Pros:The bed was great. Rooms were clean and comfy.
Cons:Rooms were small. I wanted to upgrade to a beach front, but realized the water is really about a three block walk from the back of the hotel. Pincher's food mediocre. The bucket drinks were terrible. Too sweet. Looks like a lot of locals hang out in the Tiki Bar. Lots of other better hotels.

Pros:This was exactly what we were looking for...a larger than expected room (2 Double Beds), large balcony overlooking a HUGE, white sand beach, BIG TV, tile floor, sparkling clean pool with plenty of chairs & tables to accommodate everyone, immaculate grounds, wonderful staff that would go out of their way to make your stay better, live music nightly during happy hour, great food & drinks at Pinchers, location was excellent with a CVS across the street and a 7-11 two doors down, restaurants within a 5 minute stroll, picture perfect sunsets, clean beach. This "gem" of a property is located between the high rise condos and truly felt cozy and accommodating to my family. We will definitely be coming back

Cons:Look of the building -- it looks old and not different than any cheap motel. Front desk attendant - Not friendly, not welcoming. Beach front - there was stagnant water between hotel and the beach, which produced a very bad odour.

Cons:We got stuck in a poolside/barside room with a band that had a sound system that was more appropriate for Yankee Stadium. We were told that they would quit by 8:00 PM. The desk clerk who tod us this lied - the band finally stopped a bit after 9:00, and only then because it started to rain on them. It was deafening inside our room, which we had booked for one night to celebrate our 44th anniversary. We would never go there again.

Pros:This hotel is an older three story rooms around a pool design. It is about six miles south of the entrance to Ft. Myers Beach. This keeps you away from busiest part of Fort Myers Beach and close to southern attractions including Lovers Key State Park. This hotel includes a Pinchers Crab Shack with both indoor seating and a very nice open-air Tiki Bar right by the pool.
Cons:The draft beer selection in the Tiki Bar was very limited and during my stay only included two choices: Yuengling and Miller Lite. A broader variety and draft craft beer choices would add to the attraction.
