Friendly staff, cleanliness and attention to detail
Bathroom rather small
Very comfortable and beautifully furnished. Owners and staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Perfect location for a visit to Edinburgh.
Location of bus stops for easy, quick and cheap access to Edinburgh. Breakfast room was cosy and cooked breakfast was good. Owners very friendly and helpful.
Room had a sky light window, no view.
Good food , clean accomodation
Room was cold , information about the hotel was non-existent and proprietor was poor at communication (E.G. we thught he was guest on arrival !) and because heating wasa not on before our arrival we spend the afternoon under the duvet before getting ready to go out in the evening.
Clean, friendly. Good food
The location of the hotel was very central to the city and outlying areas. We liked the casualness and friendly atmosphere. The hotel was clean and the gardens were beautiful. (And, we loved Brachen.)
A clean and welcoming lodge and an incredibly warm & friendly host. The b&b was a relaxing respite from our busy holiday.
Friendly staff, very welcoming, exellent breakfast and clean rooms. Just the right distance for us to walk to and from the centre.
None - other than the dog if you're allergic to dogs as my husband is. Might have been helpful to mention that the owners have a (well controlled) dog on the website as although we really enjoyed our staff and the hotel was spotless he suffered an allergic reaction and had to to take medication for this.
