Pros: Great breakfast nice quiet room. Golf buggies fun and great golf if you play. Beach very nice
Cons: Lunch ordering on beach took over an hour.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing breakfast. The beach is not too big but enough
Okay 4.2
Cons: The hotel didn't recognized the reservation made by this application.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beyond perfect. Special treatment since the second you book your room. Rooms very spacious. The bed is simply heaven. All the staff is beyond nice and helpful. The food is VERY tasty. I cannot wait to go back. Thank you so much for everything.
Excellent 10.0
Cons: Excellent
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The hotel areas are very beautiful
Cons: I have to pay 200$ more than the booking.com price indicated
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very peaceful place and great staffs
Cons: Too pricey be prepared to pay heavily on everything
Excellent 9.4
Pros: My last visit to Casa de Campo was 25 years ago and I was thrilled to return and find it: Impeccably managed; great staff...uniformly warm, professional, highly competent and highly responsive; great facilities...especially the beach club/pool/restaurant; great sports; wide array of surprisingly good quality food choices. Before our trip I read reviews that warned to beware of billing issues such as double charging and charging separately for items outside the “all inclusive” plan...and I am happy to report that billing was completely accurate with not a single discrepancy! Well designed, impeccably clean and well maintained rooms were a solid 4-4.5 stars and need just that little something to get them to 5 stars.
Cons: Only real complaint was the room air conditioning that I think uses “evaporative cooling” which results in a slightly uncomfortable humidity level in the room...and the configuration of the air conditioning diffuser/vent that resulted in a real blast of air that caused a mini-draft when activated.

Pros: The beach, territory
Cons: breakfast
Excellent 9.6
Pros: It's like living a dream. Staff is super nice and friendly. If you have any issues do not hesitate to tell them and they will help right away. Everything is brand new and clean. Definitely the place to be in Bayahibe!
Excellent 8.0
Cons: Staff was quite moody and distracted, often giving an attitude when approaching them speaking English. We found a way to mitigate by adding simple Spanish greetings and praising them often, but that should not be necessary.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: beautiful modern property, great food and amazing service....everybody has been so kind and friendly
Cons: everything was lovely
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Beautiful beach, modern, adult only, lots of ala cart restaurant options and no need to pre book.
Cons: The way people (and staff from what we could see) booked up sunchairs early morning, the expansive transfer (not their fault of course), sometimes we had to wait for a table a long time at restaurants while several was not used.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Great rooms, nice beach and facilities
Cons: Food could be better and pools should be heated

Pros: Everything in the room as expected!! Nicely Decorates and comfortable bed!!
Cons: Unexpected and not advertised overcharge for a per person resort fee totaling 10% more of agreed rate.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Don't know
Cons: We didn't like receiving a call on our way to the resort and being told that there was a mistake and that there were no rooms available because they were sold out. This was on our way to the place so we had to head back home. This after my card had been charged and the booking confirmed, now I have to wait up to a week to receive my refund. This is totally unacceptable in my book.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: the property is very nice and well maintained. It is relaxing
Cons: I had two problems. First I arrived and they did not find my reservation, so they lasted more than an hour and a half to give me access to the resort. Then in the services they offered, that they included a breakfast. We never got breakfast. I tried calling the host 3 time and he never answered it.

