Excellent 10.0
Pros: Bernadette and Andrew were incredibly sweet and very welcoming. They thought of everything and were very accommodating. Strongly recommend if you like that personal experience and having a place that doesn’t feel so much like a hotel. We sure did!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hosts provide such amazing personal attention from check-in to a customized breakfast in the morning. Room was clean and comfortable. Great location, only a few minutes from the airport and close to a great pub and shopping center. Will stay here anytime we're in Dublin!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location is very convenient for the Dublin airport and easily walkable to village of Swords. Hosts were very welcoming and gave us valuable information about the surrounding area and suggestions for restaurants and pubs. Accomodations were very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We needed to leave prior to the usual breakfast time and the hosts agreed to serve us early. Highly recommend!!

Pros: I booked this stay as a need to stay somewhere last year (In 2017) but quickly changed my view when I saw how amazing this cottage is! My friend and I were greeted immediately and before talking Business was offered tea, coffee, or champagne. After receiving the tea, he sat down with us and outlined all the restaurants and bars in the area to try and ones to stay away from since it was a holiday. On top of the holiday there was a rugby match going on so it would have been hard to find a place to sit down and eat or have a beer. I was very satisfied with my service and given the opportunity to stay in Dublin again I would choose this in a heartbeat. Thank you rose cottage!!!
Cons: There was nothing in control of the cottage that was in satisfied with the weather is another comment.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Our host, Dan, exlemplified the term. This was our first day in Ireland, and we felt utterly lost. Dan reached out to us before our plane even left home, asking when he might expect us. We had an email dialog that helped us use the public transportation system to reach the B&B. He let us drop our luggage off and explore Dublin while waiting for check-in time, then showed us the best bus routes to take. In the morning, he cooked up a great Irish breakfast for us to get our day started. About the bed, we took it for granted. It was a nice, comfortable mattress, which we wished we had for the next two weeks. It seems comfortable beds are not common in Europe and the UK, so it was a real luxury to have had our first night after a full day of travel at Rose Cottage.
Cons: It is a bit outside of Dublin center, so the bus ride takes about an hour...if there is not a hurling match happening.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: * Close to the airport * Friendly, very helpful staff * Free airport shuttle bus * Clean, spacious room * Surprisingly excellent dinner * Reasonable rates
Good 7.7
Pros: Beautiful hotel, very comfortable, restaurant looked inviting though I was too late to try it.
Cons: Didn't get a lot of help trying to get myself to the airport in the morning.
Good 6.8
Pros: Great loction. It is a airport hotel that is very easily accessible to the city centre. Staff is good
Cons: We did not like that there was hair in the bath tub and all the doors slammed in hallways making it noise at night.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: I was very impressed with the breakfast. It included a variety of hot and cold foods, drinks, and excellent service. Staff is very knowledgeable about the different bus routes and different attractions. Very impressed .
Cons: The bed wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked, but I slept fine.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Nice airport hotel to stay at night before your flight.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very pretty inside and very clean. It was a great bargain and close to the airport. Had some shops close by just in case you needed any necessities.
Cons: N/A
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We had an 11 hour flight layover. The hotel was less than 10 mins from the airport. It was clean and comfortable. This is a nice hotel and definitely fit the bill. A great place to stay

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Food is excellent!
Good 6.5
Pros: Proximity to airport.
Cons: Everything beyond the room was an additional cost; coffee, tea, pricey breakfast, the slowest internet around. Not even parking validation for a one night stay. I guess I am spoiled by USA standards.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Got early check-in. The shuttle goes quite frequently. And they have hypoallergenic pillows!
Cons: Dry air in the room.
Good 7.1
Cons: Finding parking was difficult. Shower was either cold or scalding hot.
Okay 5.4
Pros: The free 24/7 shuttle to and from the airport was very convinent
Cons: The rooms were old and outdated, shower wasn't good, and bar staff were slow and ignorant
Good 6.2
Pros: Friendly staff, great shuttle service
Cons: Clean room but musty smell
Okay 4.0
Pros: The premium rooms are extremely nice.
Cons: The standard rooms are dismal at best. We stayed the first night in a premium room that we had paid for, but the second night was complimentary through the airline carrier. At which time we were put in a standard room. It was like starting at the Hilton then being down graded to the red roof inn.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Loved the hotel. Started with the amazing front desk staff , Milli, was her name. She was the most accommodating person ever and was sure to take care of us immediately. Give that girl a raise! A convenient shuttle bus from the airport was also a nice touch, especially for free. We loved our nice and spacious room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Dublin, especially if they want to be close to the airport.
Mediocre 3.4
Pros: Nice lobby
Cons: Cleaner room
Mediocre 3.7
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the shower was good.
Cons: We stayed here for one night on Thursday 2 November 2017. The shuttle bus stance 16 is one of the furthest from the terminal building. It is approximately a 10 minute journey but can take longer depending on traffic and time of day. At check in the receptionist was efficient but her appearance was poor giving rise to concerns about standards in the hotel. We found the atmosphere in our room oppressive; despite the air conditioning there was no humidity at all. We tried opening the window but it was too noisy due to the hotel's engineering system. We were forced to try again later but then found that the locking mechanism on the window jammed and the night staff could not fix the issue at 3.30am so we had to put up with the noise for the rest of the night. As a result we got very little sleep. Despite the member of the night staff saying that he would report the issue, the receptionist had no record of it at check out but promised to investigate. Two days later I have heard nothing from the hotel and no offer of compensation against the prepaid charges. On the return to the airport the standing room only bus departure was delayed 15 minutes due to a driver change over with the bus engine left running. This is a very busy hotel 10 minutes from Dublin Aiport using the hotel's shuttle bus which theoretically runs every 20 minutes. The hotel is isolated at an island off the motorway so you have no alternative for food other than the hotel's own coffee shop, bar and restaurant; and prices! The bath towels were very thin. There was a hole in the bathroom sink which they had unsuccessfully attempted to cover with silicone. If I was overnighting at Dublin Airport again I would look for an alternative closer to the airport.
Good 6.5
Pros: Clean modern room. Staff were friendly
Cons: Quite a distance from airport. Shuttle bus provided approximately every twenty minutes. Drop off is s short walk to terminal 1. When you get out of the elevator their is s short flight of stairs which is awkward with heavy luggage. Bad design.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Staff are very friendly and helpful
Cons: It’s missing a few ash trays outside the front door of the hotel

