Guto and Mari are fantastic hosts. You feel SO welcome from the first moment you arrive. And they speak English, which is not so common in this area. I planned to stay three nights, but extended it to six nights instead due to the nice and clean room, wonderful breakfasts, (and new Brazilian ingredients every day,) lovely balcony and the nice talks I had with Mari. They offered extra services every day, and the last day I could even use my room until the evening without having to pay more because it was empty until next morning. It’s close to Resende beach, there is a really good restaurant downstairs and next door is even a nice vegan restaurant. If you want to do chopping or walk to bars and restaurants it’s just a few minutes away. I just loved being there, and the hammock on the balcony with a nice view of a quiet part of the street gave me some of my best moments. I will be back!

Awesome breakfast. Honestly the best pão de queijo that I ever had, home made by the friendly girls who serve the breakfast buffet. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
I was travelling alone so I got a small room without terrace. But make sure if you book a room to get the ones on the upper floor.
