Pros: 1st they are SO ACCOMODATING. Thanks to guest services, concierge DENNIS :-0 and the crew plus the front door attendants, managers, housekeeping are all amazing. Guest Service Rep came to greet us and had the goats milk avail for my daughter. In the USA we can only purchase at select store and did not realize it was more common to have in Dublin. We have made Dublin-the Shelbourne as our #1 headquarters. The quality of our stay, the fact they have vetted services for a nanny, great food, amazing polite service from all departments simply speaks volumes. Mr. Hanley and his staff at this fine establishment continue to amaze me. I really appreciate the peace of mind they bring to me and my little 1 and 2 year old children each visit. We surely feel special and love the amazing spacious rooms. THANK YOU ALL!! See you again next year.

Pros: The fact that it was luxury hotel, we only stayed the one night so we didn't have much time at the hotel, we were going to a concert.
Cons: One thing when we arrived, the hotel didn't seem to have our booking which you should have confirmed with them, its not the fact that this was not done by yourselves, but the fact was, what if they did not have a room for us, but luckily they did, so we were disappointed in your service.. You will have to take that up with the hotel themselves in this matter. They said that our booking reference was not from their website & that we should have confirmed this ourselves, but why should we if we have it down in black & white that it was confirmed by booking.com

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay at The Morgan! We could not have had a better location or staff for our honeymoon in Dublin. Our check in was not until 3pm, we arrived at 9am and they gave us a room right away without any complications. When we got to our room our room key was not working, we notified staff and they not only tried to remedy the problem right away but without hesitation they moved us to a different room. They actually upgraded us at no additional charge. We got complimentary drinks at the bar and the bar staff was extraordinary! They took care of us and made sure our stay was nothing but Perfect! If we ever get a chance to come back to Dublin we will definitely be coming to stay at The Morgan!

Pros: The room was lovely.
Cons: The several live bands every Friday-Sunday night in the neighborhood might as well be in your bedroom. If you like drums, loud choruses, and bass guitars, then all will seem fine. Really a shame for an otherwise pleasant hotel

Pros: The location! The staff was very friendly.
Cons: The beds are not that comfy , mattresses are pretty thin.

Pros: The hotel was clean and was situated in the liveliest streets of Dublin. Was a great atmosphere all around the area.
Cons: My bed was extremely uncomfortable, the mattress had an usual design which meant there was a ridge running across the whole width of the bed. This made sleeping painful. Spoke to the manager who sadly said that was just the way the beds were made. So resulted in terrible nights sleep for the whole week

Cons: There was no AC in the hotel on the top floor.. it forced us to keep the window open as it was very warm -78-80 F in the room Staff tried to help us with heater/fans... but... that didnt really help. We were forced to leave the window open and endure the nightly noise of Fleet street. This was disappointing.
Other than this our stay at the Morgan was good.

Cons: Dinner service, food cold, wine oxidised, replacement wine poor, service slow and with only 4 tables! Eg, aperitif was so slow we had the the starter at same time. Cheeseboard was worst I’ve ever seen, only 3 measly hard cheeses and one even served with pieces of rind. The venison was cooked ok but tasteless, the sprouts! Let’s just say not edible, bitter. At the bar service was so slow they apologies by serving us some free drink in compensation. But overall service let the hotel down

Pros: Breakfast was good. We forgot our adapters for electricity and the hotel provide it to us.

Pros: Place spotless.Food was very good.Lift was extremely efficient. Rest of the staff were lovely and friendly. For a hotel in prime position it's very well priced.Overall it's a pretty good hotel for the money.
Cons: When we got back to hotel after rod Stewart concert the porter questioned if I was staying there.i produced my card with room number on the card holding the card.he said my name didn't match the room.i insisted that that's what they gave me at check in desk.he checked again an said I was in next room but he read card wrong himself and blamed me.i sad joking lucky I didnt end up in wrong room.he said sharply it wasnt that type of hotel. To b honest I don't expect to b treated like this. Now he wasnt Irish so maybe he doesn't get our wit but he made me feel rather small.I always thought the customer was king The other staff made up for him. There was a chap at check in also not Irish but was so helpful and nice and all the other staff were absolutely lovely.Just think that night porter slash security guy was out of line.2 ladies in our mid fifties to be treated like that .I never ever came across that before.Maybe it Dublin city Has anyone else experienced this in the Gresham.

