Pros: location thats all
Cons: sbocking service in the restaurant our order was lost and waited longer than we should have put up with to get the food over 2 hours from start to finish when food eventually came its was stone cold and stale and priced at €22 for the fish main alone .Entered the restaurant at 7pm to factor in our 4 yr olds bedtime by the time we got her food she was falling asleep and upset. Needless to say that was our breaking point and we handed it straight back and walked out . the room itself was average carpet had not been hoovered and mirrors dirty ..€160 alone and did not include breakfast much to our shock and parking was an additional €12.50 ..all in all €204 euro for a bad experience ..wont ever go back ..far better hotels in dublin costing a lot less

Pros: Great location; good quality
Cons: Communication regarding our reservation was poorly transferred and initially the blame was put on us. They did rectify it and we certainly appreciate that but, certainly felt it was a case of 'you are guilty first and then a discussion'
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice bar and restaurant inside the hotel, beautifully furnished rooms and great location.
Cons: Don't stay in a room facing the front of the building as the tram runs right in front and at all hours. If you're a light sleeper, it will definitely keep you awake. Also, the TV's were small and the channel selection poor.

Pros: Reception staff very friendly and welcoming, also the chamber maid was very friendly. Excellent location Room was warm and comfortable.
Cons: Dining area staff less friendly. Limited choice of tea for breakfast. No Earl Grey and no Roibois

Cons: Not so much that we did not like, but the only minor complaint is the location is away from the city center, but Dublin is not a huge city, so it is a quick cab ride. Or, if you are feeling ambitious, a 20-30 min walk. Overall, great hotel.

Cons: Location was out of the way if you want to do sight seeing, but it was close to the airport so perfect for us (we stayed there the last day of our trip). Bit of a wait for the business center computers, some of the other guests were using for non-business purposes - wish there was a sign that had a time limit or something.

Pros: Was attending game at Croke Park stadium so location was excellent for that event. If I wasn't attending the game, the location wasn't good.

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay at The Morgan! We could not have had a better location or staff for our honeymoon in Dublin. Our check in was not until 3pm, we arrived at 9am and they gave us a room right away without any complications. When we got to our room our room key was not working, we notified staff and they not only tried to remedy the problem right away but without hesitation they moved us to a different room. They actually upgraded us at no additional charge. We got complimentary drinks at the bar and the bar staff was extraordinary! They took care of us and made sure our stay was nothing but Perfect! If we ever get a chance to come back to Dublin we will definitely be coming to stay at The Morgan!

Pros: The room was lovely.
Cons: The several live bands every Friday-Sunday night in the neighborhood might as well be in your bedroom. If you like drums, loud choruses, and bass guitars, then all will seem fine. Really a shame for an otherwise pleasant hotel
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The location! The staff was very friendly.
Cons: The beds are not that comfy , mattresses are pretty thin.
7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel was clean and was situated in the liveliest streets of Dublin. Was a great atmosphere all around the area.
Cons: My bed was extremely uncomfortable, the mattress had an usual design which meant there was a ridge running across the whole width of the bed. This made sleeping painful. Spoke to the manager who sadly said that was just the way the beds were made. So resulted in terrible nights sleep for the whole week

Cons: There was no AC in the hotel on the top floor.. it forced us to keep the window open as it was very warm -78-80 F in the room Staff tried to help us with heater/fans... but... that didnt really help. We were forced to leave the window open and endure the nightly noise of Fleet street. This was disappointing.
Other than this our stay at the Morgan was good.

Pros: All ok and as expected for this class of hotel
Cons: Dinner service, food cold, wine oxidised, replacement wine poor, service slow and with only 4 tables! Eg, aperitif was so slow we had the the starter at same time. Cheeseboard was worst I’ve ever seen, only 3 measly hard cheeses and one even served with pieces of rind. The venison was cooked ok but tasteless, the sprouts! Let’s just say not edible, bitter. At the bar service was so slow they apologies by serving us some free drink in compensation. But overall service let the hotel down

Pros: Breakfast was good. We forgot our adapters for electricity and the hotel provide it to us.
Cons: When you look the hotel from the outside you have the impression of luxury premises but appart from the nice lobby, this is not the case. The hotel is old and needs renovation. Walls are dirty. We got a double bed instead of a queen as booked.

