Inspired by all things Jimmy Buffett, the Margaritaville Beach Resort Grand Cayman Hotel offers exceptional hospitality, modern amenities, and a laid back vibe.
Located on the private beach cove at the beginning of Seven Mile Beach in the Cayman Islands, the resort offers an array of amenities for guests to enjoy, including four swimming pools, a private beach, Parakeet’s Kids Club, Live Life Like a Song retail store, indoor and outdoor meeting facilities, and live entertainment featuring local acts. The resort hosts various live bands such as Dr. Bob’s Experiment. Guests will enjoy a nightly change in the line-up that features rock, country, reggae, Latin and others. The resort also offers bike rentals, snorkel gear, paddleboards, and kayaks.
Accommodations are a mix of relaxing island-vibe and luxurious comfort. All room open to a private balcony that overlooks the sub-tropical surroundings. Room amenities include free wifi, 5” LCD Flat-screen HD TVs, walk-in showers, high-speed wireless internet, contemporary wood desk with data ports, in-room safe, Keurig® coffee makers, irons & ironing boards, and West-Indies style wet bar with in-room cooler.
The resort features several on-site restaurants. Eating House 1503 is the resort's signature restaurant and offers steak and seafood entrees. 5 o’Clock Somewhere is the poolside bar and grill where guests will find the resort's namesake margarita. Frank and Lola's is the perfect spot to chow down homemade pizzas and gelatos. Spread Bistro offers delicious homemade breakfast pastries, sandwiches and fresh coffee, and the License to Chill lobby bar is the ideal place to enjoy a signature cocktail.

Pros (+) The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. Love the swim up bar!!

Cons (-) Treasure island is uninhabitable. They are tearing it down and the construction workers are living in the hotel. Everything was disgusting! The room that they did give us was filthy with pubic hairs on the bed! This hotel should not be available for booking.
Pros (+) I liked that it was much cheaper than other properties nearby (for a reason though - see negative comments). I like the location and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was in great shape. I like having the convenience of the little grocery store in the lobby area.
Cons (-) I didn't like that there was no wifi in the rooms, and that the wifi in the lobby was not reliable. There were several things about the hotel and our room that were just run down - sliding door to balcony didn't work properly, no sink stopper, no blow dryer, phone didn't work, elevator was very dirty. To be fair, they are going through a renovation, so depending on how much $$$ they're putting in ...
