9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was attentive and the service was excellent. The resort was not overcrowded and we liked the idea of having a reserved lounger which meant that you don’t have to wake up early to get the best spot by the beach.
Cons: I would have preferred for dinner to be included in the package, and maybe pay for drinks separately.
10.0 Excellent

We were there on our honeymoon.perfect place.perfect location.perfect service.we loved every single detail of this beautiful hotel.highly recommend this place.we also received gifts from the hotel.best regards from Mr & Mrs Sproesser

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing service, we were overwhelmed by the staff and the outstanding care they offered. One of the best experiences we’ve had, hard to top it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is perfect, quiet and a little bit on heaven in Mauritius
Cons: My only criticism is I feel the breakfast needs more things on the menu. As it’s a la carte it would be nice to have some interesting options to choose from other than the standard eggs and bacon.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: No water source in Toilet.

Pros: Check in and out was fast, bed is comfortable, we had a 1 bedroom villa with pool it was a large pool great for swimming, friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Breakfast is a set menu with a very small buffet which includes for example cereals, pastries and drinks, i stayed for 6 nights so it was boring to have the same breakfast

Pros: It’s really private and calm, the gardens are great and so are the rooms, staff and settings

Pros: Great hotel with all the trimmings. Attentive staff, good breakfast. Maya at the Spa is simply the best.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast good and facility excellent. Staff very friendly. Gardens and pools beautiful. Overall a really pleasant stay. Highly recommend.
Cons: Not applicable
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We wanted to escape from hot Europe and enjoy a bit of sun and tropical weather, combining with playing golf and tennis. Large area, good rooms, very nice vegetation and beautiful beach greatly fulfilled our expectations. Hospitality and professional behaviour of staff was amazing from check in to check out. We really liked Italian restaurant, where for our last night, they prepared a special dinner for us. But above everything we were extremely satisfied with our golf teacher Jocelyn. We spent three days together and with his help we made a big step forward in our knowledge and understanding of golf. All in all great vacation place.
Cons: What we did not like was the weather. We came just in the middle of cyclon and It was a bit to cold and windy. But the last day weather was great and Beachcumber stays in our mind as beatifull, sunny place.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was great and facilities are very nice. Staff also very helpful
Cons: It felt a little pretentious. The guys had to wear long trousers and covered in shoes to use any of the 4 on site restaurants. If that’s you, then that’s fine. I am more shorts and flip flops while on holiday in 25 degrees plus. The alcohol within the resort is about 3 times the price of restaurants just outside the resort which just seems over the top.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great service on the pool and wonderful beach. Mamed and Rajesh at the pool made our stay a pleasent one
Cons: unfriendly staff at hotel restaurant Oasis, staff at bar very slow.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous resort! Our room was awesome! We had the tropical junior suite and the outdoor shower was a sight to behold! Food was great and the town was just a short walk away for those times that we wanted to sample the local food. The staff was super friendly. The folks at the boathouse went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed all the water sports activities.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved every thing about this hotel.. The location, the view, the facilities, and specially the staff.. I was traveling alone (for the first time) and was really worried I get bored or lonely.. The staff made sure I felt at home.. I felt like I had family and friends there.. I would like to thank each and every one of them.. Specially Ms. Celine, she went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and made my stay amazing,, She also helped me book an amazing photo session with Mr. Nishan (from VIP Service photography).. He was very kind and patient with me and took wonderful photos that will keep these memories last forever.. Thank you Mr. Nishan, Thank you Ms. Celine, Thank you Mr. Chintoo, thank you Mr. Heymant and please forgive me if I forgot some names.. Thank you all, it was amazing..
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The beach villas were beautifully designed
Cons: The breakfast did not provide enough options for non vegan / vegetarians for example mushrooms, tomatoes, vegan sausage. Etc
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Pool wasn’t heated and therefore kids did not use it. Wasted money:( Also some hotel staff were too lazy to serve us. Felt like they were racist as We saw them go out of their way for the white coloured guests but pretended not to see us and when we requested a table by the pool they lied and said it was occupied. Only when another staff member ( manoj I think was his name) heard me challenge that it was not did he intervene and got us the table. He also kindly apologised for his colleagues behaviour.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Pool is great, beach is beautiful, staff is helpful and kind, except the people on reception, room has a lot of space. Surroundings of resort is beautiful.