Pros: Place spotless.Food was very good.Lift was extremely efficient. Rest of the staff were lovely and friendly. For a hotel in prime position it's very well priced.Overall it's a pretty good hotel for the money.
Cons: When we got back to hotel after rod Stewart concert the porter questioned if I was staying there.i produced my card with room number on the card holding the card.he said my name didn't match the room.i insisted that that's what they gave me at check in desk.he checked again an said I was in next room but he read card wrong himself and blamed me.i sad joking lucky I didnt end up in wrong room.he said sharply it wasnt that type of hotel. To b honest I don't expect to b treated like this. Now he wasnt Irish so maybe he doesn't get our wit but he made me feel rather small.I always thought the customer was king The other staff made up for him. There was a chap at check in also not Irish but was so helpful and nice and all the other staff were absolutely lovely.Just think that night porter slash security guy was out of line.2 ladies in our mid fifties to be treated like that .I never ever came across that before.Maybe it Dublin city Has anyone else experienced this in the Gresham.

Cons: This hotel has potential, but in the end was let down in execution. The main issue i had was that there was work being carried out within the hotel. This meant that walls near my room and around the hotel were plain plasterboard. This is itself is not that bad, but the fact there were workers during the day outside the room using tools could have been quite disruptive. Also, this plastering/plasterboard was being carried out in a number of areas of the hotel, so at times it felt like you were in the middle of work being carried out. I don't mind - as this needs to be done - but perhaps at leats offer something for the slight inconvenience (breakfast, cheaper rooms, or at least apologise for the work). Nothing was even mentioned. I would have been annoyed if i had been woken by a drill/work tool outside my room.

Pros: The staff were incredible. The room was very clean and big enough for three people, as was needed. The location was absolutely unbeatable. Close enough to the river to be able to cross the bridge at night for an Irish dancing show, and right on Temple street for all of the night life attractions. There is a grocery store right across the road, many coffee shops and cafes and all the tour buses pick up less than two blocks away. I was very worried about the noise, not only due to some reviews but also given the location on Temple Street. However, we didn’t hear a thing at night (and I’m a light sleeper). The windows seem to be soundproof, and the location is far enough down the street away from the loud music. We needed a parking for the two night stay, and there is a parking garage just around the corner which is great. It’s very expensive, but the hotel provides you with a major discount if you’re a guest. Fantastic stay.

Pros: I liked the location of the hotel and the staff
Cons: we booked a deluxe double room and paid £400 for 2 nights room only and the room we were given i wouldn't have stayed in for half the price, it was shockingly small, had a double bed and a single bed at the end of it that you had to climb over to get to the other side of the double, it was horrendous. we were moved to another room which was much better but no where near the standard i expected. I would have put it at a decent standard room, no where near a deluxe room. It was super noisy at night but you do expect that and the complimentary ear plugs came in very handy so that was fine but still very disappointed in the room.

Pros: Central location close to museums, historical places, shopping areas (including Grafton Street) & restaurants. Many tourist attractions within walking distance.

Cons: If I HAD to fault this property the only thing would be that it smelled a bit like bleach when we first walked into the room, but it was also comforting that it meant that the room was clean. This wasn’t major at all and was hardly a fault.

7.4 Good
Pros: Checkout time of 12. Friendly staff. Convenient location (close to city center and airport):
Cons: No air conditioning made sleeping difficult a few nights. The double room had 3 beds (two doubles and one queen) instead of two queens. No couch or armchairs in the room.
7.4 Good
Pros: Location was convenient and non-room facilities and restaurant were quite nice.
Cons: We we reserved and were sold “an executive king” with a view and upon arrival were told no such accommodation exists (caution!). in fact, our executive king was actually a quite small king room, with a view of parking lot and busy street and no air conditioning. It turns out that is situation with many of the hotel’s rooms. The only way to get ventilation is to open a window which gives you much highway noise. Not at all a restful setting.

Pros: Great location, right in the centre of the south side, less than 5 mins to Grafton Street. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: We were fine with our stay until we got disturbed in the morning by the cleaning lady. We stayed in Dublin as we had a Christmas party, so we didn't plan to get up in the morning. Around 8 am, we heard someone knocking the door. It turned out the cleaning lady wanted to do room service. Our sleep got disturbed and that's not over. We put Do Not Dusturb sign outside the door. At 11:30, the cleaning lady took off the sign and opened the door. We were forced to check out. This was very unprofessional. It's such a shame. The reason we are staying Dublin is usually because we are going for a night out and we'd like to stay late in bed. We would think twice coming back again.

