18h and was travelling with a small baby I found it a nuisance and not the best treatment.
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff at breakfast were lovely. The food was good. Most of the staff throughout were lovely. The garden outside our room was beautiful.
Cons: Our room was a tiny dark room. One of the beds had to be slanted in order to close the door. The lighting was atrocious. The lamp beside the bed had to be unplugged (no switch) to turn on/off; this made it impossible to get up in the dark. The room was cold and dank.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. I don’t remember the name of one of the waiters at the restaurant, but he is an asset to the restaurant. I told him not to retire because the restaurant will never be the same: great service!
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Breakfast with few options.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel in Cuenca with traditional decoration , seems like old historial

6.3 Good
Pros: I love the friendly smiles and courteous staff They took time to hear and tend to us Whenever we came to counter They had excellent customer service The view from room was such a delight Water cascades, greenery trees, rocks, I loved it.. The rooms wood set up construction and chimney Were an excellent touch.
Cons: I loved the room But my family member and her spouse Were not told The bottom floor bed Was heated They couldn't sleep all night The were highly uncomfortable They were up all night Slept for one hour When they Rose My family member face was swollen And her husband was sweaty and hypertensive With bad headache. My whole concern here is why as PAYING GUESTS WE WERE NOT INFORMED THAT THE BOTTOM FLOOR BED WILL BE ON HEATING FIRE DURING THE NIGHT. My family member called desk all night At 12, 0100, 3am And none answered, or assisted us during this serious distress My family member was excited at arrival, but extremely disappointed at departure. please please and please, Let your next clients renting the loft That the bottom floor Is burning hot at night. Please be aware Thanks
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Almost everything
Cons: We couldn’t used the jacuzzi because the Water was too low
6.3 Good
Pros: Well kept grounds.
Cons: Well for starters the bathtub was not clean, the view from our room was of concrete roof and a work ladder placed right in front of window. The food and products are way overpriced, dont know how they stay in business, maybe from the fish farm. The free breakfast was a slap in the face, had to dish out more money for decent breakfast. I can not recommend anyone to stay at this place. The high cost 120.00 with view of a ladder with tax of course, however this is misleading because everything else cost way too much. The final bill is roughly 202.00. The service is lacking, not friendly at all. The front desk looks as if someone just shot their dog. We did have one nice waiter, a young man who was very attentive and nice. Also you will find a list of don'ts when you enter the room, such as, misplaced towels, missing glasses, or spot on the sheets you will be charged...are you kidding me. I recommend you stay somewhere else and visit cajas for the day. The place is beautiful but grossly mismanaged. It's a bad joke when it comes to value and price
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hosteria Dos Chorreras feels like been in "Alice in Wonderland" Beautiful, well kept place with professionally, friendly and diverse staff. We stayed at a Bungalow and was amazing. Room was nicely decorated, well kept, clean, no mold smell and no noise from neighbors. Food was great as well. We ate at three different restaurants and food was excellent. Breakfast buffet was great, their natural juices are super good. Must try their famous empanadas de viento, they are big, but so good I ate two. The location is perfect if you want to explore El Cajas National Park. It is also very close to Cuenca, which is a beautiful city.
Cons: Hosteria Dos Chorreras is such a beautiful place but, be prepared for cold weather when going outside. It was raining and wet outside. Should improve parking area (should be paved).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent, nestled on the side of the Cajas Mountains. You are literally in the clouds. Food, service and staff was excellent. An excellent mountain lodge while visiting Cuenca, Ecuador.
Cons: For me, nothing.

