If you are in the middle of the row it is really a hassle to have access to your laptop."

Once in customer service line, we looked and saw that many of the other passengers on our flight also never received their luggage. We estimated that 20-25% of the people on that flight did not receive their luggage as they were in line with us for the same problem. Hard to understand how so many pieces of luggage could have been overlooked and not loaded on our flight. Obviously there is a huge gap in their quality system to ensure mistakes like this are prevented."

Lost luggage as the crew insisted we check it despite a 45 min short lay over that with a delay would NOT be enough time to load bags!!! On a four hour flight crew came by with drinks one time despite a smooth flight so no stay in seat restrictions. All around American Airlines has poorly trained staff with some exceptions the crew seem ready to be doing g anything other than customer service!!!

The flight was canceled due to "maintenance" and they booked me on a new flight...for 16 hours later on the NEXT DAY. That was not acceptable for me and my travel companion since we have work today. There were no other flights and rental cars were scarce. I was able to book us tickets on a bus, and incurred costs for the bus tickets and the transportation to the bus stop. I want to be compensated for those costs AND refunded for the price of the ticket."

However, coming to the gate an hour before boarding the personnel working gate the said he was having computer difficulties and could not get me a seat and it would be 10 min. I continued to return till boarding to find out I had no seat and I was on standby. Upon going to customer service they replied the airline oversold tickets and every airline does this as if to make this practice ok. Well being in sales myself and if I were to sell x amount of product to one customer ( or several) I better make sure I have it all there to deliver. People rely on you schedule wise. It nearly shot a meeting I had to make in the foot. Very disappointed with the airline and the way things were handled."

Cons: "I’m not a fan of the constant PA’s during the descent. Playing a video about arrival procedures for an airport is extremely superfluous. Nobody pays attention and you just have to follow the signs when you get there."

Pros: "Me and my husband were upgraded from world traveler plus to business class, which we are thankful for"
Cons: "We were unable to order special meal online and were told to contact onboard crew for meals. When we contacted them inflight, they said they don’t have meals!!! And we were left to starve the whole night, while food was served for all around us. The really shocking thing is none of the crew had the courtesy to offer some snacks or bread. These especially when we were seated in business class!"

Pros: "The food was adequate and when they brought drinks they were free. With the person in front of me reclining her seat I could not have my cup of water on the tray without it being tipped because it intruded too much. i am assuming the seat was broken as that would be silly to have a seat recline so much that you couldn't use the tray table properly."
Cons: "48 minutes and I turned the light off and on for a flight attendant numerous times. I finally had to speak out across the plane since the people blocking me in were sleeping. This was just to get a glass of water. Service was deplorable. People kept walking to the galley rather than the flight attendants attending. A sad state of affairs. I paid for extra leg room but apparently a plane change put me in a different seat which did not give extra leg room."

Cons: "Was given the wrong flight information. The email I received the day of the flight was incorrect and now I have no way of getting to Bergen until tomorrow. I am forced to spend the night in London. This is inexcusable."
Cons: "When we went to check in on 6/30, the website said all legs of our reservation have been flown. We had to call British Airways and then the booking company (Webjet) to finally get things sorted out. British Airways counted our flight from JFK to CDG as a "no show" but in reality, we had just missed our connecting flight because of so many delays at JFK. We had received no notification from Webjet or British Airways of these changes and were told that our taxes were refunded for the return tickets."
Cons: "Could not get seat assigned until I was at the gate. Same thing occurred on the way to Edinburg. Not sure what the issue is but it happened both ways and was a problem."
Pros: "The mechanics of the flight were OK but the use of a shuttle bus and steps in LHR was uncomfortable"
Cons: "The option to buy food etc, as the only option on a short midmorning flight struck me as a penny-pinching and mean-spirited economy that is creeping gradually more pervasively into British Airways service these days."

Cons: "I got switched to American Airlines last minute, which is a sister company of British Airways, apparently. This was 1 of the 2 worst flights that I have ever been on, only second to my other booked flight for this trip home. This flight was 7+ hours long and it was nothing short of horrible. The seats were extremely uncomfortable and barely went back at all. The male flight attendant was clearly annoyed and was short with every person who would ask for anything. He would roll his eyes at every request by customers. At one point I saw him literally toss a sandwich into a customers lap because they were turned the other way and didn't hear him when he asked if they wanted one. There was no way to watch anything unless you had your own device and had downloaded it yourself prior to the flight."
Pros: "787-9 new aircraft with the total lack of space in economy, my worst transatlantic crossing in thirty years. DVT waiting to happen."