Cons: Room has closet inside the bathroom, and the clothes start to have a strange humid scent, in the room there are no shelves or any place to put your things, and there are spots of paint left and no one cleaned it. On the reception person explained that if we want to have a room with the closet inside the bedroom it will be extra charged, and that they are “open concept of resort”. Attitude was bad, I don’t understand that I have to pay extra for such a normal thing like the closet in the room, but they did bring us humidity collector. We had an incident with a snake which fell from a roof of our balcony on the table where we had coffee. On reception they said that they don’t have snakes on Mauritius! Well, I didn’t bring the snake with me, so explanation was more than disappointing. I found on internet that they actually don’t have venomous snakes. Resort is in the middle of nowhere, and they take it as an advantage so the prices are not reasonable for a resort of that kind and concept. Between 15:00-17:00 you can get only pizza, and from 17:00-19:00 you can have a pancakes, no place for lunch in that time. Money doesn’t help, you have to wait for dinner. After 12 hours of flying didn’t felt happy spending my money there, comparing to Dubai resort, or resorts in Turkey, and many other places that we been, have no wishes to come back again. Not good value of money.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I booked at the Seapoint for my dad’s 60th birthday. My parents utterly loved it. The staff were so attentive, polite and always willing to help and go the extra mile. We would specially like to thank Vishnu, Atish, Manhav, Rajesh, Raj, Ishmael, Shravan, Parvesh, Pooja & Abisheik. On behalf of my parents Ranash and Resha Maharaj we would like to thank the staff for their excellent service!
Cons: Menu needs a bit more of varieties, soup, curry options and roasts.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is clean with good views and its right on the beach. Excellent breakfast is offered with very attentive staff. The hotel has a very good vibe with happy colours and good WIFI connection.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The first thing you notice upon your arrival to this hotel, is how welcoming and hospitable every member of the staff is. You really feel pampered from the get go. They have a nice restaurant, spa, and beach. Their facilities in general are very good and well-kept. I had a little maintenance issue, and usually this would be considered as a negative thing, but it always depends on how the facility management reacts to your inconvenience. In the case of Seapoint Hotel, their reaction showed how much they care about the comfort, indulgence, and satisfaction of their guests. Great management leading great staff. We really enjoyed our stay in this property.
Cons: The beach is a little bit smaller than what we expected, but it is nice and clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was paradise for a week. We liked the small size and therefore boutique feeling, the staff who truly tried to make our stay as best as they could, the food, the special little things such as the ‘towel friends’. We did some excursions with the catamaran to flat island, snorkeling, went by bike to mont choisy beach for some local vibes. Great tour of the south by Keetan. Had a fantastic time.
Cons: I’m thinking hard. Maybe smth different to add each day to the breakfast buffet as a suggestion. But really a suggestion, food was good.
7.1 Good
Pros: good facilities, nice room, staff is friendly. restaurant food is amazing, great breakfast. the swimingpool is heated and very clean.
Cons: the level of customer service is poor (definitively not up to 3 or 4 stars level...)and the size of the beach is very tiny not great for swimming...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Attention to detail by staff, good food, well maintained property, lovely views from all rooms, quiet and relaxing because it is a small boutique hotel just what we were looking for.
Cons: Not much could be improved for us.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Seapoint Boutique hotel is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Mauritius in couple, solo or as friends. Far from large industrial hotels, this place offers a high level of service, charm in great calm and peace. With the ultimate attention to satisfy customers, the entire staff: from welcome desk, to bar and restaurant up to Spa and managers - is simply fantastic and made my stay memorable. Rooms are very confortable and hotel facilities very appropriate for a relaxing stay. I wish you the same !
Cons: A bit more variety at breakfast. But that is a minor point.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We’ve been home for 3 weeks now, and not a day goes by that we don’t chat about how incredible our experience was at Seapoint. First off, the staff at Seapoint are amazing. Their focus everyday was to make sure we were comfortable and happy. We can’t thank them enough for the impeccable service we had - and for all our very special surprises - thanks Manav
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment you arrive all of the staff is friendly, helpful, and ready to make your stay the best possible! It’s located in a great area, near lots of beautiful beaches, shops and restaurants. The manager Vishnu was fantastic as was all of the staff! Wish we would have booked it for more days!
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Towel magic!!! And cocktail..and pool... everything was perfect.
Cons: Hm. Not cheap. But it worths!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed the stay. From getting a free upgrade to having really friendly and active service, everything was as we expected it. Thank you again, you made our stay.