Pros: Location and friendly staff.
Cons:
7.9 Good
Pros: The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. My parents had a great view of Christ Church cathedral. Convenient for parking and of course close to everything
Cons: My parents also stayed. I had an early start so experienced no problems but unfortunately by the time they got up there was no water for wash/toilet facilities
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Coeliac friendly hotel. Staff took time to deal with dietary needs and all staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.
Cons:
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The Location, it is less than 8 mins. Walk to five of Dublins attractions. Christchurch cathedral is across the street; Dublin Castle & the Chester Beatty Lbrary were Five mins., S. Patrick Cathedral about 8 mins. and lastly Temple Bar was about 8 min
Cons: Yes. Jurys spent all that money building a great hotel with no A/C. None in the rooms and worse none in all the public rooms and hall ways - That it felt like a stifling 29c; Yeah, yeah. I know that the temperature was oddly warm but...
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was reasonably priced and perfect for filling us up for the day. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very centrally located for walking just about anywhere, but it wasn’t too close to bars and restaurants so it was quiet.
Cons:
With a stay at Jurys Inn Dublin Christchurch, you'll be centrally located in Dublin, steps from Christ Church Cathedral and 3 minutes by foot from Dublin Castle. Featured amenities include express check-in, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
With a stay at Academy Plaza Hotel, you'll be centrally located in Dublin, steps from O'Connell Street and within a 5-minute walk of Gate Theatre. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.

Pros: The men at reception checking in were very polite and couldn’t help enough. When we went to our original room, it smelt a little of damp (unfortunately I suffer from extreme nausea) but when I rang the receptionist, they sent up someone straight away with a key to a room down the hall. Bearing in mind that’s the first time in years Ive had a slight issue with a room at the Academy. The new room was perfect. We have stayed at the Plaza about 4 times this year, and have done for the past few years. It’s always our base when we are in Dublin. Always consistently excellent!

Pros:
Cons: The whole experience from start to finish was absolutely appalling. The staff were very rude and not abit accommodating to our needs and not abit professional I found the tone and vibe of the manner of the hotel horrendous. The rooms were far two small in size also really cold and noisy along with very very little facilities. I travel to Dublin often and stay in many hotels I will not be returning here again it was definitely not worth the price I will sure to let everyone know my concerns of this hotel when traveling in future.

Cons: The two nights we were there a band was playing loudly in the bar. We were on the top floor and could still hear the them most clearly. The beds were pretty hard. The shower was a problem. The head wouldn't stay up but would ship to the bottom of the post it was on. That made it waist high on me. The temperature and volume on the shower came and went in spits and spurts.

Pros: Location is very central to the City Center. It allows an easy walk to most of the main tourist sites in the area. The staff is excellent and very helpful. The attached restaurant is good.
Cons: The rooms are rather small and there is a lot of mechanical noise from equipment in the alley behind and next to the building. The walls are very thin so you hear a lot from the adjoining rooms, particularly when someone has come back late from the pubs and is rather boisterous.

Pros: Location was really good and the place was very clean. If you wanted to eat meals at the hostel and spend a lot of your time there, it's a nice place for that, although overpriced as far as hostels go (even in Dublin). Definitely a party hostel but I was just surprised at how expensive it is.

Pros: The staff here is absolutely wonderful and very friendly! You can ask for suggestions on places to go and things see and to do and they give out detailed descriptions on what you should expect to experience at each destination! The Night Staff was equally wonderful! To my surprise the night guards/security we're very friendly and helpful and happy to give good directions to near by places. The bartenders are cheerful, funny and have great suggestions for local restaurants and nightlife activities. The reception team is outstanding! They are warm and welcoming and available 24/7! They can help you with any delemas or concerns may come up during your stay. On my next trip to Dublin I will stay at the generator and the staff has a HUGE part to play in desire to book a room with the generator again!

Cons: The bar as good as it is, a bit of a tourist trap... It shouldn't be €5-6 for a pint...
The rooms were hot as hell, the window barely opened and only at the end of stay did we find out we could request a fan...
Not much else to complain about.
6.0 Good
Pros: The facilities are modern and relatively clean. Rooms are well maintained and mattresses are pretty comfortable. The bar area is nice and live music is a plus. Building and rooms are also secure. Swipe cards are required to go anywhere and there’s security at the door.
Cons: Upon arrival, the staff was more concerned with being cool than with being courteous. Morning staff was much better. What rubbed me the wrong way about this place is that they fail to provide any kind of secure storage for even the smallest of items. There are lock boxes under the beds, but require you bring your own padlock or pay a ridiculous amount of money to use the luggage storage in the basement. Plan ahead or snuggle your valuables. Also, no outside food is allowed. Strange for a hostel. The reason given is that plenty of food is available on site for purchase. Most things on the menu were expensive for a backpacker. The restaurants and supermarket across the way are the best options. Also, the provided shower gel dispenser is always empty and make sure you double check the toilet paper before you sit down. This place clearly has its eye on being trendy to attract the young, party crowd. It’s nothing similar to what backpackers are used to from every other hostel on the planet and fails to provide the community experience and chance to meet new people that solo travelers look for. Considering the price isn’t even on the lower end, there are better places in Dublin.

