The breakfast was really plain, not much variation. But it was ok!
Everything was really good!
This place feels like home the moment you step in the door. The staff are so warm and welcoming unlike any hostel I've ever stayed in. There are many small details that make you feel looked-after, such as the free breakfast that only finishes once everyone has eaten, even if you wake up at 12pm! There is a great social vibe here - I met many great people and would totally recommend this place for solo travelers. I had so much fun I extended twice for a total of 11 nights!
Internet connection could be more reliable, however I found even mobile data to be spotty so it could be a regional issue. Some noise at night from the street but reception offers free earplugs in case it bothers you.
The hosts are the nicest people you will ever meet! I didn't get all of their names every single one was a joy to talk to and amazingly helpful. The warmth and hospitality of the Portuguese at its finest. :) I'm always apprehensive with shared rooms but everyone (guests and staff) is so friendly and nice and respectful, I didn't mind at all. The bed is actually quite comfy for a bunk bed and the room is well ventilated and cool -- and that's saying something for the middle of summer in this part of the world! The lockers are quite big and secure, and can fit cabin-size luggage if necessary although most people just leave theirs by the bed. There are a number communal areas which are well kept and decorated, some of them outdoors. The kitchen is also big and well equipped. It is quite a steep hike to reach the hotel, but I wouldn't even write it down as a negative because it's part of the charm and if you're gonna explore hilly Lisbon, this is an appropriate introduction :)
Very Very friendly staff Great location to move around Everything was fine. Especially they have lots of activities to enjoy with. I totally recommend to reserve there.
Fantastic staff & crepes for breakfast!
