10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was great; but, comfortable and clean!
Cons: Nothing, it was all good
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully clean and comfortable. Have stayed here before without any unpleasant staff encounters like what we encountered this morning.
Cons: The thankfully UNARMED BREAKFAST GUARD (don’t touch her waffle griddle unless you are an expert in its use) was completely OVER THE TOP with rudeness. She definitely does not belong in any position that deals directly with guests. The front desk gal was obviously terrified by this employees behavior and ignored the situation until I insisted she do something. The manager apparently arrives at 8:00 a.m. but did not make any effort to address the issue... eg: even though his attention was requested, he/she was “to busy” to speak with us. Anywho........ wow.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: There was only one mirror in the room ( bathroom). It would have helped to have a full length mirror in the room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Room was well appointed. Clean and well maintained. Nice bed and pillows. Comfortable room.
Cons: Breakfast hours are over too early.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and my wife even received a compliment. The breakfast staff lady was very pleasant also. I was given an American flag pin by the manager and a nice handshake for being a veteran.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the clean spacious rooms, really expansive food/snack station, full breakfast in the morning, gym and the staff was really helpful (even despite me getting locked out of my room for a couple hours- they totally made it up to me)!
Cons: Nothing- it was terrific!
7.1 Good
Pros: Quiet comfy rooms. Included bkfst.
Cons: bkfst hrs. Too short.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Small bottles of water in the rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed.
Cons: No
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and modern.
Cons: no down sides.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is fairly new so the rooms feel clean and new. I like that you can open the window, even though its only a little bit. Most similar hotels do not have windows that open at all and it makes the rooms very stuffy. The complimentary breakfast!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very helpful when it came to questions about the area. The breakfast staff was also very nice. The common spaces were clean and well maintained.
Cons: The check in process took a bit of time. The pool was small.

6.3 Good
Pros: Location is great. Building is beautiful/historic. Nice gardens and outdoor seating. Bedding is very comfortable and excellent quality. Bath towels and shower were terrific.
Cons: Wasn’t obvious that parking is on street and depending on time/day, metered. Room was nice but very small - I ’ve had bigger rooms in NYC for the money ($340/night). No in room coffee or room service. Lobby coffee and condiments were hit or miss.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The desk manager (Steven) went above and beyond to make suggestions about the area and provided wonderful friendly service. The location was excellent right next to Amherst College and centrally located so that we could walk to many places.

Pros: We were staying overnight following my sister's funeral. The staff could not have been any more accommodating considering our need for staying at the hotel. I would especially like to thank Gail, who was working behind the Starbuck's/Bar area. Cons: It was further away from Northampton than I expected.

10.0 Excellent
Cons: Not enough gluten free options.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Really liked staff. Super friendly and helpful. My booking was lost for a bit and they honored the price and room requirements - and still remained kind in the process. Then, they went the extra mile to dig through emails and find it.
Cons: Nothing major. Breakfast is basic but sufficient, consistent with price/level of hotel. Room AC is a bit noisy, especially when it kicks on and off.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Pillows, sheets, bed
Cons: Location on route 9 is a bit awkward because you have to turn around/make a u-turn to enter when coming from Northampton/Hadley mall
5.4 Okay
Pros: location is close to my destination, and quite many shopping areas around.
Cons: too close to the road, a bit noise in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean. Was visiting Amherst college with my daughter and it was convenient and a great value. Staff was friendly and breakfast was great.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location - proximity to everything
Cons: Very damp and musty. They had a dehumidifier running in the room and they probably should not have used the room for guests. Clean enough but smelly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was very close to my daughter's college UMass.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable beds, very good Wi-Fi and super friendly staff. Great to have a gym and a pool. Also the washing room for guests is well equipped.
Cons: The breakfast is very "american". Many sweet things and no cheese or ham. We hated that there was only plastic cutlery and the plates and cups were out of cardboard. This means that everyone produced a lot of trash, very unecological. It was nice to have fresh fruit.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean
Cons: TERRIBLE street signage , couldn't find entrance and had to go around again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was quite satisfactory. They could have changed up the breakfast menu some.
Cons: That booking.com was extremely deceptive with the price of the room! I was not made aware that I was paying two different rates for all three days of my stay! So when checkout came due I had to pay a substantially higher rate than I was lead to believe I was paying, almost $200 MORE!!! You fooled me this time, it will NEVER happen again. I shall NOT use your services again!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly. Bed was cozy. Clean.
Cons: Nothing