Good 6.8
Pros: Very convienet to the airport (less than 5 minutes) and nice, newer rooms. The built-in USB ports for charging devices was an especially nice touch.
Cons: We booked two spots on arrival for the shuttle back to the airport for our return the next day, but when we came down the following morning at our scheduled time, they had not held the spots and the shuttle was already full. We did manage to pick ourselves in and make it, but not without having to go with the driver back into the hotel to the concierge desk, and even then 1 of had to sit in the isle on the floor of the van sardined around luggage. It's virtually impossible to use the shower without spilling a fair bit of water into the rest of the bathroom. Seemed more a "form over function" design choice, or perhaps an unintended consequence of the good water pressure (which I was a fan of).
Good 6.0
Pros: This hotel is very close to the airport with a free shuttle to take you to and from. Everyone is kind which is also a plus.
Cons: We came across a dry urine stain on our bed in I ur first room. Seemed to be on an additional disposable comfort sheet which could have easily been tossed whenever someone came across the issue. But the hotel quickly moved us to a new room after a quick phone call.
Good 7.7
Pros: The hotel had excellent wifi, the restaurant downstairs was great and affordable, the airport shuttle was very convenient, the staff took great care of me by letting me check in a bit early, the room was spacious and the bathroom was wonderful. I'd had a chaotic 36 hours traveling internationally and needed a night to unwinde before my next flight. This did the trick.
Cons: Bit noisy in the day if you're trying to sleep, no a/c so it got pretty stuffy, bed was very firm, over priced but you pay for convenience I suppose.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: New rooms with an excellent bed and great bathrooms
Cons: Menu was decent but not overly extensive. Gym has all the basics you need but not overly welcoming facilities and layout.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: compared to another Dublin airport I stayed at, it was better.
Cons: compared to most other city's airport hotels, Dublin's are poor quality and OVER priced. Lucky for Ireland that there are lots of Irish American's enamored with travelling to Ireland, but IMHO it's over priced for the so-so accommodations and service that you get in the country.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location near the airport, with shuttle available 24 hours.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Booked this hotel at the last minute and got a great deal. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly. The hotel is next to the airport and offers a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. I would highly recommend for business or personal travel for someone looking to stay near the airport.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. I saw smiles on all of their faces. This is very important to me. It was very clean.
Good 6.3
Pros: Close @ the Airport!
Good 7.1
Pros: Very isolated unless you come with a car. Unable to easily get simple things like snacks. The hotel is the only close source of food, consequently the prices are high. The hotel was clean and the staff were fairly helpful.

Okay 5.1
Pros: The food at the hotel is awful.
Okay 4.8
Pros: Staff was very fruendly
Cons: You can hear everything from the rooms beside/above you. It is very difficult to sleep
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Rooms
Cons: Limited food menu
Okay 4.2
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Dirty bathroom Small room Uncomfortable bed
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Friendly staff, clean and neat, and liked the restaurant and bar areas.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was an easy jump to the airport and easy to find. The shuttle was prompt, easy and reliable.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Easy check in/check out. Staff very friendly and helpful. Convenient location to airport and a free shuttle to the airport is a plus. Bar staff and waiters friendly and the food was good. Definitely would recommend.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: it was very convenient for an overnight stay prior to an early flight out of DUB: there was even a courtesy coach - notwithstanding that the hotel is no more than a 10 minute walk from Terminal 1 (the furthest away terminal)!
Cons: nothing: this hotel was exactly what I wanted for an overnight stay
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Clean small perfect room. So close to the airport and easy check in and out. It was dreamy.
Good 6.5
Pros: Good look about it, nice hotel bar, close proximity to airport, nice staff.
Cons: The rooms were tiny, like smaller than NYC on a budget. I kept saying I felt like I was on a cruise ship down below. If the price were under $100, (say $70) I would think it is great because everything else is accommodating.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Proximity to airport was great, about a 2-3 min ride on free shuttle.
Good 6.8
Pros: Staff was very friendly, kind, and helpful.
Cons: They need more frequent shuttles or a larger shuttle bus. Both to and from the hotel we had to wait for the driver to come back because they were full.

