10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great views of the Campo, clean and quiet with secure parking not too far away
10.0 Excellent
Pros: - awesome location with a balcony right onto the main arena - very large room, very comfortable and very clean - breakfast delivered into the room
Cons: - the breakfast muesli was okay at best (but there are omelets and other items; can‘t complain, really)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing view of Piazza del Campo from the "terrazza", perfect location, very kindly staff, great breakfast and services
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The people were friendly. The room was massive and beautiful views
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was amazing - overlooking the Piazza. Breakfast with a view! Quiet, spacious, central position. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Breakfast was ordinary. A good choice was offered but the quality was a little disappointing. For example, the fresh fruit were all under-ripe and the croissants were not the best.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, view from balcony, bathroom, breakfast was really good.
Cons: There was some noise from the campo below, but closing the windows helped. Hostess did provide ear plugs if necessary, but I didn’t need them.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow. What a place. Actually, it is so good that we stayed in more than anticipated. You simply do not want to leave. What a view. What a room. What a service. What a location.
Cons: I can imagine that some people mention that it is an environment that is not very quiet. Your room's windows have access to the town's central place. When we were here, there was a group of doctors who did just graduate and they were shouting once in a while "Dottore". But this is part of being in the center of a city and we loved it. There are ear buds available for the sensible people.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such an amazing location. Beautiful building. Staff really friendly and were able to check in early. Very accommodating with early check out. Great breakfast provided the night before.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: the best place to visit Sienna with a fantastic view on the inner city at breakfast and a spontaneous and warm welcome team ! I would certainly go back there !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and view from the terrace—AMAZING!! Sienna was one of our favorite cities we visited while in Tuscany. The staff are so very friendly and helpful and our breakfast was yummy!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location is excellent. The view from the balcony (where you have breakfast and drinks in the evening - they run an honesty bar) is stunning. Our room was small but beautiful. The staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was continental with plenty of choice. I would highly recommend the hotel and would definitely go back.
Cons: Nothing - it was all excellent.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice upscale very comfortable in every way. Very short distance to Saint Catherines home and church . Room was beautiful as was indoor and outdoor terrace for breakfast with spectacular view. Breakfast place settings what you expect from a quality B & B. Nice buffet.
Cons: A slight walk to central srea. Sent out our laundry and a pair of pants needed to be ironed but no ironing board and iron in hotel. Thirty minutes before morning breakfast buffet we arrived to find coffee lukewarm at best (attribute it to only two e of the many servers) not a regular occurrence.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was perfect! The location idyllic, the view from my window was spectacular!!!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I hate to tell you, because I want to keep this 6-room, converted mansion with breathtaking view to nyself... but there is nothing not to love. We traveled by train from Florence and had rented a car in Siena to go to San Gimignano for the day, so we arrived in the early evening, quite worn out. From the moment we arrived, the concierge was amazing with a guided tour before we arrived at our unique, gorgeous and sparkling clean room and bathroom. She recommended a very nice restaurant for dinner, just steps away. She doted on us at breakfast, which was European style, and fit for an Italian prince. Then held our bags after we checked out so my 90 yr old Dad and I could spend our day exploring Siena before taking the train back to Florence , without hauling our backpacks around. I'm going to say it was my Dad's last trip to Italy, but he will have the memories, and photos from the breakfast balcony, to remember. And I will have the memory of this time with my Dad and how Residenza d'Epoca made it special.
Cons: There was a bit of street noise from teens at night, but that can happen anywhere and you can't blame a hotel on a residential street.. We LOVED everything that was in the control of the hotel, and their view (which, again they don't cintrol), but that alone was worth every cent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and the view from the breakfast room was incredible. The staff were amazing and the hotel way exceeded my expectations

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was delightful. The location is amazing, the staff feels like family.
Cons: Everything was absolutely perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners Jacamo and Lorenzo were so welcoming and helpful. They made our touring of Tuscany a highlight of our month long trip.
Cons: I didn't like the right corner of the gate facing out toward traffic and because of its historical designation it can't be modified. It took out my right rear door panel and undercarriage. Be advised: Pullout into the left hand on coming traffic when clear to avoid this mishap. Do NOT cut sharply left or right when making a turn. Pull straight out till you are clear of the gate.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Boutique Hotel in a quiet location, including parking space
Cons: Everything was perfect
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Villa and garden are really nice with view of Siena and Tuscan landscape. Walk to Center is about 20 minutes.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous room, great views, nice breakfast, incredibly helpful staff!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: excellent location, within easy walking distance to the main sights of Seine. Breakfast was basic, but good, very friendly staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just amazing location and hosts. You wont find better in Siena. A beautiful villa with sun terrace, lawned areas with olive trees and fruit trees to sit under in the evenings and drink local wine. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the hotel was top notch. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. We learned more about the palio that was taking place than we ever thought we could. It was only a short 15 minute walk into the center of Siena. We had breakfast in the garden before setting off each day. One of the best things about the hotel was the rooftop. The view was fantastic, especially in the evening. We sat and drank our prosecco while the sun set listening to the voices of mens choirs practicing for the Palio. Or listening to the drum practicing coming from all over the city. Or just sat and watched the sky darken as the sun set and the lights of the city came on. It was a great way to end a hot day of visiting the city. The room was clean, bed comfortable, shower strong, AC good. Wifi strong. Sleeping at night it was quiet, and in the morning you could hear the swifts flying high in the sky. We would definitely return. Don't miss the rooftop.
Cons: No elevator, but can't be added because it is an historical building, so it is something that can be overlooked.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Convenient but quiet location. Wonderful staff. Great rooftop spot to have a glass of wine and enjoy the view of the city.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The view, the staff, the comfortable beds. It was a wonderful place to be for a few nights. The staff accommodated anything we requested. Felt like we were VIP's.
Cons: It was a little hard to find the first time.

