Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Epe-Zwolle

The location is stunning! The Fletcher is surrounded by woodlands with a wonderful shady and quiet sitting area outside the restaurant. With the surrounding woods, an outside play area, bowling alley and swimming pool this is the perfect place to visit with small children. The staff were all wonderful and friendly. We had to delay our trip by a day and they went out of their way to make sure we had enough space and sleeping arrangements for the children.

We don’t drive so it was tricky (and expensive) to get to. We also visited during a heat wave and without air con in the rooms it got pretty hot.

Great location, tucked away in the woods. Very quiet and calm. Great starting point for long bicycle rides in the region. Nice pool which allowed us to cool down during the 2019 summer heat wave. We were lucky to have a room on the 1st floor with a big tree in front of our only window very very close, so no sun directly in the room, which kept the room cool. Staff was kind to provide us with ice.

Bathroom was small but had everything. We were on the 1st floor with a big tree completely blocking the view of the surrounding woods but this was actually a bonus to keep the room cool during the 2019 summer heat wave, as there was no airco in the room.

A superb location, just outside the forest. The staff we came across, in the bar, in the restaurant and the receptionists, especially the gentleman on the night shift, are really kind and helpful. Our room was indeed small - a small double room - but felt and looked clean and had a good lay-out. The check out at 11.00 was just perfect.

We were slightly puzzled by a machine in the pool table/bowling room downstairs. It seemed to be on all the time and made the room even hotter than it already was. We were also missing a anti mosquito net on the window of our top floor room-the room is hot and although you can open the window wide, there is no net on it.

Quiet location, nice walks in the woods. Great value for money.
