Cons: No cookies
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love the bed extremely comfortable, best sleep I had in long time.
Cons: Parking little tight but manageable
5.0 Okay
Cons: The second shift staff member was excellent. Need to have more staff like her. She actually stayed on the phone with me until I got there my GPS wasn't working. The only problem I had well 2 things was when you first enter the property there is this stifling smell. I don't know if it was the air freshener or someone's cologne but get rid of that and the next one was it smelt like sewage in my room. I had to buy a candle so I wouldn't smell that odor. So then I thought that's why that air freshener was so strong to kill the sewage smell. I have a very sensitive nose. Oh yeah one other thing I was charged more than the room actually cost. I won't be using online booking anymore. Other than that overall it was ok.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I like the location I like how clean it is The staff is always friendly.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was that the bathroom area in my room smelled wet. Like stuffy or moldy. It was unpleasant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff went out of their way to make my stay nice and comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable room as far as beds, pillows, heat, accessories. Folks were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was awesome and had a bit of gluten free choice thankfully! ( Cheerios would be a good gluten free cereal choice there) I enjoyed the stay!
Cons: I would rather have the vanity sink enclosed privately rather than in the doorway and open to view of others in room. Parking was tight and difficult for my pick up truck.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Old denny, smell
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean and breakfast was good enough.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The king bedroom is quite spacious and comfortable. Certainly convenient also as there is a microwave and micro fridge for ones use.
Cons: I wish considering how much in advance I reserved a room I would not have received a handicapped room as I did not need one. Would have liked a room with a bathtub and not only a shower.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location and cleanliness.
Cons: Hallways need redone. Evening front desk person was surly. Elevator was old and needs replacing. Outside landscaping could use some work.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The location of where I needed to be
Cons: The hotel needs to be updated. Torn carpet in the room entering the bathroom, ants all over the room, I had to call twice and go to the desk to report ants and then they finally sprayed, two nights in a row had to have key reset. said ok I wasn'tcoming bk
7.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: MUSTY MILDEW SMELL OVERWHELMING in bathroom. Made me nauseated! Had to spray air freshener. The hotel was nice but that smell ruined it for us. Three spots dog poop in hallway has to call front desk to clean up.

Pros: Ms. Gwendolyn was AMAZING!!!
5.0 Okay
Cons: The bathroom was kind of shabby, small and inconvenient.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Space Of Suite.
Cons: No Good View on The 5th Floor Spa In Room was Too Small For 2 People!
4.0 Okay
Cons: You have it listed as a pet-friendly hotel. It was not a pet-friendly hotel. The front desk person accused me of calling early and already asking if it was pet friendly. Then told me I shouldn't have booked from a third party. He was very snooty and I do not appreciate his attitude when it was booking's fault not mine.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were clean. There was no breakfast due to the Corona Virus but they did have coffee and juice. Most of the staff was friendly. Beds were amazing.
Cons: Not really. Overall was good.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Bathroom’s could use updates cosmetically. Better ventilation in bathrooms would help prevent mold and mildew. Breakfast was underwhelming.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Modern, clean. Breakfast (hot and cold options) as more than expected.
Cons: Signage and exterior lighting made finding the hotel harder than it should be. Two entrances about 50 feet apart yet only one goes easily to the hotel. The other suddenly changes to a construction-like entrance.

3.0 Mediocre

1.0 Poor
Pros: I've stayed here before because of location and the service.

Pros: Other than location, not much
Cons: Room was dirty and dark so staff moved us to a better room. Night manager handled fire alarm very poorly
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We were happy the hotel was open - we came to pack up my daughter’s room at Wake Forest. It is hard to expect anything during lockdown, but the Kimpton provided comfortable stay. We could get pick up dinner, or order delivery from a different place. We bought ‘deconstructed’ drinks since the bar was closed, so our stay was as nice as possible in the circumstances. The downstairs facilities were closed though due to the lockdown situation- understandably.