Excellent 8.0
Cons: Not near anything other than the airport.
Mediocre 2.8
Pros: Location, close to the airport
Cons: Everything!!!. Unclean room, uncomfortable bed, no bedside lights, inconvenient bathroom , dirty exterior...you name it
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The room was great. The breakfast was good.
Cons: Staff took a while to bring a missing set of towels after asking 3 times
Okay 5.7
Pros: the staff was nice....the shuttle to airport was great. The mattress was comfortable.
Cons: There was only a duvet option on the bed....no sheet....I was too warm but only option was to take cover off duvet or turn on a/c . Plus, the air in the room felt stale and stuffy...not a good feeling. Service in the restaurant was good at first, then didn't see anybody as it got busy. Overall, it was not worth the price and woudn't stay there again on my next trip to Ireland.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: -Hotel was easy to check in/check out -Close to Dublin airport -Airport shuttle every 15min... Very Helpful! -Within walking distance of local pub
Excellent 8.3
Pros: I was looking for a hotel that was close to the Dublin Airport, since I was dropping off a rental car and flying out the next morning. This hotel suited my need very well. The price was right for a single traveler and the meals were good. The staff was very helpful and answered all my questions.
Cons: Nothing
Okay 5.1
Pros: Apart from the manage in the restaurant the staff were to a man and woman rude, rude, rude!
Cons: From the minute you arrive you know you're being ripped off. The reception staff found me to be an inconvenience as they were busy chatting, then I showed up. The bedroom was basic, dated, with a very uncomfortable bed. I couldn't believe that after I had paid far to much for a room only rate I was charged for the privilege or parking my car in the car park. Next time when I have an early morning flight I'll go elsewhere.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: The shower
Cons: Our room was dirty, there was folding furniture and lamps that didn't even work. The bed didn't have 2 pillows and there were stains in the bed. The furniture and mirrors were broken and scratches. There were stains on the carpet and no bag in the dirty trash can. I was pregnant and my husband and I were on our baby moon. We got in late to this hotel and just needed sleep. We did not get it. It took the staff 20 minutes to get us checked in. Then, when we realized the bed didn't have sheets, we called the desk. They said they'd send someone up. That took 20 more minutes. They sent up a man who just handed us sheets and a pillow and said we would need to make the bed bc he couldn't. We called again and were told the manager was helping a more important client, so we went down to the desk to request a different room. When we got to the desk the manager was standing there not busy and told us he just talked to us on the phone. He said there were no other rooms, but he could give us breakfast. We were leaving before breakfast for a flight and he was unsympathetic. He said we would need to make the bed and just deal with the room. He was very rude and unprofessional. We finally got to bed 2 hours after arriving and very unhappy. It was a bad ending to our beautiful trip. What a shame.

Pros: The free airport shuttle.
Cons: My room was 80 degrees and didn't get much cooler. I realize most (perhaps even all) business in Ireland don't feel like they need a/c when the island stays cool. However, in a fourth story hotel room that has been baked by the sun all day, you either need to have a/c or windows that open more than an inch to cool the room. It took an hour and 3 requests to get a couple of tiny, tabletop fans. The staff at the desk and the porter were very unhelpful. I had just wanted to spend a night resting between flights, but that didn't happen. I should have spent my money elsewhere.

Excellent 9.1
Pros: The front desk employees were very helpful, very clean and great value for the price.
Mediocre 2.0
Cons: Have to pay 2 euros per person for shuttle to and from the airport. Hotel is very tired, carpets look disgunstingly tired in corridors and rooms. Will not be staying here again, not worth the price I paid even with special offer.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Great value for money
Okay 4.8
Pros: Swords was an interesting village and was close to the airport. Great shuttle to and from the airport.
Cons: The hotel had very thin and flimsy walls. We could hear everything going on in all rooms around us and across the hall. We didn't feel like the hotel was secure. Anyone could walk in and out with no security or access card or key. Very loud most of the night. We changed hotels for our return trip to Dublin.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: The breakfast was fantastic, the room clean, bed comfortable.
Cons: It was very difficult to adjust the water temperature of the shower. Could not get the wi-fi to work in the room in the morning. As there was a charge of €5 per device for a 24hr period this was disappointing. There was no trouble connecting to the wi-fi in the breakfast area though.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Quick check-in. Friendly helpful staff, Easy to order and have dinner delivered from outside the hotel.
Cons: No elevator so needed to carry suitcase upstairs. Might be a bit difficult for an older patron.