Featured amenities include limo/town car service, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant food is amazing, service is excellent. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable.
Cons: The gym was a bit small, could have added some more equipments.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property is absolutely stunning. I went for a quick work trip so i did not had the time to enjoy the facilites. However, the staff of the bar and restaurant were absolutely adorable. The half board proposition makes the price more acceptable yet for a property of this standard the price is worth it. Just wished i would have stayed longer.
Cons: The rooms were very humid when I visited the property in June 2019. It was the rainy season, yet the A/C dehumidifier option was not sufficient.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The personal touch.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Just fabulous
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice intimate setting, caring and friendly staff. Good quality restaurant. Would come back!
Cons: Perhaps not the easiest starting point for a long walk to other places like restaurants or other places to go to.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We booked a three night stay at 20degrees sud and we were most impressed. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful (we were doing a little business in Mauritius and needed access to printing etc- very helpful). The food was of a high standard and our room was perfect- large, well furnished in a characterful style, with a direct view of the sea. One afternoon we borrowed the hotel bikes and went for a pleasant cycle around the coastal road. Also , this is not a money grabbing hotel. We had some friends over one morning and I ordered coffee etc for them and told the waiter to put it on the bill , but they gave it complimentary. They also let us have the room late on the day check out , at no extra cost. I will definitely use this hotel for my next stay in Mauritius.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice view goodBreakfast
Cons: Not to big nice n clean
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional boutique tailored care; kind friendly unobtrusive excellent food
Cons: Transportation to/from the hotel. Could do with a shuttle service from hotel to local sites; would pay for this as taxis are relatively expensive.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: loved the dining room and the private beach
Cons: room was a bit small
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I really liked the atmosphere - the smaller size yet with all the options you could want. Nice little beach with cocktails and snacks. The swimming pool is also excellent.
Cons: The weather was not that great which meant several of the organised excursions could not be done. I really wanted to go snorkelling but the trips were cancelled.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect!! I actually feel that the photos don't do this property justice as it is so idyllic. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Cons: The staff here were rather rude towards us, we were on the sun loungers and kept telling us that they were only for residents although we were. Also i called reception at 11.30 as i really needed water and they told me there was nothing they could do for me
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were incredibly helpful. We would like to thank Racheal, who looked after our booking and the girls on reception - Arnelle, Curby and Deborra. Thank you
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location and the ease of the place. Such value for money with an unbelievably friendly and efficient front of house (Wish I could remember her name!!). Room was comfortable, staff and security really nice, O wellness such a nice touch on the beach, perfect Trou Aux Biches spot along with wake boarding being included and the reef so close!! Such a win!! Has to be one of the best places to relax at on the island if you take everything into consideration!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Tranquil environment, friendly staff. Small hotel in a great location on a beautiful beach.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The Good - The property is right on the main road, easy to find, near the supermarket - large room and balcony The OK -They gave us a cake for my spouse's birthday. We didn't ask for one though - The location is on the beach
Cons: - The toilet is in the shower, which has wooden slats with 1cm gaps between the slats. The damp wood is odd to sit on while on the toilet - The kitchenette had square UK style outlets. The toaster and kettle provided have round plugs. What is even the use of providing these? - The noise from the road is pervasive. In room#6 someone on the ground near reception or from another room can see straight into the bathroom and room. -On the second morning I was there, a member of the staff approached me at the breakfast buffet and quite rudely asked me what room I was in. Then he repeated this in disbelief. -After I sat down at a plain unmarked table that nobody else was sitting at, I was asked to leave. I could see this member of the staff pointing at me from afar, instructing another man to ask me to move. I was told the table was "reserved" and that I must not sit there. There was no sign that the table was reserved . I have never been so humiliated in my life. No body said sorry. No body cared. I was left crying in the middle of the breakfast area, a plate of fruit in one hand and a man telling me to get up and move. In retrospect I should have had the courage to refuse, but i was too shocked and scared to say anything. Was my not being white the reason for this rudeness? Does Le sakoa not want non caucasian customers? Having been to 32 countries and enjoyed non-racist behaviour in all of them, this was a rude awakening. No rapprochement from management. Nobody cared that a patron was left in tears and checked out of their hotel 2 days into a 5 day stay. Having been made to pay upfront I lost 3 days' money. I asked to see a manager and was told nobody was there. I am so shocked and humiliated even now, a week later as I write this. -Also, the outside of the metallic dustbins are covered in a weird brown grime. -The make up mirror has greasy fingerprint on it just after housekeeping.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beach was awesome. Weather was nice. Dinner concept was almost fine dining
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow wow wow the location - we had the first room onto the beach - and what a beach
Cons: Nothing to write here
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It's a bit more private and secluded compared to rest of the resorts. We liked that. Staff and security are really nice and helpful. Breakfast is amazing. View is amazing. The resort got an "island" vibe and they should keep that. Good value for money compared to other resorts. Scooter rental very close (and safe, tried it). Supermarket very close (to buy snacks for tours etc.). Room includes fully equipped kitchen!
Cons: We had a bit of trouble with hot water, but I think it was an exception and staff fixed it quickly. Staff also allowed us to shower in other room and got a complementary champagne and fruit basket which was unexpected and nice. Can't really complain unless it's frequent. Food is a bit overpriced. Garden view feels a bit dissapointing for the money paid. We upgraded for seaview on the spot. We found the toilet in same (small) space with shower to be a bit weird (not all rooms are like that).
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: It looks great on camera.
