Pros (+) Bed was comfortable. Did not spend a lot of time in the room other than to sleep.
Cons (-) Have free snacks instead of paying for them. Take the booze out and offer free water and snacks.

Pros (+) Pretty hotel with historical character
Cons (-) Found underwear on the floor of our room upon check in. Front desk woman gave us a different room but wasn't especially concerned or apologetic. Second room was on a lower floor and was quite loud throughout the night.

Pros (+) We very much enjoyed our stay at the Julien and will stay again. The location was excellent for walking to various bars, nightclubs and gambling as well as several excellent local food establishments in the area. Everything worked out perfectly for us.
