Violetta Hotel

Place with a soul, it feels like home :) You won't only relax in Amoudara, you will also learn about its place's story/evolution, share moments with the owners and Amoudara's inhabitants. It's priceless! Violetta Hotel is located in a quiet place with a balcony, tv (usb), electric kettle and air-con in each bedroom. The place has a swimming pool and is situated at 150 m from the Golden Beach. Several restaurants and souvenirs shops nearby. From the very beginning they reminded us if ever we need something, just ask them. They are there to help and provide. Pergola Restaurant offers a copious breakfast at 9 am, meals, drinks in a family & friendly atmosphere. Mini market & bus stop in front of it (Buses going to Knossos #2, Amoudara #6, the airport & Herakliou City #1). We enjoyed our stay, the ambiance of peaceful Amoudara and spending time with the lovely people of this town. We wish you all The Best until our next visit. The Atmosphere, the Looks! This Hotel is like a sweet innocent timetravel back into the past but the pool that is inbetween both was a little more modern and you could actually listen to good Music (Guardians of the Galaxy Soundtrack etc. like some good Oldies),charming with a lot of different Flowers as entourage. The Owners were such nice Hosts, we enjoyed talking to them and promised them to return. Felt like staying with your grandparents, at ease. Close to Heraklion City Centre. We only stayed one night but there was much more to explore around. The Chaise-Longue-Canapé-Sofa Section at the Reception of the Hotel super! Chose the Hotel for an authentic experience and was not disappointed. Absolute good vlue for money.

Rooms are very oldschool and my bed not too comfy but clean and I do love the old vibe to it. The Owner said she wanted to update this, next time we would see the difference but we agreed on they should leave it to it's original Charm and just add some small aprovements. We were lucky enough to get a room on the roadside, now during the day it was super quiet however at night, the youngsters tend to drive fast down this road and it was a saturday night, it was loud, dogs and rooster from the neighbour added was not so pleasant but bearable.