Pros: Jimmy was extremely helpful.

Pros: Really beautiful hotel ! The location was great, just a few minutes walk into the old city. From the moment I arrived Jimmy and his staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Next time I come back to Siena I will definitely stay here again.

Cons: N/a
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the location , away from the city but close enough to walk . Stunning views from the rooftop terrace - delightful to sit there with a glass of wine. The room was very comfortable , loved the preserved old painting on the ceiling! All the staff were friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. It was lovely to have breakfast in the garden. Would highly recommend this lovely hotel.
Cons: The shower was a bit small and tea and coffee in the room might have been nice. But I’m being very picky here- it certainly didn’t spoil our stay.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was great, location on a quiet street, staff great, however air conditioning was almost non-existent. Told staff, was told that there were floor vents in room but they were barely working.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff. Nice lounge with drinks & food available all day. Nice big rooms with high ceilings
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The photos of the building and rooms do not do justice. The building is beautiful and the roof terrace gives you the best view of the city - would recommend a drink here to watch the sunset. The rooms have been recently renovated and so they’re modern and spacious with comfortable beds. I think all rooms must have a nice view but the ones at the front of the property would give you a view of the city. It’s in a lovely quiet location just a 15min walk from the Duomo. Would definitely come back here!
Cons: Liked it all!!

Pros: Such a lovely quiet village with wonderful staff who were very happy to help.

Pros: Spacious modern and clean. Quite near town centre.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The host was extremely accommodating and the place was very comfortable. She set me up at two local restaurants where I was happy to eat some if the best food in my life.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was really good and everything was tasty, the staff was really nice and forthcoming.
Cons: Location is good but for me the pictures were a bit deceiving, I expected it to be a lot closer to the city center, it's still a long walk uphill to town. I think the price is a bit steep for what you get, cheap furniture and paper thin walls.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good location, its beside the escalator to the top of the city and its facing the monument directly(can see monument from the window).
Cons: No.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Beds and bathrooms were great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was an amazing find!!! New, beautiful, clean and perfectly located next to the Santa Maria della Scalla escalators in Sienna and the Santa Catarina parking garage (you can’t bring your rental car into the town). There is a beautiful private patio off the suite that overlooks the old town walls and views of the San Dominico Church-just breath taking!!! The owners were lovely people and gave us great restaurant recommendations and were just super helpful. I would absolutely recommend this place and would stay here again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It is very well located right near the center of Siena. Very nice B&B, beautifully decorated.
Cons: We had trouble getting to the hotel since it is inside a ZTL zone (no outside cars allowed in, except cars with permission). We had to park our car far away and walk a long way with our luggage - it wasn't far, but uneven roads and a lot of stairs made it seem like it took forever). When we left, we took a taxi back to the car. It is possible to go inside the ZTL but then the staff of the B&B has to issue a permission for the exact time your car was inside. We only learned that once we got there. Also we took some time trying to open the front door at night since nobody told us the door was hard to open. We thought we had the wrong keys, and once we contacted the person responsible the answer was "I know it's hard, keep trying". after 15-20 minutes of trying, we got it, and I can't even explain how. But if you go, beware and tell them to teach you how it's done or you'll be in panic like I was, thinking I would have to sleep on the doorsteps.
5.5 Okay
Pros: In general there was nothing to like, its a decent B&B but not close to the money that was charged. Location can be a plus, but it was still not that close to the main attractions either.
Cons: Breakfast was very very basic.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great views and very nice place overall, I really loved it.
Cons: Be prepared to walk up a lot of steep streets to get to restaurants and shops, or call a cab.

Pros: The staff were all helpful pleasant and willing to assist and happy to please. We had a lovely time. Great bed. Fabulous breakfast. Close to lots of interesting places. We will recommend!
Cons: Wifi that didn’t drop out when you were having breakfast would be the only thing I can think of. Wifi worked well in the rooms. If the pool were open until ten for adults only perhaps. We didn’t get use of it because we were out everyday. There is a bit of sound travel between rooms but most evenings we were not bothered. Not a bad list of improvements.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hotel Sangallo is a good choice, if you do not want to be in the centre of Siena. Clean, nice hotel with very helpfull staff.