Excellent 9.6
Pros: I traveled with my husband around Dominican Republic. We stayed in Punta Cana, Santo Domingo, Samana peninsula and here in Bayahibe. I like this place most and I can truly recommend to stay here. Location Very nice location, public beach is near, so you can easily work there, same for restaurants. If you prefer more private place, you can drive to national park. Staff The owners of this place are very nice and helpful. They can speak English. Room Room is very nice, clean and smells fresh. You have a fridge, working AC and hot water. We were very satisfied with housekeeping. Parking You can park directly at front of your room in a closed area. You feel safe here.
Cons: Bed is small for couples. More like queen size, but it was everywhere in DOM where we stayed. This place gets little noisy during nights because of homeless dogs and cats in the city.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: - great clean room and terrace - very friendly staff and host - very very nice neighborhood with friendly people, beachbars and good places to eat for affordable prices - fruit in the morning - parking - national park with free entrance near (10 min by car). - price is ok. Compared to Belgium everything is expensive here.
Cons: - al lot of noise during the night. But that might be everywhere in the Dominican Republic - no real breakfast available
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Everything! The property owners and staff are super friendly. The apartment is plenty large, with a bedroom and a sofa-bed in the living room, plus a kitchen. The place was kept very clean. There was a little table on the terrace where we enjoyed food & drinks most nights.
Cons: I guess the bed was a little too firm for me.
Good 7.0
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Communication in English was almost impossible.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Very authentic and cool. It was exactly you would expect a hotel to look like in Bayahibe.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We had an excellent stay at Aparta hotel. In the middle of the old fishingvillage. Lots of nice restaurants and other services nearby. We will be back!!
Cons: We had an excellent stay at Aparta hotel. In the middle of the old fishingvillage. Lots of nice restaurants and other services nearby. We will be back!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Perfect accomodation for a good money. Owners are really friendly and helpful, the have helped us with everything what we have needed. The room was big and good equipped. We got more than we expected - also nice breakfast. We really enjoyed stay there. Gracie mile!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Position good for public transport (from Santo domingo, la romana ecc), excellent for playa bayahibe, dominicus americanus and for the excursions to isla saona. Staff friendly, professional and helpful during all the period of our stay. The apartment was big and clean. Recommended!
Cons: nothing

Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The beach
Cons: They charged us for the electricity we used!! They checked us in but at the end it was "oh BTW you will be charged for the electricity as well." Yes it was in the contract - but last thing, tiny print. But who charges for electricity?!! Add it to the fee!!! In addition we bought the breakfast but didn't know we would be 2 miles away, would need to wait for them to pick us up, wouldn't answer the phone numbers they gave me - I texted or called and they only answered a number I found after spending 15 minutes looking for an alternative one on-line. Stay away!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Well maintained Beautiful settings of the apartments and square Beautiful pools Private beach No harassment of vendors Public transportation in the daytime
Cons: The availability of food is weak, but then I must admit there are not enough guests to maintain a wider selection of eateries or bars! A taxi is needed to go to a neighbor town in the night!
Mediocre 2.9
Pros: The look of the apartment.
Cons: Many things: - Cleaning was not included. They never cleaned the room. - The hotel is very far from the beach. - Electricity was nog included and they charge for it. That’s cheap. - The pool was ice cold. You cant go in their. - The Breakfast was really bad and discusting. Flies everywhere and bread was cold and dry. - The service was bad. The People in the reception didnt know how to answer simple questions and did not communicate with eachother. We spent many hours in front of their desk waiting on replies to very simple questions. Dont go to this apart hotel. We have been to many hotels and we cannot understand who they are a 4-star hotel in the minute we suscribe this.
Okay 5.0
Pros: the location is very good
Cons: if the apartamento rent includes internet connection and it didnt work at least they should give a discount at the check out time.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful sunset. Excellent location on the beach. The pool being outside our apartment was a great feature but the pool was amazing...
Cons: Having to pay separate for electricity. The pictures on booking did not match my apartment.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was a pleasure to stay there! Polite and friendly reception staff, lovely waitress in a breakfast zone. Cozy terrace. It takes only 5 min to get to the beach
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice place to stay and relax just minutes walk from the beach