Cons: We are avid travellers and no strangers to high-end hotels. When we pay good money then we expect good service. Unfortunately our experience at Le Sakoa was very disappointing. Upon arrival we were informed that, as a matter of policy, the first bottle of water, two tea bags and two coffee capsules would be complimentary and that we would have to pay if we required more. Neither new bottles of water, nor new coffee capsules were later provided. Does Sakoa’s management really expect its guests to call reception and ask for a bottle of water when they cannot drink tap water? We find it astonishing that a hotel would charge more than 400 EUR per night per room and demand that guests ask and pay for drinking water. These amenities are complementary and replenished in standard/business/boutique hotels around the world. The welcoming letter mentions that water sports activities are available between 10:00 and 16:30. This information is misleading as, in fact, only 2 slots are available: from 10 to 11 and from 14 to 16:30. For waterski, the afternoon slot is even narrower. In fact, the contract that Sakoa has with the Parasailing shop up the beach only allows guests to enjoy one waterski ride back and forth... not a full hour. The letter is also misleading with respect to the “rum selection available at our K-bar”. It omits to mention that guests have to pay for this service which Sakoa so graciously puts on offer. The first day we wanted to order lunch at 14:00 but we were turned down by the waiter who claimed that the chef was already gone. When we pointed out that the welcome letter mentions that lunch is served till 14:30 we were told by the receptionist, who went to consult the manager with whom we wanted to talk, that we could have snacks. We found it really impolite that the manager would not even be bothered to show his face. We later realised that it was the man who would almost constantly sit at the bar and smoke.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice place, friendly staff and spacious room.
Cons: The food was average need to be improved.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful beach, stunning hotel, very friendly staff
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is nice, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The garden and the room was clean, everything was great. There are a lot of activity, everything is very easy to book a desk for a dinner*, or play tennis, snorkeling, kayak, etc. This hotel is 100% the best choice for a family with children, there are a lot of opportunity to play with them. The ocean isn't deep, the waves are tiny, there is a Children Club, etc. We used taxi at the hotel too, it was very easy to find somebody, I think its easier to take a taxi and a driver as you book a car somwhere at a car rental, maybe is cost effectice, but taxi is 100% comfortable. It was a good choice to book in this hotel. We stayed here 5 nights, after it we travelled to the east side of the island (to an another Beachcomber hotel)
Cons: 1.) You need to book a table to an a' la carte restaurant, we get a table for the italian one (La Casa), but at the reception the guy said, everything is booked, but he can maybe reserve a desk for us (it was on Thursday and we get a table for Sunday) .. btw every day the restaurant was only half booked and on sunday neither... (this organisation wasn't profi). Some restaurant is as Adult Only dedicated, but every restaurant were children. It wasn't a problem for us, but maybe for you it can be. Dress code is added, but there some people, who didn't understand the casual smart, etc dresscode. 2.) There was a lot of cats... at the breakfast, at the lunch, at dinner. They just sat at the desks and waitad for the foods... I don't like cats, and nobody know the health status of this cats, for me this animals doesn't belongs to the eating. 3.) LOTS OF FLIES! I don't know why, at the beach too, but at the main restaurant was a lot! There wasn't any fly killing applications but it would be very effective...
7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful location
Cons: The seafood restaurant was poorly managed. Cats poo in the sand inside the restaurant so serious health risk. Noted it to staff, my wife and kids stepped in it, staff just brushed it off. Staff was also not friendly and made us feel very unwelcome, we decided not to visit that particular restaurant for the rest of our stay, rest of our stay was nice.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice stuff. Thanks to Sooneil who made us to feel great! We enjoyed the facilities on the beach and the sport activities. We had nice dinners at a la carte restaurants.
Cons: The weather was not very friendly!
7.9 Good
Pros: The pool and the view
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best staff I have ever come across. The service was exceptional.
7.9 Good
Pros: The facility itself is fantastic and well maintained, two great rim pools and a small private beach. Not doing much is however what this location is about, activities are not the big thing here but you can go snorkeling, don't expect too much though. Quiet, fairly private seating and not over crowded makes this a nice relaxing hotel. Nice touches like coming around to clean your sun glasses and placing nice flower arrangements in bowls of water all around the facility add to the experience.
Cons: Definitely the food is not up to a 5 star standard, in quality and variation. Even with full board there is a menu to pay extra (the good things) and not even water is free for dinner. Half a litre of water is what one gets per day, then one has to pay (half board) which I find unacceptable, where the tap water is not for drinking. There are NOT 4 restaurants here, there is only one kitchen on the property that supplies the 3 main eating areas (within calling distance of each other) that have a varied menu, and a beach bar for lunch that also gets the food from the main kitchen. Hence the quality is similar across all 4 restaurants. The waiters are not professional (forget rolls, rush the courses, etc.) and could do with some professional training.
6.3 Good
Pros: The hotel grounds are stunning, two gorgeous pools and a beautiful cove. The food is amazing, plenty of choice and four different dining areas. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The room is a huge disappointment. Having booked a senior club suite I would advise people not to bother. It does not afford you any additional benefits. There is no proactive service from any of the staff and the general level of service falls well below other five star hotels I have visited.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location on the sea-side with a private cove. Loads of different spots to sunbath on the premises. Two infinity pools to enjoy. A friendly location, where everybody will feel at home in luxury. The opportunity to taste local foods in the 3 different restaurant formula's, the Dining-room offers, à la cart choices and some days has a buffet style approach, with a rich variety of choices. The hotel offers boat trips against a supplement with their own catamaran sailing boat or private motorship and a free 20 minute trip with their glass-bottom boat or a free 40 minutes snorkeling trip: gear at your disposal.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The all inclusive formula is a great deal giving you access to all items on every menus, there are only a few dishes not included. Services was very nice and staff from the spa very nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The overall experience was amazing! Starting with the location and finishing with the staff, I have only good words to say. The room was all the time cleaned, everybody was smiley and happy. The place itself deserves 100% it’s name, pure Paradise on Earth! Thank you for taking care of us in such a lovely way!