So delicious that upon our return home my boyfriend asked me to bake him the very same cake that was served for breakfast :) Although located a bit outside of the city, the directions were clear and we had no difficulty finding the property. It's a great value for money, especially if you travel by car. We definitely recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I like how accommodating the host was with our arrival time and throughout the stay. The breakfast options were better than your typical Italian cafe. It felt like a home rather than a hotel. The location was away from the main downtown area, which made it easier to unwind.
Cons: The host gave us great suggestions for activities, but it would have been good to be clear about what areas are acceptable to travel with car.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A very clean and beautiful place, the owner was extra helpful and positive.
Cons: A little bit far from the center.

Pros: Excellent location; 150 meters from a busstop that takes you directly to Siena centre. Staff is really helpful. You can buy drinks at low prices (2 euro for 0.5L Franziskaner weizen, €1 for a can of coke etc.). Breakfast is nice, bread, italian ham, cheese, cake etc. Freshly made italian coffee. Room is good, big bathroom. There is a nice restaurant about 200 meters from the B&B and another one at about 1.5km.

Pros: Perfect in all respects to experience Tuscany! Additionally, still within Sienna city limits yet in the country. You get the best of two worlds. The hosts were like family. Mama and Papa, were lovable like our own. There is excellent family type dinning near the property. There is one of the best fine dinning restaurants located less than a mile away. IL Campaccio, owned by a young chef and his wife. This is an ideal family stay. Day trips to all areas of Tuscany very easy. Assisi only 70min drive.

Pros: The owners, Eleanor and Giovani, are incredibly welcoming and gracious hosts. The location is just outside of Siena - making you feel like you are fully in the countryside, however you are just a few minutes from Siena itself. Pros: Clean modern room with nice terrazzo and excellent breakfast
Cons: One staff member was very rude and with little patience for questions. We were innundated with rules and penalties upon entering and were chastised when we questioned and disn’t understand. The key situation was almost comical as we had 4 keys which were never fully made clear as to function and use. Property was difficult to find and too far from the city. Noise was prevalent in the morning from the busy atreet below . Although a nice property not a very pleasant stay.

7.5 Good
Pros: Very clean and well located.
Cons: Old fashioned and very plain and dark.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, cleanliness, balcony. Breakfast was just outside our room and it was a good typical Italian breakfast. Plenty for the two of us. Close enough to the train station, I’d say it was a 15-20m walk with our suit cases. Slight slope heading to the B&B and much easier walk back to the station. It’s just inside the wall, and very close to the main section of the old town shopping, restaurants and Campo. You can easily walk back for a rest and head back out again.
Cons: Not really. Internet didn’t work the second day after 12pm. Luciana helped but in the end I didn’t have internet that evening. It was ok for the 1 night without.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The friendliness and energy of the property manager. The location was excellent.
Cons: The cleanliness and state of disrepair of the facilities. The paint above the shower is pealing and the bathroom is generally damp. The curtains in the bedroom is extremely dusty, the white net curtain is actually grey. The air-conditioner is very noisy and the temperature cannot be set, neither can it be turned off. The filters on the air-conditioner are in serious need of cleaning. This can be an excellent facility if liitle bit of effort is spent on minor repairs and cleaning.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Easy walking distance to the centre, but not inside it. Excellent mini-breakfast just outside our door. Luciana is a wonderful hostess/owner.
Cons: WIFI and AC were not working.
7.5 Good
Pros: A nice quiet house just right before you enter a main pedestrian street. Room spacious and clean.
Cons: We would prefer if there was less plastic being used during a breakfast, the plates, spoons, forks were all plastic, not very eco-friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very handy to Siena centre, lovely big room. Very clean and tidy. Luciano was very helpful with restaurant suggestions which were fantastic.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely building and very pleasant room, mostly quiet with garden view.
Cons: Breakfast not so good. It is a bit away from the center of town.

Pros: The location was walking distance from the center, and offered both free and private parking (at a charge of 20 euro per day). The hotel is beautiful and historical and staff are super friendly and nice. The breakfast was good quality and fresh. I would definitely go back to this hotel!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This former palazzo is a secret gem in the heart of Siena's old city but on a very quiet street away from the busy shops and restaurants. There is a gorgeous garden with balcony overlooking the Tuscan valley below with chirping birds and bubbling fountain where an excellent breakfast buffet is served (heaven!), and lovely sitting rooms with antique furniture and hand-painted ceilings. Our room was large and spacious, and had a beautiful bathroom with fantastic shower. The front desk staff was very helpful and provided restaurant recommendations and umbrellas for rain. There is also a very convenient secure parking lot down the steps behind the property. This was one of our favorite stops on a two week trip thru Italy and Corsica. Too short, but we'll be back!

Pros: The staff was really friendly, from check-in to answering any questions we had. When busy, parking can be a bit tight but staff were very helpful (it was free so no complaints). Breakfast had a wide variety of choices and was good. The location we thought was excellent as the hotel is within the city walls and very quiet at night but only a short walk to the town centre.
