Nice atmosphere, lively and welcoming staff, good location for Ely.
Ventilation of dining room, unless the door was open.
Bed was hard, doors to other units started banging at 6 am constant until after 7 am. A lot of mould in the bathroom.
Big room, comfy bed, lovely village and friendly and welcoming staff.
Pub was a little rowdy saturday night and our room was above it all
One staff member a young lady was brilliant really helpful with great customer service
Property and food is nothing like what’s shown on the website, although no complaints with the food itself it seemed to take on a average 1 hour to be served for standard chicken and chips/burgers etc. Was expecting so much more. Rooms need TLC but comfortable.
Location was perfect, visiting a friend and the Wake Park. Beautiful little garden and seating area outside. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, it’s not a 24hr reception but even late at night they did what they could to help, really made the stay very nice and personal. I would happily stay there again.
Perhaps a little updating, lick of paint would improve it no end.