9.2 Excellent
Pros: So kind, helpful and friendly people. It’s really a charming place with nice details and good and cozy atmosphere. The breakfast was awesome and location is in a good walking distance to Pereybere beach and restaurants.
Cons: Everything around is under construction and so noisy, so unfortunately it was not possible to enjoy this place in the way I intended. If you only spend the nights there it doesn’t matter, but otherwise you have to know they start roistering 7am until 5pm, sometimes even longer.

Cons: All was ok. Nothing to say.

Pros: Everything! I have no words for the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. The service far exceeded my expectations. The room was nice with the ocean and pool view. Very clean toilet and the same for the other space of room! The breakfast and dinner buffet were amazing with countless delicacies and special events from different country cuisines. The bar had everyday different music nights. It totally worths to take halfboard with your room.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff excellent, room sea view ,nice balcony, grounds very well maintained, bar area over looking the sea, Food to die for they had everything, room shower ,bed very good.spa excellent and cheap
Cons: Snack bar not very good perhaps ham ,cheese etc in there
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and dinner buffet was good and we also liked Nautic a'la carte restoran. Pool area lovely and especially liked travel chairs under the palm trees. Location is very close to Grand Baie shops and eating options. Beach was small, but they have some free water sport options right on the beach. I used glass bottom boat (schedule is 2-3 times a day).
Cons: There's should be couch in the standard room, there was only one chair in the room. In standart room you could hear noises from corridor, there was a small cap between floor and the door. As hotel is in the city beach is not very big.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The buffet was varied enough, so you wouldn't end up getting bored. The waiters were very attentive and always made sure you had everything you needed. I would recommend taking the all inclusive option so you can also enjoy the a la carte seaside restaurant within one cost.
Cons: Literally no complaints.
7.1 Good
Pros: Breakfast was amazing. Staff were brilliant, and accommodating
Cons: People with young children should have more entertainment for their kids, it ruins other people holidays. Dinner, you need to have a larger variety of cooked vegetables

7.9 Good
Pros: Apartment itself was great. Good location and really comfortable.
Cons: The payment set up was not explained properly, nor was the necessary arrival time, PLUS they had the booking wrong. Had to stand around in a driveway for 15-20 minutes waiting for someone to bring a key - and it was only 1710!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious and clean apartment. Great named secured parking, fitted our large SUV. Good swimming pool. Quiet surroundings.
Cons: Nothing, but you need a car if you stay here.
7.9 Good
Pros: Spacious apartment. Very clean and everything was in good condition. Comfy bed. Close to the main road so it was easy to catch the bus to get around
Cons: The wifi was disappointing. It completely disconnected when we were in the bedroom. Abit far from restaurants and shops
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The washing machine, pool, size of the apartment, location, allocated parking bay was great. Free late checkout was fantastic too. Lovely, modern apartment with free WIFI.
Cons: As we arrived late and woke early due to time difference,it would have been nice for some basic food to be in the apartment on arrival. Perhaps a fruit basket, a baguette or something similar would have been good as nothing was open very early morning.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: • The Horizon staff were excellent. They honestly made the stay for us unforgettable. They were incredibly attentive, and responded to every single query. They were honestly fantastic. From organising a Nespresso machine through to a rental car, they really went above and beyond. • Less than 200 metres to the beach. Easy and pleasant walk. Walking a further 200 metres to the west, whilst on the beach, leads to a spectacular swimming area. • Apartment is spacious and comfortable with almost all of the amenities one would need for a pleasant stay (kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, but lacks utensils for baking). • Internet connectivity leaves a lot to be desired. With that said, the Horizon staff did everything they could to make the experience better. Including adding wifi extenders and even offering wireless broadband after the Fibre reached its cap (turning a negative into a positive) • Highly recommend renting a vehicle, either before arrival or directly through Horizon. There are many places nearby to enjoy a meal, but most are not within walking distance.
Cons: • There is a lot of noise in the early mornings (before 08:00 (8am)) at the pedestrian access gate and the garage entrance - both of which are close to the second bedroom in unit C13. Noise occurs via cars and bikes as well as sanitation workers. • Towels are incredibly tough (feel like sandpaper), but are changed every two days (bedding too).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The whole staff was very polite and kind. The welcome of the hotel manager and cleaning team was above our expectations! The comfort of the apartment was extraordinary. Especially the beds, which were sublime. If you rent a car, you can park it at a covered parking, which is secured day and night. I don't think you will find something better price/quality on Mauritius.
Cons: The earliest time for the normal breakfast is 9 AM. Of course this doesn't matter if you want to relax the whole day at the apartment, but if you want to discover the island this sometimes is a little bit late.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The enormous terrace is fantastic. Evenings spent lying on the sofa sipping drinks was a super bonus Rooms large and airy with plenty of cupboard space. Modern, tasteful furniture and large sofas made relaxing easy
Cons: There wasn't a salad spinner and since it's self-catering most people buy lettuce that needs to be washed. I'd also add a vacuum cleaner so that for any family with kids it's easy to keep the apartment cleaner, even though there are excellent housekeepers who clean daily.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Element Bay II is the most luxurious experience. The security, parking, lifts and friendly staff (Zameer & Yogita) were extremely helpful. The penthouse is brand new, and has all the luxuries a person could wish for. It’s much bigger than you can imagine. Rain showers, beautiful beds and amazing views. You simply cannot go wrong. Private pool upstairs. With sitting area where we just gazed at the stars at night. I love this place.
Cons: I loved everything. You must hire a car. We travelled freely whenever we pleased.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing property with the family. We walked in feeling happy and reassured. Mauritius is amazing but we also looked forward to the comfort of Element Bay when we returned from our excursions. It was so easy to relax by the pool or lounge on the terrace. We will come again without hesitation. Special mention for Yogeeta our efficient and professional maid who was meticulous in making sure everything in our room was perfect. Also the security guards were magnificent, they even arranged for 2 coconuts to be cut off the tree for my children. Very secure, very clean, booking and checking in efficient and we were sad to leave. Ashley the Complex Manager was always on hand if we needed him and made our stay so much more relaxing without any worries. Our flight was at 23:55 on the last day and he approved for us to stay until 19:00 to leave for the airport, this allowed us to swim in the sea and pool before heading for the airport, life saver when you have a 2 year old who ended up sleeping the 12 hour flight back!! Thank you Ashley!
Cons: Nothing, one of the best places we visited.

