The location was perfect for what we did. The main thing was the gentleman behind the counter who checked us in. His name is kyle, (not sure how it's spelled) and he was the best, friendly, helpful. And the lady there on the weekend, was always pleasant. It is an older motel, but was up-dated and it's nice for the price.
The continental breakfast could have been a little better with a better variety of choices. Also it would have been nice if there was a small fridge in the room.
I liked the handicap room the best. It was equipped with a shower chair as well as the hand held shower head. It also had more than enough hand bars to get into the shower to make one feel safe.
The only thing about the room I didn't like was the mattress. It was dished and we rolled to the middle and that made for difficulty getting up and out of the bed.
the smell of the room when first entered was overwhelming with room cleaning scent. terrible. no shampoos or soap for shower, noisy a/c turning on and off all night and street noise. the breakfast was very limited and stale looking and tasting and limited choices
It was clean and thus able to sleep not having to think about catching some disease which is a huge plus!!!!! I “liked” that I didn’t have to sleep in a smoke filled “non smoking” room....
Supposed to be non smoking motel...I mean hotel, but they had people staying there who had chairs sit and smoke right out side their room which was being sucked right into my room making the room and me reek of smoke. Man I love that! :/ Had to shut the AC off. Tried to get moved to another room but couldn’t get ahold of anyone. Finally got ahold of the attendant moved to a room that the AC didn’t really work...but hey...I didn’t smell like smoke. Breakfast was not that great.
Friendly staff, clean room and comfortable bed.
