9.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Music
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The beaches nearby, the heated swimming pool, the view from our room, the “extras” the hotel offers including customizable pillows and aromas, and the service.
Cons: The lack of available excursions available and the entertainment was not good.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great service, hotel room and place.
Cons: a little bit far from facilities in the city, however, it was an all inclusive experience, so that wasn´t the purpose of the trip. everything was great

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very nicely laid out, with nice landscaping, in a quiet location near the beach. The owners are very pleasant multi-lingual people who do their best to please. We enjoyed walking around in the area.
Cons: Hmmm, didn't like the coffee much, but we're picky.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect place for stay in DR. The hosts were very, very kind and helpful. There were good drinks served at the bar and the breakfast was tasty. It was near the town Las Galeras and there was an option of ordering dinner at the bar and getting it straight from the restaurant. Thank you!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: we loved the location and the relaxed quiet atmosphere
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a very cozy hotel tucked away in paradise. The property is beautifully maintained and the room was very comfortable. The owners were extremely helpful in giving me advice or helping me organize activities.
Cons: As is common all over the island, the internet wasn’t great. I had to take video calls with my employer and needed to use data to set up a hotspot but if you have less intense needs. The WiFi there would probably be sufficient.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Liked it. Clean rooms. Beautiful garden and is very close to one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen (Playa Aserradero). Staff very nice and friendly (Francesco and Andrea). Pool and other amenities. BBQ available on my request.
Cons: Jacuzzi was not clean.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I fully recommend this friendly hotel to those who are searching for a quiet place in private atmosphere. The resort is overall visually very appealing, with a small, nice garden. The bungalows are functional, but inviting, the rooms are airy so that an aircon is superfluous. The only source of noise at night is the quaking of toads in the neighbourhood, which is a nice contrast to the rather loud everyday life in the Dominican Republic... Breakfast ist sumptuous, with very good coffee. Best of all: The owners and the staff are really welcoming, friendly and helpful, we almost felt like home. I'd go back there any time!
Cons: The bed is very comfortable, but might be a little tight for tall people.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Francesco & Andrea are terrific!! Very friendly, helpful and sweet; you will want to hang out and talk with them, like everyone does. I have traveled to at least 25 different countries and I have never found a place more relaxing. The rooms are comfortable, quiet and clean and the bed was perfect. If you want to hang out and read, hike or swim and eat, come here! If you want to party late or shop a lot, go somewhere else. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about 21 Palms. It is paradise.
Cons: The cheese isn’t so great but the coffee is great! I had so much breakfast that I never even bought lunch.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It was a very nice experience. Very beautiful natural surroundings. The hosts Francesco and Andrea are great people, very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for peace, this place is definetely the best option to stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staying at 21 palms was one of the best stays of our lives. We were welcomed by a very friendly Luis who showed us to our room to which we were pleasantly surprised as the construction of the houses are to a much higher quality than other establishments we’d previously stayed in, in the Dominican Republic. It was a spacious, comfortable and well equipped room which we very much appreciated. We met Francesco in the evening whom was very helpful and kind, providing us with all kinds of information and advice in order to make sure we get the most and best out of our stay in las Galeras. Breakfast was always great consisting of fresh fruits, eggs, sandwiches and a cake. Moreover, we enjoyed many evenings of great conversations with Francesco and on one night, over a barbecue. The facilities at 21 Palms are one of the best we’ve come across and the location perfect as it is directly at the beach among the palm trees. I highly recommend 21 Palms and insist one to not hesitate, as 21 Palms was the best place we stayed in during our trip in the Dominican Republic. We surely will be back again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Managers, maids...they are more like friends who will do everything for you.Very relaxed feeling of being in a nice spot with good people! Breakfast, always fresh , tasty and plenty.
Cons: I like everything

