Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's friendly and attentive staff, convenient location near major Kyoto attractions, and the authentic Japanese experience, especially the traditional breakfast and clean facilities. Many appreciated the unique atmosphere and cultural touches, such as tatami rooms and onsen baths. However, several guests noted drawbacks with the shared bathrooms and baths, mentioning issues like limited privacy, small size, and occasional cleanliness concerns. Overall, the positive aspects of service, location, and breakfast outweighed the negatives for most visitors.