Excellent 9.2
Pros: Owner is a nice person. He welcomed us heartly. Even when we arive late, he waiting for us and make a small tour in the vila. We have ordered breakfast and it was fantastic. With a stuning view from the terrace to sea.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We liked everything. From the welcome drink to the lovely and clean rooms up to the breakfast and fantastic help from Frank it was an unbelievable stay. Clean, perfect view to the sea, excellent drinks and food, super nice conversations and support in all questions we had. it was much more as we had expected. The village was nice and travelling with the local buses worked without any problem. The local beach is only a 10 minute walk away....
Cons: We had to leave after 3 days and would have liked to stay longer... :-). The Local Beach in La Romana was a bit dirty (broken glas), so who got time should really try to go to Isla Catalina Or Saona....
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Food.
Cons: All well.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The host was so accommodating, local tips and knowledge of the area - but most of all, the Villa
Excellent 9.4
Pros: The accommodations were clean, safe, and you can hear waves crashing outside your window. The rooftop terrace was the reason we booked this space and it didn’t disappoint. Frank is extremely kind, helpful, knowledgeable about the area, and dedicated to making sure you enjoy your time at his home.
Cons: Because of our flight times, we were not able to rent a car, which made staying in this spot more difficult and expensive than we expected. Fortunately, with Frank’s assistance, we found a trustworthy taxi driver and so were able to move around knowing we were safe. Unfortunately, that workaround blew our budget. Having a car would have made this spot more ideal but we still managed to enjoy it.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: host and staff attention
Cons: difficulty in getting there
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was great! Super owner, because he helped us with everything we needed, he offered us a lot of stuff and what is good, he speaks 5 languages so it's very easy to talk with him. Parking is very safe, because it's behind a gate, inside a garden. You can also see there very beautiful view on the sea, because there is big terrace. In the room is very strong WiFi. Owner can make breakfast or coffee for you just for few bucks. We clpan say, that we really felt there like at home.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Ideal place for people who want something away from all the tourists. Comfortable room, balcony with lovely sea view and Isle Catalina. Friendly and helpfull host. Good price and very good service. Near beach and restaurant with good local food. We enjoyed our stay.

Excellent 9.6
Pros: So much to do inside the resort
Cons: Rooms weren’t perfectly squeaky clean, but that’s rising the standards to perfection.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: It was beautiful!!
Cons: There were some bugs in the room. Which is expected when it it a bungalow but still not great to see.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were very helpful, kind and fun. The cabana was great. The options were very nice with the buffet, lots of options for vegetarians. There was construction and repairs happening but the resort did thier best to minimize the noise and distractions. The resort had very good, secure and reasonably priced excursions/taxis
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The bedroom was comfortable, the facilities excellent. Animation group outstanding, everyday there were different activities to do... you could choose if you wanted to join or not... you had fun all the time but at the same time peace and relax cause you could enjoy relaxing places to stay far from noise! The staff trained to help you although you always find exceptions... but in general very helpful. Michelle was excellent and she was always ready to help us and make us feel comfortable.
Cons: The food was very good. We didn’t like very much desserts, there was a good variety to choose from but the patisserie was not impressive.
Okay 5.1
Pros: The location, the beach and views were beautiful.
Cons: Overall experience: overrated with hints of tackiness and unpleasant surprises. In other words, for the price, don't expect quality. You truly get what you pay for but with a twist in DR all-inclusive. The only way to make this better is to pay for a place that offers what I'm paying for. Had I known what all inclusive meant ahead of time at Viva Wyndham, I would've gone elsewhere. The ride from the airport to the resort alone -- about 1 hr 20 min -- is heart breaking: glaring poverty, with non stop shanty towns with an inordinate amount of abandoned contructions, dilapidated buildings and folks running through the highway. The Dominican Travel Industry shields the tourists from blatant poverty with gated resorts. The theme is the same: the food sucks, it's prepared ahead time and sits there, it gets dry, one can taste it isn't fresh, the constant loud parties and music, the infrastructure doesn't account for humid heat causing structural problems to facilities the locals cannot afford to control; bringing appliances voltage to funtion at below optimal levels making foodstuffs rotten, rooms to overheat or freeze, causing food poisoning, mold/mildew allergies, backed up sewage, unpleasant smells, insect infestations and excess algae ashore. The poverty and overdependecy on tourism makes the poor come out of the pueblos and become vendors, inundating the beaches with incessant offers for stuff one wouldn't buy. The timeshare hounds who wat you to commit one week a year to the Viva Wyndham Chain, are they crazy? To note, the resort is visited by folks from western and eastern Europe and tons of south Americans from Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, etc. South Americans are accustomed to the DR standards and given their currencies are stonger than the Dominican peso, I can see how vacationing in DR can be a bargain for them. The excursions are torture and uncomfortable with the lack of infrastructure. Last but not least, Food Poisoning! My spouse fell very ill from their food and drinks. I was more selective, bought my own drinks, stuck with wine, avoided foods from excursions.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A large vary of food to choose from... excellent service from the staff, very helpful.
Cons: there was really nothing we didn't like... everything was eventful.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I liked the location - it is a beautiful spot, with lovely gardens all well taken care of. Room right on the beach! Excursions left from hotel if you choose.
Cons: The buffet was ok - the fruit was great - other options less so. The speciality restaurants on site are better - but food is not the attraction here
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Beatifull place with nice palm trees and sea. Food is OK - nothing special but it will do. Lot of cats.
Cons: We just couldnt sleep because of the stupid music they played until 0:30. So loud that the basses went straight to the bones and the end was almost jumping! And we were accomodated in the quiter part of the hotel! You just don't want to pay for a sleep deprivation... Loud music was everywhere even during day and there was no place to hide from it and read a book or relax. The hotel is huge and is divided to some zones so be sure what you get for your money.. its possible that the sun beds you liked on photoes will actually be inaccesible for you. The animators are everywhere and some of them don't understand simple "NO". If you want anything, its impossible - everything is a problem for them. If you ask for a manager, he is not there. The employees expect tips. Otherwise are rude. Half of a hotel small like a cesspool. Untill noon, there is often no warm water in a shower. The toilets often leaks- in your room and on the beach.