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Incredible views, very clean, prompt service by bartenders constantly refilling drinks etc
Cons: By 10 pm entertainment done for the evening and although a disco and casino is available not much to do late night
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Food - No diversity. No food from SAMANA available. Room - I asked for a Junior Suit and I was installed in an area that I had to get ride to get in and out to the hill. I did not feel confortable doing it. Plus, the view was poor, they could get me what I requested in my original reservation. It would be more pleasant, if we would stay in the main building since the first day. Instead of installing us, in an area called VIP, it was nothing of VIP there. Going up and down the hill. Restaurant - During the four days. It was impossible to get reservations, there were one restaurant open per night. It was very uncomfortable. I had to be in a weating list........ I liked the location of the hotel. I would like to get a better view and logistic, and a safer location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mostly the view, but the stuff and the food were amazing as well
Cons: There is nothing negative I can say about this place except that the pool hours should be extended.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff nice, dining room very big and ornate, not like a cafeteria. Food good and selections plentiful. Room was big and comfortable with a great bed and loved the view and the balcony. Free mini bar in room with soda, water, and bear. Many activities by the pool during the day and at the hotel bar at night.
Cons: Pool water cool and even the Jacuzzi's in the pools were not even warm.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The waitress he is the best always lafing happy and had worke I recommend for better position
7.0 Good
Pros: Just as pictured on the website. I loved the pools. The spa was absolutely wonderful ❤ we received massages from hotel employees. Front desk agents were very professional. Staff great waiters.
Cons: Food was horrific @ the buffet. Same food everyday. 3 restaurants but only 1 open per night. Very few staff members speak English. No one acknowledges you when they see you. Bartender needs to learn new drinks. Entertainment director needs to up his game.
7.0 Good
Cons: We lost water for almost a full day I thought I booked for two in the room o line I added the name but when we got there it was an extra $98 us per day for my spouse. So out price doubled. We were very unhappy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super clean, beautiful accommodations, wonderful staff, great food
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This resorts is in a great location with a excellent view ,the staff of this resorts are always giving a attention to your need. Foot is great . Over all I love it .A+
8.3 Excellent
Pros: on premises restaurant options. food variety, courtesy of hotel personnel, evening entertainment
Cons: We didn't have the nice beach vacation as expected. During daytime a crew of workers with green T-shirts racked the beach to remove algae while loading several trucks with dirt. This scenery was far from being quiet and relaxing. Reception employees took note of our concerns and said there was nothing they could do other than elevate to management. We were persuaded to consider paid excursions to nearby beaches.
6.8 Good
Pros: Food, beach pools
Cons: Dirty tub, no ice machine, having to take shuttle from rooms to main hotel.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The problem with the eggs was, the chef never smile for the Dominican guess and this is very sad, you say good morning or thank and he never answer back, this is very rude.
Cons: The pescado and vella Vista restaurants was grate the staff really professional especially julian is friendly because he is also nice in the buffet and victory y dario at the reception bar are very friendly, the activities staff chocolate and chi guagua are good but in overall the shows in the night are very poor for 5 start hotel.
6.5 Good
Pros: I loved everything from the food to the beach that everything is close and the excellent customer service.
Cons: The only thing that I didn't like was that they never went to clean the room despite notifying them to clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location it's amazing, best beach in Las Terrenas. We rented a four weels quad in the center with Genaro Rent a Car 1809-660-5580 he brings the quad to the hotel, it really made special be able to leave the hotel and explore different beaches around and the little center, it's beautiful. We feel quite safe all the times. We left every day to explore it's 20 minutes from any other beach so close! I loved Las Terrenas! Can't wait to get back.
Cons: Food is just ok. We stayed in the bungalows and the AC box it's on the side of the room so you can hear if any neighbors have AC on, some people leave on all day, they could have put on the front of the bungalow but on the side makes the noise and it's so sad, the nature and birds and silence it's what you expect on vacation. We called the hotel and asked for a private Bangalow, there was no neighbors for a few days, luck us, but when neighbors arrived not so much privacy, but nothing wins the private pool amazing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The buffet and respectful, fun staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The food, the beach , the staff , the rooms everything is just perfect!
Cons: Nothing! Everything was perfect!
6.8 Good
Pros: The room inside was cleaned and the bed was comfy.
Cons: Even though it was an all inclusive, the room service menu was extremely short, only 4 items, and it didn’t include any drinks alcoholic or non alcoholic. Bartenders don’t come an attend the guest while at the pool or the beach, this makes it uncomfortable for someone that’s paying for an all inclusive to relax and it’s almost impossible to do so when you have to go get your drink. The pool in the room was always dirty, therefore, we were never able to use it. The hotels restaurant weren’t open all together, only one at a time due to low census supposedly. This is unacceptable since we pay for an all inclusive and we didn’t get to enjoy the whole experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beach, facilities, service
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast had a huge variety of foods. Very hot coffee.
Cons: Disco was real loud at night.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: I really like the rooms were very clean and the staff was very helpful
Cons: No complaint
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is kept clean, there’s not far walking distances to go to the restaurants or the beach, the staff is kind and always in the disposition to help, the food was simply awesome, lots of options, the buffet is sometimes even better than the a la carte restaurants. The Mediterranean one was just awesome tho’!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The areas, the room I was assigned, the staff, the entertainment, the food, the beach, and the weather.
Cons: The service at the buffet... they are very distracted... do not serve.... you have to call them. If you seat at the used table they do not come to clean it and put forks and napkins. The rest of service is OK.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Rooms, beds, pillows, landscape, pool area and restaurant options
Cons: Staff can be more attentive and friendly

