Nice minshuku managed by an old Japanese man. People speak only japanese so Google translation is helpful (WiFi available). Good cooking prepared by the wife of the owner. Close to sand baths. Only cash accepted.

Family-stay Ryokan with typical traditional room design in private house next to Ibusuki sand bath. Warm welcome, wish had been able to talk more. Free pick-up and return service from/to station. Bus stop is immediately round the corner in front of the sand bath.
Not much facilities in Ibusuki, even less in this area next to sand bath. Compared to expensive Ibusuki hotels this is a fair priced offer.
Value for money. Near to Sand Bath Center but a bit far from the Ibusuki Station to walk.
I was not able to enjoy communication with the owner couple. They don't speak English and my Japanese is very bad as well.
Very good location, right next to the sand baths. Rooms are well furnished and comfortable. Very good value for money. The owners will drop you off at the station upon request.
It should be stated that you are renting a room in someone's house. It feels like a homestay as the owners are watching TV and eating dinner right outside your room so you don't feel like you have much privacy. They were also not very friendly and curt so as to be rude
No need to rush or hurry, a bit carefree feeling. This small inn gives great peace to you.
