The reception people were so awesome, we had to cancel part of our trip because the Mashu train line was closed. The two receptionists literally spent an hour helping to rearrange our plan and book things on the phone with us - such legends.
You have everything you might need! ☺️ Even free ramen if you like! Very clean and comfy! Highly recommended!
I especially liked the free evening ramen. Nice touch.
The 500 parking charge.
The location was really close to the train station and the bus terminal. Everything about this place is great. The room is quite large for Japanese standards and the breakfast was amazing! The Hokkaido potato salad is so delicious and the homemade pudding on offer is so silky and delightful that you want another, even at breakfast! All the local to Hokkaido food is labeled as such and even if you think you may not like it, just try a little. The first day was a giant tempura prawn... so juicy and crunchy! The second day was a cream potato croquette. It was rich, creamy, and hot. Perfect for the -13 degree morning. On our last day, there were tempura oysters. I tried one and it was delicious! I am not normally a fan of oysters, but these had a gentle taste and just slightly salty to remind you of the ocean. The bath salts on offer make your skin feel so soft and luxurious. There are three types, try them all! You will not be disappointed. The room has everything you need and there are extra pillows in the hall to choose from. You will also find cups, saucers, glasses, plates, and extra tea if you need them. For the price, you cannot beat this hotel. The bed was soft enough for me. I really hate hard mattresses. I slept really well here. There were much more expensive options near the train station, but I would stay here again in a heartbeat! The staff is excellent and they are always on hand to help you. There is also a 7-11 across the street for when it is too cold to venture out to find a restaurant.
I did not want to leave!
They had everything and then some extra stuff ie. free laundry, charging cables (upon request) and they even serve free ramen at night. Their staff are also friendly and professional. Will definitely plan to stay in this hotel chain for my future trips to Japan. Very value for money.