Pros: It's nice property to stay in with family

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff and great facilities such as the pool area and the bar. Spacious and airy room.
Cons: The private beach was a bit disappointing, but the Peyrebere beach was only 20 min walk away and that one was lovely.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully designed rooms, common areas and grounds. Very friendly staff. Catamaran tour was great with extremely yummy barbecue. We would have loved to stay longer!
Cons: None of the coffee options at breakfast were nice. But that's a very common problem in hotels...
7.9 Good
Pros: The Location, Staff and Resort is beautiful, the beach across the road is very nice and offers a beautiful view of Coin De Mire, the resort is also nice and close to Grand Baie, which is great! The Swimming Pool is superb, very clean and clear, nice and close to the Pub which is great!
Cons: The food wasn't the best, there was a lot on offer, but unfortunately we stayed at another Hotel previously where the food was excellent and the food at coin de mire didn't even compare. Also have to wait quite a while to get an egg or omelette in the morning. The quality wasnt as good as it could be, but we only stayed 3 days so it was fine. the dining area is however beautiful and right next to the pool which is nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff are welcoming. The reception staff can help you with everything you need. The facilities are great. Two restaurants and they are so delicious. The atmosphere is friendly. Thanks to them!
Cons: Some insticts. The parking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stayed here for 4 days. Nicely located near the beach ( free activities are available ) Staff here are super friendly and very helpful. Food was great, bar area is excellent (swings by the bar, nice tables by the pool) Also thanks to a very sweet bartender Philberthaud, he was great. The room had an amazing view and was nicely decorated I honestly had an enjoyable stay in Coin de Mire Attitude , and I’m pretty sure you’ll love it
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The value for money was exceptional. The food was good and the activities offered were brilliant. The staff were excellent - they were always available to help and all very friendly.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Food a wide variety for a 2 to 3 star hotel. Swimming pool area pleasant. Bar too was up to Standard. Mine bouille poulet was super hot & sumptuous.
Cons: You have seaside nearby. It would be good if some outings could be organised to coin de mire safely even at a cost. Or physical exercise in the morning alongside the beach.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Almost everything! The bed and pillows were very comfy, good and clean linens, good adjustable lighting in the bedroom, blackout curtains. Rooms are clean, very spacious, nicely decorated. Lovely and friendliest staff, especially the restaurant and spa one. Kelly, Bridgette, Manjoo, they were all very considerate. Great activities included in the package (kayak, pedalo, paddle, aquagym in the hotel's pool, free cocktail and workshop on mondays), live music and animation every night, good buffet for dinner and breakfast with wide and tasty selection of food, you could also eat affordable Mauritian street food at the tabagie for lunch and afternoon tea time. I was surprised to see that the hotel tries to cater for vegans as well by providing plant based milk for breakfast - althought not the best vegan milk out there but I did appreciate that small effort. We had a great time at the spa - my husband and I had 1 massage each and the spa manager (Sweeta) and her colleagues were experienced and ensured that we had a good massage. I had a mom-to-be massage and my husband did a Mauritian massage - although a bit pricey but I guess that's the price.
Cons: The white towels were either stained or old. Not enough beach towels as well. Cushions at the reception area were dirty and stained too. The hotel is found next to a busy road, if you are looking for a very quiet stay, you might be deceived, you could start hearing buses as early as 5:30-6:00 a.m. I also believed it bothered some guests who tried to enjoy the pool. Bedroom and bathroom are separated only by a crochet thread and early morning you get sun light from the small toilet window even though the room has blackout curtain. We also didn't appreciate one thing. It was raining quite heavily on one of the days we stayed. In the information book, apparently all rooms had umbrellas. We didn't found ours and we called the reception to inquire. Sadly she said she would call us back but never did. Fortunately the rain had stopped and we were able to go out. No restaurant or anything on walking distance, you'll either need to take the bus (there's one next to the hotel) or hire a driver.
6.3 Good
Cons: Room windows could not be completely closed which allowed bug entrance in the room
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Whole resort was really nice. Great services, nice personal, on the beach you could borrow paddle board, pedalo or kayak, and there was trips with glass bottom boat.
Cons: Pretty high prices on everything that´s not covered in your package (we had a half board). Beach wasn´t that good as we expected. The sea was little durky in the bay.

