Breakfast was well stocked continental, location is right outside the walls of Lucca which is perfect for exploring. Also a 5 minute walk from train station. Free bike hire is a massive bonus
Room was small, but we booked a cosy room so weren't expecting anything glamorous.

Location was great for us as we arrived in Lucca by train (10 mins easy walk from the station) and we picked up a hire car a few days later from europcar (5-10 mins walk). 10 mins walk into the historic centre with it's piazza's, bars, restaurants and shops. Room was of a good standard - comfortable and clean with aircon. Breakfast was also great with decent choice and quality. We did not eat in the restaurant but we loved the bar next door (Bar Celide) and early evening provides a superb aperitivo buffet complimentary when you buy drinks.