Pros: The staff were incredible. The room was very clean and big enough for three people, as was needed. The location was absolutely unbeatable. Close enough to the river to be able to cross the bridge at night for an Irish dancing show, and right on Temple street for all of the night life attractions. There is a grocery store right across the road, many coffee shops and cafes and all the tour buses pick up less than two blocks away. I was very worried about the noise, not only due to some reviews but also given the location on Temple Street. However, we didn’t hear a thing at night (and I’m a light sleeper). The windows seem to be soundproof, and the location is far enough down the street away from the loud music. We needed a parking for the two night stay, and there is a parking garage just around the corner which is great. It’s very expensive, but the hotel provides you with a major discount if you’re a guest. Fantastic stay.

Pros: I liked the location of the hotel and the staff
Cons: we booked a deluxe double room and paid £400 for 2 nights room only and the room we were given i wouldn't have stayed in for half the price, it was shockingly small, had a double bed and a single bed at the end of it that you had to climb over to get to the other side of the double, it was horrendous. we were moved to another room which was much better but no where near the standard i expected. I would have put it at a decent standard room, no where near a deluxe room. It was super noisy at night but you do expect that and the complimentary ear plugs came in very handy so that was fine but still very disappointed in the room.

Pros: Central location close to museums, historical places, shopping areas (including Grafton Street) & restaurants. Many tourist attractions within walking distance.
Cons: Rooms are not sound-proofed but the hotel supplies you with ear-plugs which block the noises from the area’s night-life activities (especially during the weekend).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is right in the middle of the Temple Bar district known for its great nightlife. But it's also close to many other 'must sees' in Dublin, like Trinity College and Killmainham Jail. The bus system makes traveling about Dublin very easy and this hotel was easy to find. Very modern and clean, it boasts a very friendly and helpful staff!
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like about this hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service from the staff was outstanding.
Cons:

Pros: We had a lovely welcome pack of snacks and drinks
Cons: Our room was right by the constant hum of a generator but I’d rather that than nightclub noise

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Cons: If I HAD to fault this property the only thing would be that it smelled a bit like bleach when we first walked into the room, but it was also comforting that it meant that the room was clean. This wasn’t major at all and was hardly a fault.
There are 4 star luxury boutique hotels, and then there is The Temple Bar Hotel located in the very heart of Temple Bar Dublin. It is an icon of contemporary design, bringing together a boutique feel and charming hotel service. We guarantee you a great stay in our newly refurbished hotel.
The Temple Bar hotel is located in the heart of the Old City and centrally located to get to Trinity College, the Famous Guinness Storehouse and Jameson Distillery and within walking distance to The Convention Centre, 3 Arena and the BordGais Theatre. Sporting fans appreciate our convenient location to The Aviva Stadium & Croke Park.
With a stay at Camden Court Hotel, you'll be centrally located in Dublin, a 8-minute walk from St. Stephen's Green and 12 minutes by foot from St. Patrick's Cathedral. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.

The rooms were far two small in size also really cold and noisy along with very very little facilities. I travel to Dublin often and stay in many hotels I will not be returning here again it was definitely not worth the price I will sure to let everyone know my concerns of this hotel when traveling in future.

6.0 Good
Pros: The location, the ability to open your hotel window, the clean bathroom
Cons: The front staff the morning we checked in, I believe was a lead or supervisor who was very rude. The bed was rock hard and the pillows were flat. The walls were thin. So, you are able to hear everyone in the hallway and next door.

Cons: better wifi access
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel in a convenient location, right in the center of town
Cons:
5.0 Okay
Pros: There is no doubt the hotel has premium location
Cons: - Smells like cigarettes even though they signed me on a non smoking document - Very loud and noisy, you can here the street noises
7.1 Good
Pros: The staff were most helpful and went the extra mile when I couldn't get the printer to work to print my boarding pass. It was a fake out because it looks like it is coin operated but it all goes on your credit card. Posted information would have been nice. Great location.
Cons: The two nights we were there a band was playing loudly in the bar. We were on the top floor and could still hear the them most clearly. The beds were pretty hard. The shower was a problem. The head wouldn't stay up but would ship to the bottom of the post it was on. That made it waist high on me. The temperature and volume on the shower came and went in spits and spurts.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely laid back atmosphere.great location. So close to everything.
Cons: Bit dated but still loved it.
7.0 Good
Pros: Great location
Cons: Good hotel but we were in the front room and it was very noisy, didn’t sleep. But everything else was great

