Staff on board were good - food was fine tasted good - tv was old 1970ts in seat back but hey it was a 2 out flight so no drama
Had some great leg room on this one.
Pros: Smooth flight
Cons: Very tiny seats, tough for a westerner.
Cons: No entertainment, no place to plug in devices, extremely uncomfortable. The worst part was the Dixie cup of water served. Really?!? A bottle or larger cup would have broke the bank? Was so thirsty by the time we landed even though I had the attendants bring me water three times.
Pros: Crew was polite
Cons: Food and entertainment
Pros: Got upgraded to first class, there wasn’t any TVs but it was only an hour long flight. Staff was also really nice
Cons: Magazines or tv.
Cons: Bad ticketing system. Too narrow seat position. Crews are using too strong perfume. Bad altitude changing. Overally it was worst experience in my life.
Good Value and Service!
Pros: Good value for the money. Flight crew was young and exuberant, very willing to make the passengers journey as comfy as possible. Surprised an inflight meal and two checked bags were included in my fare. Other international carriers would have charged extra! Hope this Korean Air economy carrier sticks around. Hope to fly them again!
Cons: The plane was on the old side with worn seat cushions. Not the most comfy for long haul flights. No pillows, blankets or inflight entertainment. Do bring your own blanket or jacket and do not forget the snacks!
Pros: Food was good quality and good portion for the duration of the flight.
Cons: Seat were smaller than Korean air everything else feels like any other budget airline
Jin Air is always the right choice!
Pros: Wide leg room, nice customer service and most importantly being able to check in baggages up to 15kg for free!!!
Cons: Bad service
Cons: We were delayed three hours
No leg room
Pros: Service and crew
Cons: It was a older plane with very little legroom. I’m 5’7”
Great Airline, Great Service
Pros: We were actually on Korean Air, not Jin Air due to our change in schedule. Korean Air staff in Hanoi were truly excellent. They even followed thru so that staff in Seoul assisted us with our connection. We were very impressed. Korean Air's flight attendants have always been professional and courteous. The level of service is superior to most airlines we've used.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
Worst 5-hour flight on ancient plane!
Cons: Ancient plane! It still has ashtray!
No indication you were to check in with a different airline
Cons: Please indicate in bold print which airline you check in with if two or more are listed! Due to the ambiguity on our reservation we nearly missed our flight. Many other passengers on this flight had the same problem.
Cons: The flight was suppose to be a direct flight but we end up stoping at Hongkong. We were on the plane for over 12 hours instead of 5 hours and 20 mins.
Cons: I was just put on whatever seat was available.
Pros: the trip with Jin air from Clark was good, the trip from Inchon was good
Pros: Great flight, good service
Cons: It was all fine.
Pros: This was a codeshare with JinAir. The staff was friendly and helpful. The plane was small, but thankfully there were plenty of open seats so it felt spacious.
Pros: It was okay!
Cons: The connecting flight was a little confusing, most of us don't know what's going on or where to get the boarding pass.
Pros: It's what you expect from a budget airline. Was actually happy they had food.
Cons: The food was not good at all. The seats were uncomfortable. There is no entertainment.
Pros: Comfortable seats.
Pros: Good for a short hop from Korea to Japan
Pros: I paid for Korean air tickets only to realize I got cheap flight on Jin air. I puposely paid more for a real airline. Not some tiny seat budget airline that can't even serve a proper meal. This is the last time I buy on kayak!
Pros: The crew were so accommodating
Cons: No entertainment and the food is few and no other choice for free drinks
On board Jin Air flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 115cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the Jin Air assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.

KAYAK is a travel search engine, meaning that we continuously look across the web to find the best deals for our users. With over 2 billion flight queries processed yearly, we are able to display a variety of prices and options on flights from all airlines, including Jin Air.
Commencing operations in 2008, Jin Air is a South Korean airline that has its primary hub in Seoul. Primarily focusing on international services, it flies to more than 10 countries and states across the Asia-Pacific region, which include Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, China and the Philippines. To help ease traffic demands, additional hubs are located in Busan and Jeju.
Functioning as a low-cost carrier, the carrier targets budget-conscious vacationers traveling across Asia. In order to keep operating costs down, Jin Air schedules only nonstop flights within a moderate distance area. Codeshare agreements are held with the Jetstar Group and Korean Air to deliver a wider-reaching group of destinations. Customers can book flights to Singapore and Australia through its partnership with the band of Jetstar airlines.
All passengers are seated within the same Economy cabin, meaning there is no preferential treatment or class separation. Upgrades can be made prior to boarding to secure an emergency exit row seat with additional legroom or a front zone seat close to the exit doors. Free checked baggage is included on all fares.
Jin Air chooses to operate an all-Boeing fleet of aircraft. Narrow-body jets, such as the 737 Next Generation series, are favored due to their fuel efficiency and suitability for the Asian region. One of the largest models in the fleet is the 777-200ER, which can hold roughly 393 passengers. The planes have a distinctive fluorescent yellow marking on both the tail and engines. A unique 737-800 is decorated with a Green Wings livery to promote the airline’s Esports brand.
