Pros: The executive room was really nice. The bathroom had a western type of toilet and good shower. The bed was soft and comfortable. No noise from neighbouring rooms, only some noice from the street. The friendly staff at the reception could speak some English.

Cons: The hotel seemed to be mainly for Chinese business men and tourists, and accordingly the breakfast was purely a Chinese type, however, very comprehensive. It had been my choice, so there is actually nothing to complain about. I got freshly fried eggs but did not get ham or bacon because of language problems.

Pros: This hotel is really well located for getting about Kunming - close to a subway/metro and also for walking to a number of traditional tourist sites.

Cons: The food in the hotel restaurant - whether the morning breakfasts or from the regular lunch and dinner menu - was not very appealing to Western guests. Many items seemed to be reheated or "luke warm" at best. There was no English menu. The doors to the fitness area were always bolted shut and you needed to get an attendant for the swimming pool to open them.

Pros: Location is excellent. A few minutes walk from metro. Can access public transportation easily.

Cons: Noisy. Indoor lightning is poor. Everything is too old. The room is awfully small.

Cons: For those who can’t speak chinese it’s a little difficult to communicate with the staff.

Pros: Good position. Staff very kind (don't speak English but they always try to help you). Very clean (every day), good laundry service and natural water in the room. It worths the price.

Pros: Great location, right near the subway, easy to get to the airport, which is precisely what we needed. Clean, comfortable, no complaints!

Cons: It's just a standard hotel- nothing special. Front desk was very nice. No complaints.

Cons: Cold shower Staff did not help to find restaurant near by (we only found street food) and did not speak english No wifi... And we need it in China! Not very a good location, but it is near to the subway The room smell smoke, we ask to change and they did not want

Cons: The staff pretty much sum up my experience of Kunming, bland I’ve never been anywhere in China that was as miserable, rude and boring as Kunming Stay in Dali, a much better place

Cons: ◘ Swimming Pool is open to the public and is constantly filled with screaming kids 24/7 having swimming lessons. The hotel has rented out the pool for swimming classes to make more money... Previously when I stayed here it wasn't rented out and actually it was quite a lovely small private swimming pool for guests to relax in, but now it's quite disgusting the water is discoloured, murky and generally the whole place looks overused and run down. ◘ Make AC adjustable in rooms, what's the point of having an AC panel in room if the hotel is already set at a certain temperature. My room was 27°C... way too hot! Staff are unable to do anything, every room is the same. ◘ I only stayed for two nights and during this time I saw almost every single staff member using their mobile phones in front of guests; playing games etc. ◘ Breakfast chef didn't ask about egg frying preference e.g. 'sunny side up' or 'over easy' and proceeded to make possibly the worst fried egg I've ever had, for some reason he purposely burst the yoke and spreads it around...spoke to Manager who fixed the problem, and I finally got a normal fried egg. Why is he out there if he has no idea what he is doing?Lack of staff training. ◘ Reception check in, cold, shy, unresponsive, and gave no information about hotel facilities or breakfast times etc.Her name was 'Selfie'.Again Lack of staff training. ◘ Check out slow, guests don't queue and push in, staff say nothing

Pros: The are quite misleading whether package include breakfast or not. If only provide breakfast. their charges are High. Would recommed Ramada, room more comfortable at a cheaper price.

Pros: I liked coziness, the silent place, facilities, location, clean linen, safety and the friendliness of the staff.

Cons: Its service. Air Condition didn't work. Advertisement of sex worker inside hotel premises. Used Condom was found inside hotel room. English was really poor.

Cons: its little too big, and the air conditioning was not working properly.

Pros: The hotel front office is great.

Cons: The decor is old and there were junks all over the place like fire extinguisher placed on the kitchen floor, wifi router on the floor, one of the shower door cannot slide and close, hanging cable wires from the floor, etc. Air conditioner is weak , urine sewage smell in the bathroometc. I think I rented a place from a slumlord. The only good rating is the professional courtesy and friendliness of the staff. I would not recommend this place at all.
