Hotel is located close to the beach, rooms are clean and spacious. Food at hotel's restaurants is rather good. The staff is always helpful and friendly.
The room decor is not very nice in my opinion. The beach is not as well-maintained as in the hotels nearby. WiFi in lobby did not work some of the time
Basic enough hotel; big room and comfortable bathroom; good variable breakfasts; huge green territory of the hotel; king-size bed
there was not written anywhere that all the hotels at Bophut beach (I heard that at Maenam as well) has slimy bottom and turbid water as a result. it is not the fault of the hotel of course, but i think it is necessary to admit it.
We got a House right next to the beach, very nice
The beach is nice but, the water is not clear, i do not know why, but its a fact that other beaches do have clear water...a bit suspicious. Furthermore the hotel seems a bit run down.
Highly recommend, this beautiful hotel, we felt relaxed and we were treated like VIPs.It was very quiet which made it all the more relaxing. We ate in the Four Winds Restaurant and thought the meal was excellent.Breakfast was very good. The room in the Royal Wing had direct access to the large pool. I especially liked the bed, very comfortable and very big, you could get lost in it. The staff could not do enough for you, were very courteous. We had problems with the room safe, they sorted it within minutes of reporting it.The lovely ladies who offered the beauty and massage treatments were fantastic, the one hour foot massage I received was for me pure heaven! The gardens were beautiful and well kept with many flowers.
Nothing!!! From my experience I do not understand some of the reviews who have criticised the restaurant food. Everything was perfect!
Well chose this hotel for my wife’s 50th Our first trip to Thailand and if the funds were ever again available wouldn’t hesitate to return to this wonderful country, just one thing about Thailand don’t go if you think it will be cheap it isn’t [if you value your stomach] budget “going out prices uk” and you wont be disappointed and when the odd bargain comes along that’s a nice surprise. That said the real value is in the cost of the hotel rooms 4 star luxury at less than the cost of a travel lodge. Ok The Samui Palm beach resort, got a great price online after much searching and booked a room in the Royal Wing, on arrival the place was pretty empty [mid Feb is early season] so lucky us they put us in a beach bungalow one back from the ones that line the beach front [these were well out of our price range] and very near the main pool, we couldn’t believe our luck, the bungalow [they call them villas] was very large, very high ceilings, four poster bed with drapes, room safe, wet shower room, sunken bath, table and chairs inside and out and a sort of private garden area with coconut trees over, yes one of the tiles was chipped and the paintwork could do with re glossing but that would be being very picky considering what we paid. Later we checked out the rooms in the royal wing this complex appears very new and has the longest swimming pool on the island [but certainly not the widest] the rooms were very nice and finished to a high standard some had private plunge pools, but they were a bit dark and some way from the beach. The beach was very nice private and quiet and BO PHUT is very quiet, out of the complex there was a 7\11 within walking distance and a two acceptable restaurants if you want a change from the hotel which has several restaurants although only two were open [like I said the place was not that full] Prices…… Starter soup or satay 120 batt [double it for pounds thus £2.
Well the brochure shows sunbeds in pairs along a grass bank overlooking the ocean these are reserved for the beach front villas only,[your told to keepout] this is not made clear and is a bit misleading. That said the provision for other guests is ok even if beach sun beds are a bit in short supply.
