Great design and vibe to the hotel. The front desk staff was friendly. They have a bar/lounge that was great for people watching. The location to the station is hard to pass up if you have an early flight the next morning.
The room was a little small compared to other hotels in London. Rooms can be hard to find.
The location of this hotel is great. Right across from Paddington Station, with lots of restaurants and take-out options in easy walking distance. The rooms are small, but have everything you need in them, and are very clean. The coffee is great, and the staff were helpful and friendly.
We had some trouble with the shower not draining and causing some water damage, but this was ultimately fixed. The lack of power outlets anywhere near a mirror makes it interesting to use the hair dryer.
offered a coffee shop, excellent water filler - sparkling and plain, communal free tea and coffee area and a small bar/supper room where breakfast was also served. Clean - bathrooms updated good hot showers and beds were comfortable. Location - fab - minutes walk to Paddington Station.
Small dark rooms in a labyrinth of narrow passages.
Bed comfy, bed linen and towels great quality. Vegan choice in menu
The coffee too bitter
Not much.... the room was a decent size for European standards. The bathroom was somewhat upgraded.
Absolutely terrible hotel. The reception area is actually a coffee shop and the person checking you in is at a table with a laptop. It looks extremely unprofessional and to be honest not secure at all. The room was decent the bathroom had absolutely no counter space at all but it was somewhat updated. The windows from the room were not even remotely adequate, they are not sealed at all so you could hear EVERYTHING going on out side. The hotel is on a extremely busy street with a ton of pubs so you can imagine the noise level we had in our room. My husband and I both slept with ear plugs and we still heard everything. The bed was so hard that we woke up with aching backs.
