C$ 187+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at The Stone Hedge Bed and Breakfast in Richmond, you'll be a 5-minute drive from Richmond Centre Mall and 8 minutes from Richmond Night Market. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary at scheduled times.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Brian was very friendly and made me feel at home from the start. Room and bathroom were spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Although about 15 minutes from YVR it was absolutely quiet. Great place to stay. Brian even gave me his homemade crab apple jelly which I really like!
Cons: I can't think of anything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pretty much everything was better than I expected. After staying a night at stone hedge, hotels should reduce prices by 75% to remain in business. I’ll seek out this style of life on every future trip if at all possible, and a high bar has been set!
Cons: No fault of anyone and not a complaint but the 2nd and 3rd “reminder” email of the reservation didn’t mention the check in time of 1600 hours local. I arrived at a typical 11:30. My plan was to confirm the location and leave our luggage. The staff adapted for us quite well!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was an absolutely outstanding, multi-course delight - thank you, Linda. The magnanimous other host (Brian) picked us up from the bus we took after departing the ferry and the next day took us to the airport. Comfortable bed. Friendly, engaging and interesting host.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Brian and Linda are excellent hosts and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable as well as going the extra mile so we could get to transportation hubs.

Pros: Fantastic stay ! They had an offer to upgrade to the gold floor with oversized room and ensuite with hot tub. The room also overlooked the runway with floor to ceiling windows and we had lounge access for appetizers then dessert then a full breakfast which was delicious. Service levels from the staff were 5 star and everyone went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction.
Cons: Nothing. It was an excellent experience.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: A few items needed attention. Reading light bulb burned out, loose handle on bathroom door.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was great. Comfy beds, separate shower & tub. Despite being at the airport, the soundproofing was effective, it was quiet. We had a morning flight & the check in area was right next to the hotel entrance. Very convenient! It was also near the Skytrain station, making it a breeze to go exploring downtown.
Cons: Can't think of anything!

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, my flight got in at midnight. What a pleasure to walk through the terminal to my hotel instead of the usual hassle of taxi or rental car or public transit at a late hour in a strange town.
Cons: I was excited to use the pool before heading to meetings in the morning, but it was the size of a bathtub.

9.7 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very responsive to all questions, and made me right at home. The room and house were very clean and comfortable. The owner even helped me with scheduling an early morning taxi on my last day.
Cons: The location was just over zoning lines for taxi fares from the airport so the cost was a little more expensive. This wasn't a deal breaker.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I missed my flight and suddenly needed a place to stay safely near YVR airport. Immediate and excellent help was provided to solve all my trouble at the time. I will select first the Teresa's House when I transit at YVR airport next time again! Excellent service was offered for young passenger travel alone (miminum age 18).
Cons: There was no free shuttle but pick-up service was arranged immediately. There was no dinner, breakfast available but I could buy food and drink at the airport before pick-up, snack & drink was available in the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Continental breakfast-homemade breads, muffins, fruit and cereals were excellent. Overall stay was comfortable....
Cons: A malfunction in the heating system could have been a problem but was quickly rectified to provide us with an alternate heat source.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: I don’t have anything to complain about.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location for catching the BC ferries or airport. Loved visiting the historic Steveston.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: 7km to airport and a thirty minute walk to the supermarket and restaurants. Plenty of parking if you drive. Teresa has three bedrooms but only one with ensuite. If you are happy to share then stay here. Teresa and husband are very friendly and carried our luggage up stairs and down to the car on checkout.
Cons: There is really nothing we didn't like.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I was very disappointed. It was advertised as a bed and breakfast. The comments on the web page said how much customers enjoyed meeting people over breakfast. There was no place on the web page that said there was no breakfast. We only learned of it when our confirmation was emailed to us. Not good enough. It left a sour taste in my mouth. It was a good property, good staff, good value that was tainted by not telling the whole truth.
Cons: See above!

Pros: The host is super nice! Room is clean and big. Location is convenient.

