Pros (+) Location was good, airlink & hop on hop off stop just outside, Temple bar only 10 minute walk away, food was excellent, breakfast & lunch & evening menu, concierge was helpful, luxurious / boutique feel downstairs but not in the rooms, 12pm check out & breakfast till 11am at weekends was good.
Cons (-) Bathroom was dirty, lighting was poor in the rooms, shower was rubbish, reception was slow, messed up our key cards & we had to go back to a massive queue to get them authorised & reception thought it was funny but it was a waste of our time. Tea / coffee in rooms poor, rooms not 4 star, dirty windows, building work being done so noisy, the lift is so slow!

Pros (+) We stayed in one of the Georgian sweets which unfortunately didn't have an elevator but the concierge was amazing, from bringing out bags up to valeting the car to calling a cab for us to go enjoy the city. Beautiful room very comfortable bed and huge bathroom.

It seemed like the staff was more interested in talking to eachother than helping us, and when I finally flagged the bartender down he asked us if we were in a hurry, not the kind of service you would expect from a hotel of this status. Pros (+) Location was great--close enough to walk to Temple Bar, Trinity College and many other points of interest. Staff was very helpful--upgraded our room without any trouble when we expressed our disappointment in our "superior" room. Breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful and the one dinner we had there was very good.
Pros (+) The purple lobby and hallways are rather awesome. The breakfast set up is well done.
Cons (-) Garish, uncomfortable rooms located directly over a firestation where a fire engine runs 24/7. On a busy weekend, sirens go off regularly, pigeons fly in the window if you ppem it and the staff are harried.