Cons: Cannot think of a thing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was terrific. I loved the clean, updated decor. It's a fresh update to a motel. The continental breakfast was easy and had healthy options. It was an easy place to stay. Having the room on the ground floor made it easy for the dog.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location and ground level floor.
Cons: Room showed signs of wear and tear and is not conducive to the rate they charge. I believe for the quality of this room it was overpriced by $35 for the night.
7.9 Good
Pros: Fantastic staff, good location, wonderful updated decor, comfortable bed.
Cons: I reserved a suite and paid a premium for that expecting a living room and separate bedroom. Their suites are simply larger rooms with a sitting area.

Cons: Everything was fine.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: My stay was wonderful, the staff was pleasant and very helpful. The room was tastefully decorated and efficient. Close to downtown shops and restaurants, and located in a desirable area.
6.3 Good
Pros: Great location, nice yard, and one of the few hotels in Northampton that allows pets.
Cons: Slow check in. Room is just ok - rather like an upscale motel....and yet the price does not reflect this.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was exceptional and was willing to go above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is a newly renovated inn within walking distance of Smith College and downtown Northampton. It is perfect! I'd say if you would like to enjoy a lovely New England college town, stay here! Unfortunately, I missed breakfast due to jet lag.
Cons: This is not an inexpensive place to stay. But I think the price was reasonable.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The location to Northampton was good. Parking was convenient. Nice neighborhood. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: It's tired. The lobby smells musty. The carpeting is dirty and stained in the hall and in the rooms. The bathroom needs remodeling. The breakfast was sparsely provisioned. I thought it was overpriced for the experience. I would not return.

Pros: Staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: Not much provided for breakfast. Had to wait for coffee. Bathroom door did not shut completely.
10.0 Excellent

6.7 Good
Pros: Staff answered emails I sent within 24 hours. Staff were friendly
Cons: Reservation placed in June 2019 and I sent and received emails re: questions about my pets but at check in the lady stated there was nothing on the reservation about bringing dogs and she hesitated and had to look for a pet room causing much anxiety of the customer. Additional tension was created because we arrived @ 9PM after traveling 9 hours to this destination. Also, I am an asthmatic and the butt receptacles were located at both ends of the building entrances and 2 times I had an asthma attack walking past the smoker and I had to use my inhaler. People should be set up for smoking at least 40 feet away from the entrances
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The location was the best thing about this hotel.
Cons: The hotel is dingy, with an overwhelming odor as you pass through the entrance to the lobby. My room was dusty, the towel bars had sticky brown residue on them, the AC unit smelled sour & took hours to cool the room to a comfortable temperature.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was firm and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Overall great value for the money.
6.7 Good
Cons: The hotel was clean, as in the cleaning staff did their job, but I've never felt the need to wear my shoes on a hotel carpet before. Breakfast was too limited and there was nothing fresh. Even a bowl of apples would make a big improvement.

Pros: Desk clerk very friendly and helpful, beds were comfy, wifi worked very well. Nice cold breakfast...sorry it wasn't the weekend when they offer the full hot breakfast, but this was quick.
Cons: A bit hard to get to from the interstate, and looks on the outside like it has seen better days. Wood furniture a bit worn, but otherwise the furnishings were just fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the cleanliness of the room. The beds were clean and neat and comfy. I enjoyed the quiet and I felt safe during the thunder and lightening storm we had that evening. I will stay again. The breakfast was good as well.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is limited but good. Coffee/cookies are available through the day, which I liked. Room had fridge, microwave, coffee machine which help during an extended stay. The location is very good, close to Hampshire Mall which houses all major stores like Walmart, Target, etc. Fast food type eating options are available within walking distance. The PVTA bus stop is right next door, in front of staples. PVTA provides reasonably good connectivity within the area, schedule fidelity not very good though.
Cons: Nothing much.