Pros: They have a shuttle to the airport that leaves every half an hour. But when we missed the shuttle, they paid to have a cab drive us over so we didn't have to wait another half hour until the next shuttle.
Cons: The name may be a little confusing since there is also a regular (non-express) holiday inn which otherwise has almost the same name.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean room. Good free breakfast. Secured parking with easy access to lobby
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good basic continental, good coffee. The rooms are immaculately clean. There is a weight scale by the front door to weigh luggage, very convenient. Good transport to airport too.
Cons: We found a nice Chinese restaurant across the hotel but We did not see any other restaurants for dinner. The costco across the street was very good for sodas and a quick pizza.

Pros: No issues with room or hotel staff or restaurant.
Cons: Though the hotel runs shuttle servic to YVR every 30 minutes...I was disappointed that there was not shuttle service from Bridgeport station approx. 6/10 of a kilometer away. We had to walk with our bags the 6/10 of a kilometer that was not an easy task!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stayed at the Westin the night before our flight which was an early morning flight. The staff was very friendly and accommodating; the restaurant food was very good; rooms were clean and the airport shuttle was right on time.

Pros: The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Easy for drop off & pick up. All very clean.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The shower was fantastic, the bedding super comfortable and the location "near" the airport was convenient.
Cons: The area around this hotel was not attractive and not near anything easily walkable. Construction everywhere- but I guess in a way that's Vancouver...
5.8 Okay
Cons: came into the hotel at 12:30 am and was given a room that vibrated. I thought it might be me because I had been travelling all day but when I tried to sleep the bed giggled. Front desk staff told me I got the last room. I called the desk and they came to room 307 and said 'yes, it is vibrating.' It seems they did have another room. Moved there at 2 am. Only five more hours to sleep before my next flight. When I check out they agreed to email my paid invoice but I had to call they next day to get it. Not impressed!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff on arrival. Had early morning start and Wally was very kind and made sure I had a hot drink before I left. Don't drink coffee so he made tea from the restaurant. Thanks again Wally
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room, the staff, and the location was great!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean, spaceous room. The bed was also good. Good dark gardines at the windows which stop light to get to the room. I was driving there from ferry terminal, so stopping to overnight was a good idea as I was coming back to the mainland at the night time, and the hotel is just in between the ferry terminal and the airport. the price was also good comparing to the other properties and midnught checkin time.
Cons: didnt really like the breakfast (even if this is for the money, it was a bit poor choice as for my taste). Maybe different people have different expecations, it's just me who is used to Nordic choices for the breakfast. Here it was possible to take a toast/cruisane, scrambled egg, sausage and oats. That costs 10 EUR.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to assist us
5.0 Okay
Cons: Very noisy guests and staff did nothing to stop or curtail noise.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall experience was amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a ample sized and the bed was very comfortable. Access to the business center at 12:30am was a life saver.
Cons: The only disappointment was the breakfast wasn't included in the price. A majority of airport hotels have breakfast included in the price as usually stays are for quick stays.
4.5 Okay
Cons: We paid over 250 US dollars to book one king bed room for one night but our experience could not be worse. First the front desk staff claimed we could only get a queen bedroom instead of what we booked king room. After we insisted, we finally got a king bedroom. As we have a busy schedule next day, we asked more once whether the room is quiet and he claimed it is very quiet. But it turned out the ice maker machine out of the room started to make very loud noises multiple times late night and early morning and all my family memembers were waken up multiple times as the result. Everyone was very sleepy in the morning and it is no exaggeration that our day is pretty much ruined.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was so clean and the staff was friendly .
Cons: No
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The facilities were great and the staff very accommodating and considerate of my circumstances. They have high quality pillows that did not give me neck pains or a headache.
Cons: For a pet friendly hotel, they had nothing to offer to accommodate my pet. I have stayed at other pet friendly hotels that had feeding dishes for me to use and a disposable litter box.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable.si
Cons: I found the booking in staff a bit off hand and the shuttle driver at night the same.

Pros: Nice location just out of main city (Vancouver) but with easy access via Skytrain. Complementary breakfast and comfortable rooms.