Pros: Location and atmosphere were fun.
Cons: I can’t say too much here since it IS a hostel, but the walls and doors are very thin and you can hear the loud, drunk patrons coming in all night. It made for a good daytime nap, but not the best nights sleep.

Cons: The only things that I can complain about is the fact that the laundry room often has a line waiting because the dryers take too long to dry. Just for one load it can take up to two to three hours before your clothes become dry, but even then they may not be dry and this leaves people will still be waiting to take their turn while their clothespecially sit soaking wet. Also the bar could be open later.

Convenient Location, a block from the bus station was the best. From there I could drop my bags and hit the shops and sights, which started just one block away - Perfect!

5.1 Okay
Pros: Good location and comfortable beds
Cons: Limited power points to charge phones
Staff weren’t all that approachable (with the exception of a few)
Have to put for luggage storage
No lockers secure lockers provided in room
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Super Friendly & Helpful Staff - Plus the front desk person remembered my name the Next Day. What a great way to feel valued as a guest, well done!
Convenient Location, a block from the bus station was the best. From there I could drop my bags and hit the shops and sights, which started just one block away - Perfect!
They have a sauna, pool table, library and other lounge in the basement. It wasn't well advertised, as everyone seemed to be on the main floor.
Great security - Key cards for every floor and room.
Cons: Wi-Fi not available in all rooms, so they recommend all guests go to lobby to use wi-fi, which does bring a community feel, but still inconvenient not having it in all rooms.
Breakfast could start a little earlier for travelers who have early morning flights or plans.
Nightly movie advertised, but not available
Sauna available for only 3 hours, 1 for females only, 1 coed, 1 for males only. It was a little uncomfortable having just one naked old man in the sauna when I arrived, so I turned around and left.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Price and location
Cons: There was a weird ticking in the room throughout the night and other guests were loud.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful staff, good central position, reasonably priced.
Cons:
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The organization, staff, willingness to help, cleanliness, excellent
Cons:
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff are amazing. Professionslism and friendliness in just the right mixture.
Cons:
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location right next to the Bus station and around the corner from Connolly Station, the Spire is less than 10 minutes and about 15 minutes to Temple Bar. The hostel was super clean and has lots of places to hang out and even a sauna. The beds are comfortable and the rooms warm.
Cons: The rooms don't have lockers and only one double powersocket which makes it hard for 6 people to use. Also the wifi only works in the common area.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly night staff, sauna and basement games room real bonus , provides basics like towel rental and shower gels. A literal stone's throw from busaras
Cons: Popular so active nightlife at times, not really a complaint but running a hostel well in such a central location draws in a crowd. None of which where out of hand just not great when traveling for Early morning starts.

Pros: It's a hip place, the rooms are clean, and the staff were externally helpful in helping me track down my wallet that I had left in a taxi.
Cons: Nothing, the place was great. There were some annoying persons staying there, but that's to be expected and it's not the hostel's fault.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff on reception were all very pleasant and extremely helpful. The location was perfect for us, close to the gig venue we were booked for. It was reasonably priced for Dublin (but not cheap), comfortable and clean. Beds and towels were fine.
Cons: The shower room bathroom was overlooked by another building (hotel?) with no curtain on the window. The frosted glass allowed for privacy from the ground floor level but not from the five stories looking down on us. Breakfast choices were pretty limited.
7.1 Good
Pros: I waa given bottom bunk which was OK. I was lucky our dorm was quiet. Staff were nice
Cons: At 11pm you are shut out of seats and kitchen. No where else to go. Hense people eating and drinking in dorms which should not be allowed. Washing machine broken so could not get clothes washed.. A lift would be useful as it's a long haul 3 flights of stairs. It's a old building in serious need of update in regards to carpets floors etc
7.0 Good
Pros: Really friendly staff, the bed was confortable
Cons: The showers and toilets were dirty and the kitchen was a bit of a mess in the midle of the day.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Kinlay house is located in a great area, near many of Dublin's main sights. I would definitely stay here again. Never felt unsafe or uncomfortable.
Cons: The rooms were a tad cold, as well as the bathroom. The cleanliness of the bathroom was also not the best. Someone had thrown up in the bathroom, and it was left for most of the day.

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: It was walking distance to Trinity College, Temple Bar and many of the sites in Dublin.
Cons: This place was disgusting! The room was dirty, the bathroom smelled moldy and the carpet was so nasty, we were afraid to walk on it without shoes. Additionally, we almost got stuck in the lift because it was broken, but no one bothered to put up a sign! We were there for 3 days, and it was broken the entire time we stayed there. We never saw any maintenance people even attempting to repair it. This place was not family friendly as indicated!!
