So much value for the money, a short walk to the center.
Nice breakfast great location.
Comfortable beds, bright rooms
I usually never leave a bad review to the accomodations where staying, but this place was something else, prompting me to write the following review. Hotel staff which doesn't speak English haven't returned us 40 soles change due for the room. Multiple attempts were made to explain that they own us our money back without success. Quote for 2 nights was 160soles, I've paid 200soles cash and receptionist haven't got enough change to return, so she asked me to come back in 2 hours to collect it. She haven't provide any kind of receipt for money. When I came back other person was on reception and he couldn't understand anything and was unable to get in touch with previous receptionist. After that every time we asked for our change staff just replied that they do not speak English. Very angry on how things ended. Other than that, rooms have incredible thin window glazing so you are forced to rent (!) heater for additional money. Once heater is in room, you can plug it to the only power point available in room and therefore there is no way you could recharge phone etc. There is a dog on property which barks whole night through. If you get atrium looking room, than get prepared for dog's harassment. Hot shower is available only in the evening, through the day water runs cold. Once checked in, you are not provided with the hotel entrance door key, so every time you go out and come back you need to buzz on intercom for someone to let you in. If there is no staff attend to front door, you are locked out until further notice. Breakfast is advertised to start on 6am which is great because day trips from Cusco starts quite early. When we show up for breakfast at 6am there was nobody around and no food available. First sign of the kitchen staff was on 6:45 rushing into kitchen to make us something but it was too late as we needed to go.
Great staff, v friendly & accommodating
The staff was polite and friendly.
The rooms are not the same as it was written in description. It was very cold, no heater. Blankets are dirty. No elevator, iron, hairdryer even for extra charge.