Pros: Staff is amazing everybody is trying to help you with anything. Its own beach and the rooms are all great. It has its own water facilities which you can use for free for kayak or laser etc. which is great! Thanks for everything
Cons: Nothing :)
7.9 Good
Pros: Proximity to beach and this was the quietest part of the beach Good for relaxation - quiet Friendly staff, from Annie on reception to the restaurant team and cleaners Good lunch and dinner menus
Cons: The bed sheets and towels looked and felt as though they had been in use for decades The room looked as though it needed a fresh lick of paint; walls were a bit yellow tinged The phone in the room went through to the sister hotel rather than Le Cardinal. No idea why as they had to transfer you In general, it didn’t feel like a 5 star hotel experience
5.0 Okay
Cons: Facility is not in line with 5 stars I did booking of 5 stars hotel and I was expecting 5 stars for my holidays; while I consider this hotel is 3 stars and despite fact that bigger room was given to us; weekends was spoiled
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very nice and calm resort in a beautiful place. The staff was very nice and helpful, the food good, and the accommodations were exactly what we needed. Some resorts are very noisy and huge this one is so quiet with only a few suites, perfect for a couple.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We loved the spacious room and bathroom, the cupboard space. We appreciated the friendliness of Rajesh and Catoo (restaurant manager) We loved our sea view and the location of the resort so close to Mon choisy and Grand baie.
Cons: The silver taps (sink and bath and shower), toilet roll, flusher all can be cleaned properly. It is as if these does not get cleaned at all, full of marks.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness and world class service level of staff.
Cons: Can’t think of anything
7.1 Good
Pros: They had a good breakfast. The rooms are beautiful and spacious and the resort is on the beach.
Cons: When we checked in the sinks in the bathroom as well as the shower were all blocked and they were not fixed until the next day.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The size of the room was perfect. The little balcony had both the pool view and sea view. The sound of waves while sleeping was extremely relaxing. For the most part, the view was a great plus!! The staff were very welcoming and did their most to make us feel comfortable. The nearest public beach is a walking distance.
Cons: In regards to food, the breakfast was ok,very limited options and the dinner wasn't very tasty. We had the pumpkin soup, mushroom risotto, chicken rolls and pizza for the kids. As for the room, the shower and sink got clogged everytime we used them so water was all over the bathroom floor which could be very slippery and dangerous. We werent able to use the jacuzzi in the room because it was clogged as well.

Pros: Every thing
Cons: Nothing

Cons: There wans't much information about activities outside the hotel.

Cons: Food was average. Kids room was a bit small and hot.

Pros: Excellent, well balanced
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was lovely and the beach experience was terrific .. food was great but a bit predictable after 4 days ..staff were friendly and super helpful!
Cons: Dining options a bit limited but good for 7 days.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Unlike many “all inclusive “ resorts this one actually has 95% of its drink included and excellent food which is different every night , for those in the adult only section the restaurant offers intimate dining with a 5 course meal , but don’t ignore the regular restaurants buffet dinners it is absolutely worth it , rooms are cleaned regularly and like very comfortable. The staff were incredible and extremely friendly and helpful. Make sure you feed the cat ... his name is King and he is so friendly
7.9 Good
Pros: A 'no frills hotel', offering excellent value for money, with both restaurant and housekeeping staff that will go out of their way to accommodate your needs! Very comfortable beds, a win
Cons: No teaspoons at breakfast, empty plates cleared off the table more efficiently, and being able to change a towel more than once a day!! Could not understand the teaspoon and towel issues. A first for us, a widely travelled couple!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The resort is extrordinary. Superior cleanliness, very attentive staff, they take care of every detail. Very quiet and organized. Nice daily activities by the beach during the day and by the night at the bar. Good food and cocktails at fair prices. Close to Grand Baie. A shop just across the road. Easy to find. Would totally stay again.
Cons: The water at the hotel beach is not the best. There are a few rocks and the water is not so blue as at other beaches, but it is very clean and well organized by the beach, so in the end there is not really an inconvient. Trou aux Biches and Moint Choisy beaches really close.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Staff
Cons: Sub standard entertainment for the price Had to walk up flight of stairs with heavy luggage, no assistance Overpriced

