Tried to correct a mistake
Phone app or I made a mistake and two nights not one were booked. Hotel was great but Kayak only refunded me $118.00 instead of the full $154.00. Blamed it on the hotel charging more for first night, even though app shows $154.00 for both nights. Could not find phone number on app to call immediately when I saw a confirmation of 2 nights . Got number from hotel who where great to deal with. Calling direct to hotels next time. customer service on Kayak app was horrible
Hotel was clean and in a nice location downtown
Many things in the room weren't working -- phone couldn't call out or down to front desk, fridge didn't cool properly, linens closest was locked shut, etc.
The staff were great, the rooms were very clean and we'll kept, all in historic downtown dubuque. A very enjoyable experience even though it was bussiness.