Pros: Nice little hidden spot. Very quite in October, felt like we had the place to ourselves. Restaurant is good, not great.
Cons: We speak limited English and slightly hard to communicate, which is fine. Front desk gentleman was very nice. Only spent one night passing through. Not many amenities or things to do around the area. It was good. Probably wouldn't stay there again though.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The treatment of the personal because I went to propose to my girlfriend and they helped me a lot. Nice pool and very cure dinner room.

Pros: The Spa experience is a good take away for us.
Cons: Inaccurate information given from tour guides to push their products. Our servers were horrible at best. Seems there need to be some training to demonstrate that all customers should be treated equally. We observed on multiple occassions how we were treated differently in comparison to other guest. There won't be a repeat for us to Dreams La Romana.
Good 6.0
Pros: Birds and nature if they were any.
Cons: Noisy and breakfast was the same. Maybe should change theme of breakfast
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This resort was wonderful. The beach was absolutely gorgeous and huge! It took 5 minutes to walk the stretch from one end of the resort to the other. The food was top-notch - we tried 4 of the 7 restaurants while we were there and all the food we got was delicious! Tip - ask for recommendations - some of the plated meals at the restaurants were better than others, and the wait staff were able to easily point you in the right direction. Also, my husband is a big guy and learned that he could order 2 appetizers if he wanted to, which made him very happy. We did end up with the preferred package, which actually offered a lot of perks. We had our own private pool (with pool bar), our own private area on the beach, and a 'clubhouse' that we could go to for appetizers and drinks. We were there during march madness, and the clubhouse was extra nice because we could go there and get a prime couch spot to watch a couple of games. The bartender in the preferred club was also very good - he remembered my husband and my dad (we also travelled with my parents) and came and asked them if they wanted the same drinks each time we walked in. Speaking of bartenders, they were all very good - they made delicious drinks (try the drink of the day), were willing to customize them, and knew a wide variety of drinks (we ordered Caipirinhas and every bartender knew how to make them). Overall, this resort was wonderful, and we had a really great stay.
Cons: This resort was very large, which didn't bother us (more food, pool, and beach options), but could be a downside for some. The only thing that was slightly annoying was the number of people they let into the resort to sell you things. At other all-inclusives I've been at, they limit the sales function to the lobby, and at Dreams, there were people by the pool and on the beach walking around to try to get you to go on excursions. They were not overly pushy, so it wasn't a huge inconvenience. There is also an office in the resort where they try to sell you timeshares. One of the staff in the lobby tried to get us reeled in, but was willing to let us walk away (she was a little bit more pushy than the others who were selling things, but we only heard from her once - she didn't come up to us again after we walked away). Again, it's not the end of the world to say no and walk away from anyone trying to sell you something on vacation - it just may be a bigger deal to some people than to others.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Customer service was excellent. The staff was trained to accommodate any requests. Also the food was excellent and the selection of food was extensive.
Cons: At times vendors trying to sell time shares, excursions, etc. were a little intrusive, but probably not outside the limits when compared to other resorts.
Excellent 10.0