Cons: Nothing
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff was super friendly and always wantend to help you. Furthermore, there were tons of activities to do like cooking classes, snorkeling tours...
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beauty, location, the food, the complimentary glass bottom boat trip, staff.
Cons: Cramped rooms. Really small. No toiletries in the bathroom. There were ants in the tea/coffee basket. No universal plug points.
7.5 Good
Pros: - Welcoming drink. - Notebook gift. - Sunset view. - Free towels for the beach.
Cons: One of the main reasons I booked at this hotel is that they claim the property is not pet friendly because my wife has Cynophobia (fear of dogs). However, it was full of hungry street dogs and cats walking freely in the hotel. One time, a dog came to our table in the beach and stole our snacks
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Charming boutique hotel, great location, very nice facilities.
Cons: The food at the main restaurant could be fresher and a bit more sophisticated
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent beach for snorkeling (even so a huge turtle in few meters away) and in another day my boyfriend saw hundreds of fish. Facilities are good and everything in the hotel was very good comparing of how much you are paying for it.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The beach and the snorkelling - the reef was fantastic and this was the highlight of the stay being able to snorkel whenever we wanted and seeing so many beautiful fish.
Cons: We had to move rooms because the first had a leak and one member of staff was quite rude to us when we were moved to a sea view room, basically telling us not to expect to stay there as we hadn’t paid for it! The second room was right next to the bar (noisy), was extremely humid (extractor fan didn’t work) and worst of all - there were cockroaches The food in the restaurant was disappointing at times but probably reflective of the fact it’s a three star hotel, sometimes very salty and food at buffet and also a la carte wasn’t served hot as you’d expect. One thing we really disliked was the number of cats in the restaurant, and flies. There should be procedures in place to discourage the animals Overall we were pretty disappointed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is overall amazing. In front of a quiet private beach that is mostly coral so not a big place to swim. But so beautiful and spacious and everyone is very nice. Especially thank you to Ajay and Riyaz from the kitchen who helped us with having much better and authentic food compared to the usual resort bland fare. Thank you Recif!
Cons: n/a

Pros: We stayed here for five nights and we enjoyed the location really next to the beach and the restaurant ambience, very suggestive, staff very nice and kind
Cons: Put care to details in rooms

Pros: Location (near a nice beach, though a busy one). Great food and a nice variety of wine. Friendly staff. A good value for the money. Liked very much the new years Eve party - nice food, music, dancers and the fire works.
Cons: Shower might have been better (a question of pressure).

Cons: To leave
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Tiny comfortable and clean room, huge new tv with (was helpful in waiting time during the ciclone!) nice little pool and jacuzzis to extend the pleasure after the beach, the restaurant is amazingly good, we were nicely surprised! The staff is very friendly and ready to help, as the owners Cat & Christ always smiling! We spent Xmas eve there too with a good dinner, nice live music/animation and they even organized some little presents for all the kids of the guests, that was lovely!! Many thanks!
Cons: Nothing special, maybe the bathroom could be renovated a bit and roof-closed as a room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The overall experience was EXCELLENT! The staff were helpful, attentive and friendly. After the first breakfast and dinner there (we opted for half board) the staff memorised who had what beverage for the subsequent breakfasts, i.e. tea, coffee, hot chocolate were on the table as we arrived. One of my kids has allergies and alternative meals were provided without any issues. The owner, Christophe, went out of his way to drop off an item that was left after we checked out. He called to figure out where we were and he rode his bike to us. EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast was ok Hotel was near to the beach (150 meters)
Cons: The room was not like on the website, it was deceptive. We had a big spider inside. The bathroom was degoutant. The rooms were dirty and we felt not comfortable. The rooms were humid and smelled mouldy. My wife could not breathe freely. When you are asthmatic be aware.

Cons: The wifi connection in my room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Mystik hotel is a small heaven in Mont Choisy. I was travelling alone and was able to meet friendly people from all over the world thanks to the hotel's small size. Last but not least, the team is warm, friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable, great bed, bathroom was nice. Enjoyed the restaurant.
Cons: No wifi in room
5.0 Okay
Pros: The dinner was amazing and the manager at the restaurant gave us exceptional service. The view was lovely.
Cons: The wifi in public areas is not convinent and it didn't work in all public areas, only at a particular spot in the restaurant . The staff at reception were not friendly on arrival. The towels were not white. The TV channels not English friendly, consider inclusion of some more English stations even sport channels. The phone didnt work. No floor mats.
7.1 Good
Pros: Hi Breakfast was okay... but it could have been better. it was the same old same old every day. near the end it looked like some xtra items was added. The coffee was really great, but it was only available for breakfast... WHY??? Most resorts have coffee, water and juice available through the day...…...
Cons: Where should I start 1. The reception staff and cleaning staff was extremely friendly and so helpful 2. the breakfast bunch looked like they had huge arguments before people arrived for breakfast, long faces, like it was trouble to serve you etc. I did complain about it the Thursday to a gentleman wearing a white shirt, he must have been a manager or supervisor, and he was taken aback by my comments about the staff unfriendly behaviour. 3. When the weekends came it seems that the locals became more important than Resort customers. We were ignored. I once tried in vain to get a staff members attention to order a cocktail, two people looked at me and just ignored me...… so I LEFT and later that day went for a couple of coctails downs the road..... 4. smoking - Your smoking areas are too close to the restaurant and entertainment area, and this was really annoying especially for people with Asthma like me (that had to use my asthma pump) 5. beach around the resort is filthy, I realized the people offer up some food and clothing items, but surely the clothing items can be picked up the following morning and put in a bin for the poor? we saw and underpants swooshing in the sea for days..... ugggh OTHER THAN THAT WE ACTUALLY HAD A LOVELY TIME. HOPE THESE COMMENTS HELP YOU IMPROVE RATHER THAN CRITIZISE THE REVIEWER.

Cons: While I understand the concept is to not have wifi in the rooms, IMO, they should really re-consider that.
