7.5 Good
Pros: I cannot add to the excellency of the reviews of this Bed and Breakfast. I can only reiterate that Kelleigh and Dave are as warm and hospitable as everyone says they are. Kelleigh is an energetic host who made us feel immediately welcome and comfortable. The three course gourmet breakfast, which was one of the reasons we chose Brewster House, exceeded our expectations and made our stay as memorable as any I could imagine! Freeport, ME, is a better place for having a Bed and Breakfast like this! Lovely bathroom and bedroom accomodations were icing on the cake. We were guests on an icy cold winter day with snow sparkling outside the dining room window. The dining room itself was charming and sunlit. It was a little bit of heaven for the dining experience alone! You don't have to be a Freeport shopper to want to come here! I would love to have tarried a few more days in this charming inn, and missed the opportunity to relax in the comfortable room with a gas fireplace, which was situated next to the dining room.
Cons: I have nothing negative to report.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcome by charming and helpful owners. Clean, spacious, well appointed room, including hooks in the bathroom (something sadly lacking from many B&Bs and hotels). Short walk to LL Bean, shopping and restaurants. Delicious, complete breakfast, served graciously.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The gourmet breakfast was amazing and Dave and Kelleigh are wonderful hosts
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A wonderfully warm welcome, great location and the most amazing breakfast
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Inn was very comfortable. Kelleigh and Dave made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to be sure we had everything we needed to make our stay relaxing and fun. The breakfast we were served on our two mornings could not be topped! Dave is an excellent chef using the freshest local ingredients available. His creativity with breakfast food made our breakfasts Top Chef worthy. Kelleigh timed all our courses perfectly. She was so attentive but not intrusive. She offered recommendations for local points of interest and nice restaurants to have dinner. By the time we left we felt more like family! We will definitely come back to Brewster House Bed and Breakfast. Thank you Kelleigh and Dave!
Cons: I can't think of anything I did not like about our stay. It was perfect!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The innkeepers were super friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were fantastic!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Dave and Kelleigh are wonderfully warm and inviting. They provided fantastic accommodation, they knew their area very well and the service is just above and beyond. We loved our room which was meticulously kept, and the cosy lounge for after hours. The breakfasts are insanely good!
Cons: Freeport is beautiful but not a place to go if you want to have nights out involving drink. You are limited in that sense because you need a car to get everywhere, and all of Freeport closes relatively early.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: David’s three-course breakfasts are amazing and delicious. The Inn is so tastefully decorated. The Inn is also Home to the owners Kelleigh and David. They are both a delight.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic Beers honor to taste after long drive

Pros: The accommodations were great. Nancy made an amazing breakfast the morning after we got there. She accommodated our special dietary needs to a T! She made a great breakfast scramble, the most delicious crem brule, and banana muffins. She also made us some gluten free brownies to snack on before bed. Water, tea and coffee were readily available and very appreciated. Mark was very friendly and personable and made great recommendations.
Cons: I know we weren't there for the tv, but the tvs were tiny. It would also be great if there could be "modern" conveniences such as USB plugs for devices.

Pros: I loved our rooms, Bathrooms were so nice, beds were really comfy and the pillows were just so soft! Then we were greeted so nicely by an employee Jeff. He made sure everything was to our liking and if we needed anything to let us know. We were here for a wedding so they were very pleasant with anything. Saying Hi welcome back each and every time we left the hotel.
Cons: I did not like the service during breakfast. one of the ladies just seemed overwhelmed when it got busy and she didn’t wear gloves when she was pouring more batter into the holders for the waffle iron and it got all over her hand and it was just messy, But this was the only thing that was bad.
9.5 Excellent

Cons: Poor lighting in the room and limited storage for clothing.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and competent staff.
Cons: Indoor pool was lacking in decor. Perhaps opening a seasonal wall onto the patio would make it more attractive.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The room was clean and well furnished.
Cons: The most disturbing aspect was the train track that was 50 feet outside my window. Every couple of hours a train went by shaking the room. Why would anyone build a hotel immediately next to an active train track? This reminded me of a cheap comedy film!
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Great staff, cleanliness, free breakfast was delicious. Location was perfect for our needs. Will visit you again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are beautiful and outdoor seating/lounge area was perfect.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location was great, staff was friendly
Cons: We were given a room with water leaking from the bathroom above. This had to have been known by them ahead of time because they left a little bucket in front of the toilet . In the morning we went into the bathroom and the floor was soaking wet, water was dripping from the vent above. Could not use the toilet without getting wet. Was told we’d get 50% off of room but because it was a 3rd party booking we need to talk to booking.com
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was wonderful and even if you did not include it in booking, price was fair for quality of the food. Location is great. Able to walk to many activities.
Cons: Need firmer pillows.

Pros: Clean, good beds
Cons: No elevator. Skimpy breakfast. Gives bus tours preference on rooms. Senior citizens had to carry own luggage up steps to second floor, bus people had the first floor rooms, even tho they didn’t arrive till late. Place is too far outside of Freeport.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: There were many nooks and crannies where you could sit and meet with other guests besides the standard amenities

Cons: Maybe serve hot eggs
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Casco Bay Inn has been our "first night stop" for at least ten years on our annual trip to Maine. Although under new ownership it continues to offer the same quality and warmness as always. We will definitely be calling to make our 2017 reservations in January

Pros: The location was fine. Glad there was coffee, all else pales! Wish it had been available all day.