7.0 Good
Pros: Comfy bed, nice bathroom, clean room
Cons: The bathroom door did not work properly would not close
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The front desk staff was friendly and helpful . Taylor helped a lot . The room had a work station and a very comfortable bed . The tv was very good , too . The room itself was clean . I couldn't judge the breakfast , as there easily wasn't any . Just coffee and what they would give you if you asked . Front desk did give me a couple of hard boiled eggs and 2 orange juices . Not their fault , though .Location was great . Twin peaks right down the street within walking distance .
Cons: Everything here was fine
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: People on my floor were loud late at night and were smoking
1.0 Poor
Pros: The location was great. That was all.
Cons: It seemed they had every guest on the same floor. The hotel was no smoking yet the entire floor smelled of cigarettes and marijuana. Someone had a dog that barked ALL NIGHT. There was also a party or something going on at the room closest to elevator. They were so loud and even had children screaming. I left at 3 in the morning and all of that was still going on. I simply could not sleep there. I have never stayed in this hotel and will never do it again. I will NEVER recommend anyone stay here. One of the worst hotels in Winston Salem.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff. Easy room access.
Cons: Right up against a major road. Lot of early rush hour traffic noise (we were on backside of hotel). Not a deal breaker.
5.0 Okay
Pros: We brought our two basset hounds with us so we liked being on the first floor. I particularly like the automatic opening and closing of the main entrance doors.
Cons: I know it was not the usual conditions due to the Covid 19 Virus restrictions, and we were lucky to be able to find a room. But the light fixture on the left side of the bed was difficult to turn on and off; there was only one easily moved chair to sit in; the larger chair was so heavy, it was practically impossible to move if you needed two chairs to sit at the little table. The toilet paper was almost non-existent and I realize the hotel was being careful not to be supplying toilet paper to whoever might be taking it with them!! At least there were waste baskets in the bedroom and the bathroom.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: everything
Cons: the ice machine was empty
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Only 2 persons were polite. A guy with a long hair and a shortlady with red hair (front desk). Housekeeper left my room open, someone open the door and didnt request for service, maintance super rude. If you they dont like their job that is not our fault.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Wide open space in the room. Accessible to move around. nice layout of room
Cons: The staff upon check time.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Rooms was dirty
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean

5.0 Okay
Cons: Star level rating did not match the experience. Clearly an attempt made at a face lift but not fully successful with this.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was comfortable and clean and as expected until my shower experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for an adjustment on check out time because of the shower needing maintenance. I would stay here again.
Cons: The shower sprayed water all over the bath room above the shower curtain and then the shower head fell off into the tub. I attempted to call maintenance on the room phone but it didn't work. Once maintenance was called it was fixed immediately.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The girl that checked us in was great. Very friendly
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The staff was nice .
Cons: Upon my arrival I got into my room there were not any towels and wash cloths like I asked. I had to go and take some off of housekeeping’s cart. My TV did not work in the room. I called front desk and informed them that it did not work and they said maintenance was going to come up and check it. Maintenance never came . The head board on the bed banged against the wall any time I moved . For the price I paid it shouldn’t have been any problems . I was a little upset .

Pros: The first room we stayed in was dirty(hair in the bed), but the second was clean.
Cons: We were locked out of our room from 11:00 pm until 3:00am. The battery in the electronic lock died, and the the desk clerk broke his key in the lock. My wife and I had to sit outside while we waited for them to fix the door. I asked multiple times for another room, but was refused until 3:00am. My dog was trapped in the room, and they were not able to get her out until 07:30am when the manager broke the door down with a crow bar. I asked multiple times for a locksmith to help us but the staff claimed none was available. Really despicable customer service. Why wouldn’t they give us a room as soon as they realized they could not open the door? I’m talking about 3:00am before they gave us someplace to sleep. The worst experience I have ever had in any hotel chain in 40 years.

Pros: Quiet, really friendly staff check in and out was fast room was decent size
1.0 Poor
Pros: Location was fine. Entry area looked good. Then it began to go down hill.
Cons: We could hear every person who walked down the hall, even if they weren't being particularly loud. Only one of the two elevators worked. The A/C didn't work very well leaving the room uncomfortably warm even in cold weather. The worst part was that when we woke up, our bathroom sink was full of backed up drain water that was not there when we went to bed. There was no one available to fix it. We had to change rooms in a rush in order to get ready for a very important early morning interview. The lone attendant was unwilling or unable to make an adjustment to the bill in compensation.
