It was close to the airport and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast spread was also huge and plentiful!
It was difficult to get cool air into the room because the window only opened partially.
Quiet, staff helpful, very early breakfast prepared for us before catching our flight. Also, family room allowed everyone their own bed.
The reception was so so so nice to us. Actually we didn't expect too much because the price was not expensive, but it was really fantastic! The room condition was good enough - wide, comfortable bed, and cozy. I'd like to stay here again.
The breafast was simple and not much variable - but it is acceptable. You can still have kinds of breads, fruits, beverages and yogurts.
Absolutely loved the staff!! They were so delightful to converse with! They even helped us find a nice vegetarian Thai restaurant nearby and even called the owners to let them know of our dietary restrictions. The food was amazing by the way!
we arrived late at Keflavik airport and by the time we checked out the hire car it was like gone 12 midnight. 10 minutes later we were checked in by the "all night duty guy" and in our room completely knackered after a late evening flight! Next morning we had a late breakfast at 10am (no hassle). it was a buffet breakfast with a good range and choice which we couldn't fault. Refreshed, we headed off to the national park for our first 8k hike of the holiday!! A great hotel for simply arriving and/or leaving the international airport at Keflovik. If you decide to stay in the area for more than a few hours then you got good sea walks all around and small "cornish" style fishing harbours and of course the famous Blue Lagoon - but save your coin for the cheaper Secret Lagoon or Fontana Geo Spas up nearer Geysir!
room was perhaps a little to cluttered with furniture for our 8 hour stop over!!