Pros: The location! Close to Vancouver w/o the traffic, w/ skytrain very close by. Also loved Crystal mall next door with lots of food options.
Cons: We had to get our key cards re-carded 2x during stay.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Overall it’s very clean and room is big. Stuff is nice.
Cons: The location is not that good, need to drive far to places of attraction. Also, there is construction nearby, the parking lot is a bit mess too.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: View is good location great beds are comfy.
Cons: Unfortunately the hot tub wasn't working. Otherwise a pretty good comfy stay
6.8 Good
Pros: Window view is very good, and we can see most of the city. It is also very close to the Mall we like to visit.
Cons: But I think our room is next to elevator. At night we can hear the elevator up and down noise during the sleep time. The Wifi is a little confusion to us till I asked the front desk people how to work it out later. I wish the person help us to check in can be more helpful at the beginning. Hilton reword is another issue that I haven't able to resolve yet even I have the reword number at the time to the front desk. I don't understand why the front desk said it was a third party issue on the Hilton rewords. Why they cannot do anything about it?

Pros: The hotel provides a satisfactory breakfast. There was a good selection of food items and were well laid out. We were happy with the breakfast.
Cons: The layout of the lighting at the bathroom mirror is not very good for anyone needing to shave or do make up. This seems to be a problem in many hotels. The use of paper plates and disposable cutlery creates a lot of unnecessary garbage. Regular dishes and cutlery would be preferable.

Cons: I didn’t like having to pay for coffee in the morning. It was good coffee but I didn’t always have change. There was an excellent vegan restaurant/coffee shop close by though. No elevator was missed for first and last day but otherwise stairs were fine.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view from our room was so good ! The bathrobes were so soft and comfy to be in. Everything you needed in one space.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Driving in Vancouver is nerve-wracking for many visitors (like me!) but the location was great and very easy to find. We were in and out of the city quickly and without any hassle. It was very close to the skytrain station, and the boardwalk and market were fun to explore, right outside of the Inn. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and everything was so clean. The staff were very helpful and cleared up a parking ticket issue for me. We'll definitely be back!!!
Cons: I can't think of anything I didn't like.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view with a balcony overlooking the Fraser River
Cons: The room was a bit small & my room had a connector door but I couldn't hear my neighbour.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The front desk clerk was a gem. The room and view were great for the actual two hours of daylight we got to see it in. The' hotel is actually in a fairly inconvenient location' and we generally stay downtown but had a wonderful experience the first time we stayed at the Inn. Thought it might work out for our trip this time but management doesn't seem to know how to creatively respond to a customers needs. (See below)
Cons: Arrived at 2:15 pm after a flight in form Vancouver Island to attend the Paul McCartney concert expecting to be able to check in to our room, relax for a couple of hours, change and head downtown on the Sky Train for the show returning around midnight. No access to room until after we had to leave for the concert and so were only able to store our bags and get into the room 'after we had been to our event at 12:15 am. Basically only got to sleep in the bed and then check out at 10 next morning..

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The view was excellent and the amenities around the hotel are amazing including the boardwalk trail! I was there to go to the BC Lions game at BC Place, the access to the Skytrain was the key to my staying at the Quay.
Cons: A little noisy at night with the bar close by, but other than that I have no complaints! I might add that being my first time at the Quay it was a little confusing finding the front entrance, more clearly marked 'LOBBY' would have helped.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are always very accommodating, knowledgeable with an, what can we help you with attitude. Love the location on the river and easy to get to, worry a central location.

7.5 Good
Pros: Perfect location, super easy access to shopping mall and public transport.
Cons: Despite my experience with other hotels in the past +25 years, this particular hotel does not keep luggage for their returning guests free of charge. This is the very first time after years of traveling in over 40 countries, staying in all kinds of 2-5 star accommodations, that I had this issue. So, if you think of staying here, then going off for a couple or few days, and return to stay at the same hotel, be prepared to to have to pay a fee per night and per piece. The reception consisted of a mix of very friendly and polite and not-so-friendly and barely polite people.
