The luxury Victorian-style Bahia Principe Samana Don Pablo Collection hotel is located on the Samana Coast of the Dominican Republic. Surrounded by leafy green areas on a fabulous beach of turquoise waters, this hotel is a pleasure for all the senses. Its elegant and manorial style and exceptional service make it a great choice for an extraordinary vacation in the Caribbean.
Pros: Beautiful environment. Nice private beach. Great breakfasts and dinners. Easy to get seated at pools, beaches, and buffet restaurants. Great bar service on the beach.
Cons: You can't book specialty dinners until you arrive, and they were booked the first night we got there. Bed was rock hard. Lunch buffets were not very good. All-inclusive was nice, but the only wines included were house wines which weren't good, and no light beer. Our biggest complaint was the discovery, after we got there, that there was a big push to sell you on their vacation club/time-share, and the transportation company they use to get you to and from the hotel also tries to sell you excursions.
The Luxury Bahia Principe Cayo Levantado Don Pablo Collection is located on an idyllic island in the Dominican Republic where luxury and exclusivity are the main characteristics. Idyllic beaches, relaxation and comfort will become the core focus of your holiday.
Cons: yes pools closed early and bringing guest in was a huge problem and never had a problem the night before
Pros: I loved the professional and courteous staff. The facilities were kept up well. I was blown away by the variety of food choices.
Cons: I had a broken light fixture and a few lights weren't operable. The gym could use some new eguipment. Lastly, I thought the wifi cost was a bit outrageous and I was disappointed when I found out that we were only allowed a hour of complimentary service.
Love the location and setting of the resort. The beach is close to the pool and they have lots of activities during the day. It was a great experience for our family.
Pros: Great food, atmosphere and staff. The rooms are spacious and updated. The entertainment was good too. A top winner for us.
Cons: Everything is centered to the front desk lobby so even when you leave the pool to go to the room you need to go thru the front desk lobby. But that should not stop you from going.
the hotel was average. The food needs improvement. you should warn guest if they are driving the road to hotel is dangerous. No iron in room. The nightly activities are far from the hotel lobby. The Club is geared for guest between the ages of 16 and 18.
Pros: Most of the staff was friendly and provided assistance when requested.
Cons: Several room to far night activities, some of front desk need customer service training disengaged ,the tailing of guess by Juan for the Privilege Club, limited sitting at the Pescador Rest. activities geared more for European guest.
