Easy check in and great location
It felt a little unsafe, dated and the room wasn’t very clean.
There was plenty of parking.
The bed had hairs on the sheets. The door outside had a gap. The adjoining door was so thin I could hear my neighbors conversations. Toilet paper was only 1/4 of a roll.
Not much to like, even for a budget motel...
The room had a strange odor, something akin to a toilet. The A/C was very loud and made rattling sounds. Even basic amenities such as shampoo and coffee maker are not provided! My clean clothes became instantly dirty by placing it on top of the table. I was afraid to look at the bed sheets too closely; sometimes it is better not to see. Look, I have stayed at many 'budget' hotels (including a couple of other Motel 6 locations) so I did not expect much, but this was by far the worst in terms of what you get for what you pay. This was a last minute booking so I got ripped off big time too on top of all that! Hey, at least I got to take a shower with no shampoo and left the place alive! Avoid it if you can.
staff was okay
No shampoo/conditioner in the bathrooms. You better bring your own blanket because the one on the bed is so thin you can't keep warm, and the heater rattles so loudly it kept me up all night. Camping would have been a more pleasant experience.
Worst motel. Worst customer service. Worst experience. Not recommended
Day one I checked in for two nights- offered my confirmation code because I prepaid. The front desk said they didn't need it. I put of my belongings in the room, shut the door, double checked to make sure it was locked, then left. When I came back, the door was open. My stuff was available to whom ever wished to take things. I called the front desk, and they said they didn't get my reservation in the system, so they gave a key to someone to use the room, they went in and didn't shut the door. The staff did not go back to check after the new guest said "someone's stuff is in the room". So the door was left wide open. The same guy who checked me in gave the room away within an hour of checking me in. The front desk later updated me and told me they sorted things out and my stay was in their system. I asked the front desk for a 6:15 am wake up call. The next morning I got one at 7:40am. Not too helpful. Considering they messed up a couple of things including something as simple as a wake up call, I decided to call the front desk to see what f they actually fixed my reservation. When I called I asked if I was scheduled to stay that night as well. They said no. I told them I paid for two, and wanted to know how to be sure they would not give my room away. They told me I had to pay for an additional night. I told them I already did. They said it doesn't matter. I need to pay for an additional night. I offered to share my confirmation and the front desk attendant exclaimed it didn't matter. I went down to the front desk to show them and clarify. Then the manager came and said she had to call the booking site and that I should go to my room and wait for her to call me. I went to my room. My keys no longer worked. I had this fixed at the front desk. Then waited for an hour. Called the front desk and they had fixed the problem, but neglected to tell me. They told me I would be refunded for part of my stay, but my card was charged for the full amount. They actually tried to charge me again at check out. Honestly- this is one of the worst motels. The staff are not apologetic for their mistakes. They are extremely unorganized, and the booking website clearly has problems as well.
It was very cheap
The bed linen was stained. There was only a small shower stall. Building was run down and gross, including the pool. Town was in great decline.
Nice shower, stained sheets
Nice shower with steady hot water and good water pressure. I had just spent 3 days backpacking and a nice long hot shower was my main motivation for renting a motel room. The woman at the check-in counter was friendly and pleasant.
Bed sheets were stained - not sure if the stains were fresh or just old and permanent, but to be safe I slept in my sleeping bag on top of the bed.
Clean room great shower.
Check-in staff no change machine for vending. Staff couldn't break a $20 bill.
You Get (Even Less Than) What You Pay For
Line out the door during check in. Seriously understaffed and not working very expeditiously to serve as many people as possible. Surfaces in room were not clean. Both ice machines were busted. Washer in laundry room was busted. Bedding flimsy, not warm--had to bring in sleeping bag from car. General impression: management really couldn't care less about this property.
No pool or spa
I was really hoping to take a soak in a hot tub like is advertised about this hotel. But I get there and it's outdoors and completely shut down. I was on the first floor and in my room on the ceilings were crawl spaces, kind of gave me the creeps. It's a good enough place to rest buy I wouldn't choose to stay there again.
OK a better TV would be better room was clean, beds were good
Ineffective Air Conditioning!!
The night crew/guy/manager was polite, professional and made efforts to help us into a cooler room. He gets an A. When I called the front desk again at 9pm, sweating while lying still, the night manager (the guy who gets the A rating) said there were no fans left and the best he could do was move us. He did but the room was only slightly better.
The dingbat daytime desk girl! When I called her because my room was a sauna she replied "yeah, all 3 buildings have issues"... did not offer a fan which I didn't even think of till later (must have been the heat exhaustion from simmering in the room!). So, they KNEW their A/C was broken, but of course this is not mentioned when making a reservation! Completely unacceptable with 95-100 degree temps! The motel itself was not impressive (niether was Green River for that matter). The air conditioning was completely useless! Apparently there were fans but she didn't offer one when I called the first time. Do not try to "save" money by staying here!