Pros: I love the space of the Room and the space of the pool......
Cons: The food service take super long, The pool is close early on the weekends ....
Good 6.7
Pros: I only eat cereal and fruit, which is fine, but it ought to be included, as elsewhere
Cons: I think there is only one receptionist speaks English, which I cope with google, but generally foreign receptionists speak at least english and other languages, I think only Dominican regularly use this hotel, but it is safe, as others look dubious .
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Amenities
Cons: Bed was a little too firm
Excellent 10.0
Cons: Excellent food, clean, the staff is amazing. The rooms are clean. I had a great stay.
Okay 4.2
Cons: The towels were dirty and the wifi never worked
Okay 5.4
Pros: Given the location, it was surprisingly quiet. The AC worked great. The pool area was comfortable. The restaurant food was OK. Parking is free and there’s a guard. Large working fridge a plus.
Cons: For starters, it took the front desk 3 attempts to figure out the charges. The room was large but the bedsheets didn’t even cover the mattress. The safe didn’t work and even after reporting it to the front desk, nothing was done about it. The faucet in the ‘kitchen’ area was detached from the sink. There was only 1 chair at the table. The bathroom sink drain plug had to be held ‘open’ (I used a pebble) to drain. There were no glasses anywhere. Finally, one of the views from our room was a large (we’re talking half a block square) dump - which was set afire one day - sending dark black smoke and who knows what toxins into the air. I know you’re probably thinking ‘First world problems’ - and you’re right. All I am saying is for the price and reputation as ‘the best’ hotel in the area, it didn’t match expectations. There are many less expensive hotels that are well-maintained (we stayed at several) throughout the island.
Mediocre 2.0
Cons: when I got to the hotel they didn't find my reserved and didn't give me atention to stay
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great place
Okay 5.4
Pros: The Silvestre is a nice small hotel, but it does have kiddies & adult pools, again small but adequate, it does have 24 hour security, very necessary, it is kept very clean , but that is it, one restaurant for breakfast and all meals, outdoors poolside OK. Free WiFi , fairly good connection, does drop and not speed we are used to.
Cons: This is the only hotel I have ever been in , where there was no kettle, milk & coffee supplied in the room, for that wake up cup , sink and fridge freezer supplied, but why, no utensils, cutlery or crockery. I chose hotel for its location suited me, but it was twice the price of others, and not even B&B, I will find a cheaper with B&B in future, I will not return, but find a better VFM , and spend more on taxi fare for my needs, needless to say, when you pay for breakfast, even at end of serving time, they have no change, even after 10% extra charge on bill

Pros: The young woman at the reception did her best to make me feel comfortable.
Cons: It was loud, lots of young men lettering in the hallways. I wore earplugs and stayed in my room. It's an unsafe part of town. No view of the river.
Good 6.7
Pros: Friendly personell, Lots of Space in the room and breakfast and dinner included
Cons: Cold shower during my stay, a bit noisy