Pros: Restaurant staff lovely
Cons: Room was overheated All noises next door thru adjoining door could be heard till early hours of the morning along with guests partying late at night in the hallway
7.4 Good
Pros: Excellent location, good character
Cons: bed not very comfortable, bathroom not very updated, couldn't control hot and cold in the shower
7.0 Good
Pros: Loved the location and price was great value..Staff were excellent. Would stay here again anytime. Room was good size.
Cons: Bed was very small. Television was small. Room was next to vending machine which was nosiey.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Location is very central to the City Center. It allows an easy walk to most of the main tourist sites in the area. The staff is excellent and very helpful. The attached restaurant is good.
Cons: The rooms are rather small and there is a lot of mechanical noise from equipment in the alley behind and next to the building. The walls are very thin so you hear a lot from the adjoining rooms, particularly when someone has come back late from the pubs and is rather boisterous.

Pros: Location was really good and the place was very clean. If you wanted to eat meals at the hostel and spend a lot of your time there, it's a nice place for that, although overpriced as far as hostels go (even in Dublin). Definitely a party hostel but I was just surprised at how expensive it is.

Pros: Based on the price point we got it at, it was a great stay. We stayed in a 6 bed unit which was surprisingly comfortable.
The hotel bar was good, and great atmosphere while the Eurocup was on.
Overall the place was always clean, lots of staff around which was nice.
The demographic was crazy... People of all ages which was fantastic!
It couldn't be closer to Jameson.
Great bars and restaurants around it as well.
It's about a 15 minute walk to temple bar area.
10 minute walk to Guinness.

Pros: The staff here is absolutely wonderful and very friendly! You can ask for suggestions on places to go and things see and to do and they give out detailed descriptions on what you should expect to experience at each destination! The Night Staff was equally wonderful! To my surprise the night guards/security we're very friendly and helpful and happy to give good directions to near by places. The bartenders are cheerful, funny and have great suggestions for local restaurants and nightlife activities. The reception team is outstanding! They are warm and welcoming and available 24/7! They can help you with any delemas or concerns may come up during your stay. On my next trip to Dublin I will stay at the generator and the staff has a HUGE part to play in desire to book a room with the generator again!

Cons: The bar as good as it is, a bit of a tourist trap... It shouldn't be €5-6 for a pint...
The rooms were hot as hell, the window barely opened and only at the end of stay did we find out we could request a fan...
Not much else to complain about.
6.0 Good
Pros: The facilities are modern and relatively clean. Rooms are well maintained and mattresses are pretty comfortable. The bar area is nice and live music is a plus. Building and rooms are also secure. Swipe cards are required to go anywhere and there’s security at the door.
Cons: Upon arrival, the staff was more concerned with being cool than with being courteous. Morning staff was much better. What rubbed me the wrong way about this place is that they fail to provide any kind of secure storage for even the smallest of items. There are lock boxes under the beds, but require you bring your own padlock or pay a ridiculous amount of money to use the luggage storage in the basement. Plan ahead or snuggle your valuables. Also, no outside food is allowed. Strange for a hostel. The reason given is that plenty of food is available on site for purchase. Most things on the menu were expensive for a backpacker. The restaurants and supermarket across the way are the best options. Also, the provided shower gel dispenser is always empty and make sure you double check the toilet paper before you sit down. This place clearly has its eye on being trendy to attract the young, party crowd. It’s nothing similar to what backpackers are used to from every other hostel on the planet and fails to provide the community experience and chance to meet new people that solo travelers look for. Considering the price isn’t even on the lower end, there are better places in Dublin.

Pros: Location and atmosphere were fun.
Cons: I can’t say too much here since it IS a hostel, but the walls and doors are very thin and you can hear the loud, drunk patrons coming in all night. It made for a good daytime nap, but not the best nights sleep.

On my next trip to Dublin I will stay at the generator and the staff has a HUGE part to play in desire to book a room with the generator again!
Cons: The only things that I can complain about is the fact that the laundry room often has a line waiting because the dryers take too long to dry. Just for one load it can take up to two to three hours before your clothes become dry, but even then they may not be dry and this leaves people will still be waiting to take their turn while their clothespecially sit soaking wet. Also the bar could be open later.

