Super place. Converted Victorian railway cottage in a quiet spot. Immaculate, friendly, spacious. Couldn’t really ask for more.
Location, setting, accommodation, food, hosts were excellent couldn't do enough for us
Nothing we didn't like
Very comfortable bed.
Alan was very hospitable. Bed was very comfortable and the bathrooms were beautiful. Alan even help de-snow my car in the morning and ensured I made it to the main road (jumping out to walk back home!) as I've never driven in snow before. Excellent BnB and fantastic host - can really recommend a stay here.
Located out of town - greate quiet location, and good for star gazing; no light polution. Breakfast was excellent - tables are shared with other guests, and we enjoyed a good conversation. The guest wing is a new extension to the original house, and is built in a similar style. All amenities are high spec - felt more like a hotel than a B&B. The bathroom was beautifully finished with high end tiling and furniture. The hosts are very friendly and helpfully, without being overbearing. Parking is onsite and good.
The shower could have been more powerful. Rooms are a little on the small size - the beds are decribed as "large double" which means 5 foot.