Pros: MY PURPOSE WAS TO VISIT UNIVERSITY UMASS WHICH WAS CLOSE BY. EXCEPT LOCATION FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSE, I DID NOT LIKE ANYTHING
Cons: CARPET IN THE ROOM APPEARS TO BE VERY OLD. WHOLE PROPERTY NEEDS RENNOVATION. THERE WAS NO ARRANGMENT FOR BREAKFAST AT THE PROPERTY.
4.6 Okay
Cons: Bathtub was dirty
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Cleanliness. The sheets and pillow looked dirty. Another property with same rates where I stayed in the first leg of my visit was much superior. I eventually shifted back
7.9 Good
Pros: Location is excellent, close to both the UMass Campus and Amherst center. It was nice to have some muffins and dougnuts with coffee for breakfast.
Cons: Some electric suckets would need to be repaired.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We like the location. It’s close to the Yiddish Book Center, restaurants, and Atkins Market. It’s also a good value.
Cons: The air conditioner is too high, so you can’t change the temperature. We froze for most of the 5 nights we were there!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location close to downtown. Could walk to restaurants.
Cons: Air conditioner not working in first room. Drink machine had money jammed in it and would not work.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Very bad signage. Hard to find driveway. Check in was awkward. Had to come back for keys, directions to room were vague and wrong.....no ice machine.....room was fine but not 2 star..
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location. Nice firm bed.
Cons: Air conditioning worked poorly.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The air conditioning worked well and the location was convenient to town and UMASS. We appreciated the pet-friendliness.
Cons: The room was dirty. The beds were very small and the linens were subpar. We were up all night and were constantly getting rid of bugs (flies, spiders, moths, etc.). By the end of our stay, at least one member of our party had an unidentified bug bite (pictured below). The place had not been updated in quite a while, and we definitely will not be back.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Easy to get around, well located for our purpose of getting to Univ of Massachusetts. It was clean and simple.
Cons: Price is about 20% too high for the quality. No basic breakfast support.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Mold in bathroom
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very close to where our plans were.
Cons: My room had a smell when I first arrived like a old musty smell. It went away. I paid 199 dollars while my friend paid 120.

Pros: Adequate rooms. Clean and very nice staff. Very old school.
7.5 Good
Pros: Loved the price.
Cons: The smell
5.0 Okay
Pros: Very convenient to get to UMass
Cons: The room was very dirty. You could see the top of the desk, night table, bathroom toilet and sink, were not thoroughly clean because the dirt came up easily on to the wet wipes I used to clean them. The grime behind the bathroom sink was horrible. We could not use the refrigerator because the smell was so strong that it made the room smell. Also, strong smell of cooking spices in the room. I am fine with a basic room with no frills, but I expect it to be clean.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The location
Cons: Everything else I pd 350.00 for a room for 2 nights had a family emergency had to leave and they would not give a penny back

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean. The beds were very comfortable
Cons: I would of liked a small coffee pot or microwave in the room.I usually sleep with 2 to 4 plllows and there were only 2 on the bed.The air conditioning was very loud.
6.3 Good
Pros: Price was OK.
Cons: There was no breakfast. The room was serviceable and mostly clean but not great. The hallway smelled.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was quiet.
Cons: The only real complaint would be that the pillows were very thin.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: At first looks older, small and plain. Rooms are outdated but very clean. Very good location for any event involving University of Mass. Outdoor pool very nice. Front desk very nice. Good room if you are planning on only sleeping there.