Pros: The staff on reception were all very pleasant and extremely helpful. The location was perfect for us, close to the gig venue we were booked for. It was reasonably priced for Dublin (but not cheap), comfortable and clean. Beds and towels were fine.
Cons: The shower room bathroom was overlooked by another building (hotel?) with no curtain on the window. The frosted glass allowed for privacy from the ground floor level but not from the five stories looking down on us. Breakfast choices were pretty limited.
7.1 Good
Pros: I waa given bottom bunk which was OK. I was lucky our dorm was quiet. Staff were nice
Cons: At 11pm you are shut out of seats and kitchen. No where else to go. Hense people eating and drinking in dorms which should not be allowed. Washing machine broken so could not get clothes washed.. A lift would be useful as it's a long haul 3 flights of stairs. It's a old building in serious need of update in regards to carpets floors etc

Pros: Really friendly staff, the bed was confortable
Cons: The showers and toilets were dirty and the kitchen was a bit of a mess in the midle of the day.

Pros: Kinlay house is located in a great area, near many of Dublin's main sights. I would definitely stay here again. Never felt unsafe or uncomfortable.
Cons: The rooms were a tad cold, as well as the bathroom. The cleanliness of the bathroom was also not the best. Someone had thrown up in the bathroom, and it was left for most of the day.

Cons: I didn't like that the room was very noisey there was constrction fumes from the constrction site coming into out room. On top of that there was drilling noise coming from upstairs. The manager offered one extra hour for check out and breakfast that tasted bad and was undercooked and raw. Clearly the staff does not care about providing outstanding service. I live in Dublin so I know how all this work. So please any people traveling to Dublin avoid this place and book somewhere else so many other good hotels for cheaper and better and more modern. And they should of just notify us regarding the noise in check in not telling me that the information is on booking.com and everything would of be fine. Manager is incompetent and should be

Pros: The location is great, the room was clean and comfortable the staff pleasant
Cons: I felt at times like I was in a foreign country with regard to the bar staffs knowledge of the local cuisine and drinks for instance the tea was not served the way irish people drink it in general and you had to ask for milk. The seating in the lobby is unsuitable for older people or anyone with mobility problems, also the fact that there is no toilet facilities at ground level is very annoying
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was amazing! We were only there for a short time, but we were able to walk pretty much everywhere
Cons: The bathroom was very out-dated. The tub was chipped in many places. The shower head was very high up and almost facing the wall, but it was too high to reach to fix it. The sink had a hot water faucet with its own spout and a cold water faucet with it’s own spout, making washing up extremely difficult!! Also there was a vent that came on when the bathroom door was opened and it blew the shower curtain into the tub, so it would stick on my body while i was in the shower, which is kind of gross.

Pros: This hostel is GREAT if you want to have a place to stay in the middle of the party. clean beds at a cheap rate. nice staff. I suggest paying for a 4 bed dorm and not the 10 dorm. 10 was just too many people. The room was hot and 1 small bathroom.

Pros: Very good location, and the bar in the first plant is great! Building has a lift that is really helped to don't carry your luggage up stairs. Room with personal bathroom was clean, in general all hostal is clean.

4.6 Okay
Pros: The hostel is located in the very centre of the city, near the Temple Bar and there are big rooms.
Cons: There are no curtains or blinds so all the light goes inside the room. It was impossible to take a shower because the toilet/shower room was too cold all the time and the room too. The "breakfast" was very small and there was not a great choice. It's written in the description that they have a baggage storage but it's not true, they accept ONLY the arrival's baggages, so we had to pay a baggage storage in the centre of Dublin when we left the hostel because we had to leave in the evening. They didn't give us any towel anyway.

Pros: Nice reception, nice location, nice foods, nice room, nice bathroom, nice price I don't deserve it Thanks Gogartys May the force be with you

Cons: Very uncomfortable beds. Dust in the rooms and very cramped.

Pros: The property was centrally located, so easy to get to and navigate around.
Cons: The beds are arranged horribly, I had someone's feet in my face all night. The bed had springs poking me in my back and the breakfast is served only from 8 AM onwards, so those who start their day earlier are forced to loose out. This information was not available prior to check in, so it's misleading.

Pros: It was walking distance to Trinity College, Temple Bar and many of the sites in Dublin.
Cons: This place was disgusting! The room was dirty, the bathroom smelled moldy and the carpet was so nasty, we were afraid to walk on it without shoes. Additionally, we almost got stuck in the lift because it was broken, but no one bothered to put up a sign! We were there for 3 days, and it was broken the entire time we stayed there. We never saw any maintenance people even attempting to repair it. This place was not family friendly as indicated!!
