nothing to report
It isn't a real Hotel , it is like a big B&B with only a reception. PAY ATTENTION.....there is no LIFT!! there is no LIFT!! there i no LIFT!! If are on the 4 floor .........good luck!!
The room was the thing I liked the most, it was little but the bed was pretty good and it was clean. The location was very centric too, so that´s another good thing if you want to book this hotel. The bath and shampoo and soap were good too, smelled nice. The shower had good water pressure and I particularly enjoyed it.
Sometimes the wifi ran very slow. There was no minifridge in the room, bummer because we needed it. There was no parking available, but when I called the number provided by their booking page at our arrival a lady told me that sometimes they have parking space and that I should go ask at the reception. The lady from reception treated me very bad, she was extremely rude to me, treated me like I was inventing things and looked at me over her shoulder. She did no effort to understand my spanish accent and acted like she couldn´t understand me. I mean, I do science in cancer research and I speak perfect English...C´mmon! The whole situation put me in a bad mood Fortunately, we went to park the car and when we went back to the hotel, other guy at the reception was very nice to us, even asked us about our Edinburgh plans and about our roadtrip and gave us advices. There was no lift and room was situated 3rd floor, it should be properly advertised, since I had knee surgery three months and still have difficulties with the stairs. There have to be better places to stay in Edinburgh
Great location for the Fringe venues. Breakfast was an added bonus.
Stayed on the 4th floor so a lot of stairs, but was told there was no lift. The bed was partially situated under the sloping roof, so even though I tried to be careful, still banged my head twice
Nice clean compact rooms you get what you see on website. Close to city centre good location for exploring Edinburgh.
No air conditioning so found the room very warm. Also the reception area and where you had your breakfast were seperate to where the rooms are which was a bit weird for a hotel but not too much of big deal.