6.7 Good
Pros: Beautiful building, good breakfast included.

7.9 Good
Pros: It’s a lovely old hotel with beautiful common areas to enjoy. The staff were very nice and helpful, and my room was spacious and comfortable.
Cons: My room though spacious was a little dark and the bath/shower had some issues - no bath taps so had to fill with shower which was a little tricky with the layout. Also, nearly slipped over in the bath/shower as the glass screen was set in place and so had to hop in the top end which was sloped. Had a lucky save as could’ve easily taken the glass screen down with me, which could’ve been disastrous. Hope they fix it as very dangerous.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a very early arrival and requested to leave our bags and see city. They gave us our room instead. No elevator and on 3rd floor. Bell boy ran our bags up. Breakfast exceptional with lots of choices. Room was clean. 2 bottles of water left for us each morning and wine, sodas, beer in refrigerator , availble for purchase. Coffee and tea available all day. Tour booked for us by receptionist was excellent. She also answered all our cultural questions and directed us to sights to see and online apps. Since we had a late flight out, we were offered the room for an extra hour. Can't daw enough good about it.
Cons: An elevator would have been nice. I would make a point to ask for 2nd floor room. High elevation makes it hard to breathe going up stairs.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good. Room clean and staff very helpful.
Cons: My room was very small and it had NO view to the street. Apart of that it was clean and comfortable. I had some trouble with hot water, which was solved quickly. One of the shower shower doors was missing so the bathroom got wet when I showered.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is spotless and very comfortable, however the staff is the best asset to this hotel. Fantastic people and great customer service.
Cons: The just need a little work on the noise reduction for the wooden floors.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendly & helpful staff. Trying local dishes for breakfast. Free tea and coffee whenever you wanted - welcome after a day visiting. The decoration and layout of the inside of the hotel. The location in the centre of town. Leaving our bags after checkout wasn’t a problem.
Cons: Nothing at all!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Down town Cuenca, near Cathedral
Cons: A staff very kind, she guide me to a nice restaurant
7.1 Good
Pros: This hotel is very nicely located and has a good breakfast. The common spaces are beautiful.
Cons: Considering this is a 5 star hotel, it does not meet requirements one may expect from a 5 star hotel. The toilet was dirty and the hotel did not look like the picture and did not feel like a 5 star hotelroom. We got twin beds on our honeymoon. To be fair, they did decorate the room nicely.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel in a great location. Very easy to walk around from that location. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Andrea was especially helpful in giving recommendations, making reservations, coordinating tours and just helping me out since my Spanish is very poor. Breakfast was good with nice variety of offerings. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to stay there again .
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff at the hotel was very nice and helpful. A really great team, especially at the reception - they knew our room numbers without ask and were really nice with us.
Cons: More food variety at breakfast.

6.7 Good
Pros: I should have realised the hotel fronts onto a busy main road and major bus route through Cuenca, so my advice is do not choose a room overlooking the street. Staff were very friendly, breakfasts were limited, WiFi non existent, but generally the value was good.
Cons: WiFi. Slippery tiles in the shower and bathroom.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Good location, nice pool
Cons: Myself and my boyfriend are backpacking in Ecuador, for my birthday we booked this hotel as a treat- rather than the hostels we have been staying in. But it’s safe to say, we have stayed in far nicer, (and far cheaper) hostels. We arrived and the kind receptionist gave us a nice, fairly modern and spacious room. We returned from a short walk and our toilet was leaking. We were allocated a smaller and more dated room with no windows and a mouldy bathroom. This was a little disheartening as I was excited for the nicer room to rest in for my birthday. What confused us more, is that this hotel is huge, with lots of empty rooms, so we don’t understand why we were allocated this downgraded room. I was excited by the idea of waking up to the included breakfast, to be greeted by half a banana chopped in a bowl and a strange plate of scrambled eggs, cheese and cold meats (all of which aren’t particularly to my taste). This didn’t live up to expectations, as we have had much tastier included breakfasts when staying in cheap hostels. I was mostly looking forward to relaxing in their jacuzzi and sauna, to find it’s only open from 6pm-8pm! Which doesn’t really work around dinner plans. But as we booked this hotel primarily for their “spa” we reserved the jacuzzi from 6pm to go before dinner. When we walked up, the jacuzzi was unbearably hot! (Unable to put your hand in) The receptionist was very kind and apologetic, we were told to give it 15 minutes, however it didn’t cool off at all and we had dinner plans to go to. To call this hotel a “spa” is ridiculous, although the pool was heated nicely, their facilities are only open 2 hours a day and we weren’t able to use them! They advertise a pool/snooker table, which we thought would be fun! However, 2 balls were missing, so the whole table was pretty pointless and another disappointment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: great indoor pool and location is in the center.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly but we did not have hot water. We told the staff and it came a few hours later. The next day, no hot water again other than that, good place to stay.
Cons: No hot water
