Very close to the train, short distance to nice places and parks.
Great location, less than 5 min walk to Earl’s Court tube station. The road is pretty quiet at night even though we were at a room right at the front of the property. All staff very polite and helpful. Breakfast was decent for the price and nice and hot. Great to still have tea making facilities in the room also.
Room was clean but there was the odd nook and cranny that was a bit dusty and a small hair in the shower. But the price for the overnight stay you get what you pay for. The iron in our room was a great addition however the iron leaked boiling hot water nearly scolding me so avoided using it.
I've stayed in this neighbourhood before because its very convenient for the Design Museum, a variety of restaurants nearby and convenience for the Tube. So a hotel here is often my choice.
The WiFi went kaput! The shower was faulty. There was even a MOUSE in my room! In short, not a Dreamtel, more like Nightmaretel.
Staff were very friendly
Room was small but did accommodate our needs
The hotel room had good air con.
To say that this hotel is underwhelming would have to be the understatement of the year. I must admit the photos that are displayed on the website are the complete opposite of what you will find and for the first time in my life it feels as though I’ve been catfished by a hotel. Walls covered in damp, wallpaper peeling off, everything covered in dust, outdated decor that is seemingly falling apart and a horrible smell that lingers throughout the entire hotel (the closest comparison I could make would be urine). And not to mention the room was so poorly laid out and cramped that we couldn’t even fully open the bathroom door. And if we thought the looks of our room were the worst thing we were very wrong... I ran the tap for a few minutes to wash my hands, before realising the sink was blocked and was bringing up a strangers hair shavings!! Absolutely disgusting and made me feel physically sick. Oh and a big thank you to the stranger who barged into our room without knocking, 2 hours before our check out time!
