The location is excellent, easy access to whatever you wish to see. The breakfast is rather pedestrian, nothing special. For breakfast, go outside for other choices.
There was nothing that we didn't like. We enjoyed the entire experience.
The location in Trafalgar Square was very well centrally-located to the attractions we visited in London and access to the Underground at Charing Cross was great. The Square and surrounding area was extremely crowded, but the hotel somehow felt like an oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle. The bed, pillows and shower were great! We chose the breakfast included option, and felt like that was a good value. Breakfast was much more than just the standard Continental fare; there were hot items available as well. Lastly, all the staff was friendly and helpful!
Lobby bar/restaurant had the worse service imaginable.
The rooftop bar was quite a novelty! The view was great! Seeing the giant ferris wheel "lit up" against the night sky was remarkable! As was the trendy "urban" decor! All of the staff were quite pleasant. This hotel seemed to be a great meeting place for "locals," as they did have a private party that was attended by 40 to 50 people. Also, it seems to attract young professionals (mid "20s to 30s")!
The pillows were "thin!" We had to use two...such a pity, especially when the beds were super comfortable, and all other amenities so pleasing! Lastly, the breakfast buffet was NOT worth the $25 to $30 that it cost, there was nothing exceptional about it! But the other meals were enjoyable.
Great pillows & bed. Thomas was fantastic & very helpful in directions. The check in staff did not advise that reservations were necessary for the rooftop bar - our 3 guests arrived, my husband requested the lift they called up & said it was ok. When my husband & guests got to the rooftop, they were seated in the restaurant. I managed to get it sorted out & we were “squeezed” in - very embarrassing. Your staff needs to advise hotel guests that RESERVATIONS are required.

Right at the corner of Trafalgar Square and St. James is The Trafalgar St. James London, Curio Collection by Hilton. The hotel is packed with luxury and is located in the center of all of the action in London. The design is beautiful and bold and the service is next level.
There are 131 rooms at this hotel that include suites, as well. All rooms have a mini bar and coffee making machines. There are high ceilings that make the rooms airier and some rooms have views overlooking the famed Trafalgar Square through windows that are 3-paned to keep the noise out. The decor in the rooms is comfortable but reflective of the city of London.
The Trafalgar St. James London, Curio Collection by Hilton has a location that gives guests more than enough choices for places to eat. The hotel also has options though. For drinks and coffee, guests can check out Biblio. It’s set like a private club with deep armchairs and an intimate atmosphere. The Rooftop serves delicious cocktails and also plates meant to be shared or small menu items for snacking. The view is spectacular and dramatic at night. The Trafalgar Dining Room is another choice for food and drinks.
Guests can walk to so many of London’s main attractions from this location. Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and Nelsons Column are all within walking distance of the hotel. There’s tons of good shopping on Oxford Street and Regents Street nearby. London hosts many festivals and events that the concierge can provide information for too.
The Trafalgar St. James London hotel puts guests in the middle of London. Everything travelers visit London to see is very close to this amazing location.