Pros: Our room was very clean and basic amenities were great. Staff was very pleasant. We left a cell phone behind and they were very helpful in retrieving it. Would highly recommend the Freeport Inn and would stay again when in the area.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The front desk clerk was very nice and helpful.
Cons: There were dirty towels hanging on the door in the bathroom when we arrived. Also, the entrance to the second building, across the pond, was very dark. The back parking lot could have better lighting.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great Staff! Very helpful with late checkout- no problem!!! Muddy Rudder Restaurant, easy walk from motel Easy drive to beach2beacon 10k
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room looked like it was recently updated which is nice to see. The carpet looked very clean and that tells you a lot about the cleanliness of a room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Its 100% dog-friendly and the rooms did not smell!
Cons: The beds were not the most comfortable but they worked for the price level.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was updated, cute and exceeded our expectations.
Cons: No. All was perfect!!
4.5 Okay
Cons: Worn out and dirty carpets on hallways. Sticky and slippery floor inside bedroom, old dirty carpet inside bedroom. Muggy humid bedroom, air conditioning not working, not cooling good. Very unusual for a hotel in Maine.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The beds were very comfortable with nice sheets. The room was spacious and the Housekeeping was excellent. The location is convenient to Freeport and Portland for shopping and great restaurants!
Cons: I do have one (and I consider major) complaint that was a daily irritant. There is no mirror to check one's appearance when leaving for the day! The only mirror is over the Bathroom sink and all you can check is from the bust-line up (I'm short) I may be wrong....but most women want to check their"look" A mirror on the inside of the bathroom door would be a huge plus!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We’ve been staying here for years and love the location. It helps break our drive between Virginia and Moosehead Lake each summer. Rooms are comfortable and well kept.
Cons: Would love to have access to view Boston Red Sox games via the Inn’s Satellite TV service. Also, though the facility is pet friendly you may have a room that requires climbing stairs. If that’s a problem for your pet; ask for a ground level room when making your reservation.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing really.
Cons: Cleaning! Flea checks!
5.5 Okay
Pros: rooms were clean
Cons: expensive, floors were very slippery when wet (out of shower), could only find a room with double beds, and husband rolled over and fell out of bed.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Staff were great. Check-in and check-out was fast and efficient. The muddy rudder was fantastic.
Cons: We stayed in a building off of the property. If we wanted to use the pool we would have had to drive back to it. The room had an awful odour. Very dated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location and price
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was comfortable, and the sheets towels and bathroom are clean. It’s sitting by purposes for the brief time I was there.

1.0 Poor
Cons: Room smelled like a dog. Air conditioning unit was filled w/ animal hair. Would suggest housekeeping to use a shop vacuum everywhere in room 118. Shower head had pink mold. Overall experience was awful.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: I forgot some clothing when I had to leave in a hurry due to a family emergency, and they kindly collected my things and helped me get them back.
Cons: It was pricey for a 2 star motel. The staff was great though, so it made up for it.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location was good. Price was good and the bed was comfortable. We liked that it had continental breakfast available.
Cons: Cleanliness and the dated shower and fan. The only ice available was on the 2nd level and it is hard for us to do stairs. There was no elevator because all room access was on the outside which is okay.
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful, check in was easy. The coffee was good, I liked that I was on the first floor easy access to room from vehicle.
Cons: The floors were really dirty, had a shower but didn't realize when I walked on the floors my feet stuck to them and I had to re-wash my feet before getting into bed because they were black. To bad because everything else wasn't bad - but that make you wonder how clean the room really was? Did they change the sheets? Were the towels used by someone else? It freaks you out when you start thinking that way. That was my male friend asking the questions so that has to be bad.
5.0 Okay
Pros: I only liked the location.
Cons: The room smelled like marijuana, the bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke and there were bugs on the bathroom floor. They had Direct TV but only a few channels available.
4.3 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was awful and the breakfast room cramped and stuffy - that's the kindest thing I can say!
Cons: Obscenely overpriced.
5.5 Okay
Pros: It seems to be a "standard" breakfast that is present at several places I have stayed at.
Cons: The person in the room next to me had no control of her dog, and the dog ran outside and attacked my toy poodle. Unbelievable, and it was heard by staff how DID NOT WANT TO BE INVOLVED.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Econolodge was neat, clean and easily accessible. The staff member we dealt with was friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and the hotel is walking distance from two good restaurants. All in all, a great stay!
Cons: Everything was fine.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good enough. Not exciting.
Cons: Nighttime noise - mostly this has to do with other guests not being aware that some people prefer quiet after midnight. A quiet hours policy could help. On the whole, I felt the room was over-priced.
6.8 Good
Pros: location. Bed was comfortable. It was clean and fairly quiet. Hostess was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Bathroom door did not close. Sheets did not stay on bed. curtains needed replacing. I was hoping for a better breakfast. I need to have more protein such as an egg in the morning.
4.3 Okay
Cons: Dirty room, smelled musty. Toilet seat was broken, furniture was old and filthy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Much better than many EconoLodges.
Cons: Breakfast was just okay, but adequate. Not logically laid out.
