The reception staff were quite helpful.
Not an issue with not liking something - it was the fact that despite being a massive place, and not a Courtyard or other minor-version, it was totally forgettable. In a comparision with a Hilton, it would come off second best.

Great rooms, but not at all inclusive
The rooms were beautiful, fitness center and pool were a good size, and the help and the front desk was friendly.
NOTHING is included in this $200+ room. No minifridge, no breakfast, no parking, there's even a bottle of water in the room that you will get charged for if you drink.

Great stay!
Great location in downtown Kansas City. Nice lobby area with full service bar. Large menu served until after midnight (Saturday night) and the food was really good.
Waited in line for about 30 minutes to check into room. Only 2 staff at front desk.