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything amazing place
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The view!!!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I've stayed here before and I absolutely loved it! On this occasion, I booked it as a gift for my parent's wedding anniversary and they were super happy with this place. They said it was luxurious and premium! They had the mountain view which is still nice if you'd compare it with the ocean view. The staff was continuously communicating with me through WhatsApp to make sure everything was as we planned - I paid with my brothers equally the stay and they didn't have any problem with fulfilling this and many other requests. I definitely recommend this!
Cons: The only complain they had was with the AC in their room. Apparently on the living room it was cooling very well, but not in the room. Rather than that, everything else was perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Anything about this hotel was great
Cons: I have nothing bad to say
3.5 Mediocre
Pros: Facilities looks good!
Cons: The service is so poor!!! , no WiFi, bedrooms key never works good, the fact that there is not beach close to the hotel.... and customer service does not meet my expectation Cero entertainment that is awful!!!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is gorgeous!!! I went there for my birthday for 3 nights. The room was like a mini studio with full kitchen, fridge, table, coffee maker. We had two balconies with mountain view. The room was nicely decorated. The staff was very nice and helped us arrange a day trip to Cayo Levantado (courtesy of the hotel) which was lovely!!! The breakfast is a la carte and they have a great menu. I highly recommend the hotel for any gateway with family of couple.
Cons: The room key never worked for the entire stay. It was very annoying as I had to go to the reception and ask one staff to accompany me to my door...
8.3 Excellent

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything in this hotel is awesome and great. The grounds, beach, rooms, furnitures, everything in room worked right the views and garden were perfect for me. Food is impressive good. Reception and Public Relations are very helpful. Animation team is very good and funny.
Cons: The service at the Buffet. Very bad and extremely poor service. They did not make me feel welcome. Never asked me do you want more water or coffee? I had to wait a lot to be served... very disappointed with this. The rest is OK. A suggestion: use the theater for the shows.., all nights were raining and they gave the shows outdoors all seat wet... all people looking shelter. Please don´t use the Village if the weather is rainy!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: it's people
Cons: The drinks, they have to upgrade them
9.5 Excellent
Cons: Air conditioner could have worked better. Room was not cool enough.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room were spacious and the beds were wide and comfortable. I could sleep quietly at night. There were enough places at the beach to lay down and relax. On top, I liked the good attitude of the people and the food variety at the buffet.
Cons: I came by car from Santo Domingo, and was left long time outside waiting at the gate for the confirmation from the guard that I could pass to reception even if I gave him the booking code.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice suite nice jacuzzi and balcony, food variety and quality are excellent, this hotel is really five stars
Cons: Nothing
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: nothing

6.0 Good
Pros: Nature
Cons: Staff in restaurant was different and not always well educated(trained), at booking time reception thought I needed one bed, even I asked two double beds and it was confirmed by emails. Staff in reception very poor experienced (for about 15 minutes( ! )couldn't find my details). Taps and shower didn't see maintenance for a long time. So called satellite TV just Spanish except 4-5 channels( even National Geographic)
8.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best B&B in Galeras! Grounds were beautiful, lush and well groomed. Staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. Food was divine. Beach was just a ten minute walk away, and shops and restaurants were just five minutes. Bed was very comfortable and linens were fresh.
7.0 Good
Pros: The chalets are pretty
Cons: When I and my spouse came to the place, they try to give us a different rom than we first rent through booking... so we had to pay a extra $20 per each night to get the facilities we wanted from the beginning
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very tropical. Nice ambiance
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I totally fell in love with this accommodation in Las Galeras. This tropical village has definitely it's own magic and romantic atmosphere, especially during the sunset or sunrise. Very helpful and friendly staff, free parking, small pool. I recommend you to try a tropical breakfast, really tasty and served on the porch. I appreciated also the hot shower as in many hotels in Dominican Republic it is a problem. Fridge, drinking water and kitchen utensils provided in the common room. Las Galeras offers many restaurants and bar and it is close to the most beautiful beaches.
Cons: Be aware of mosquitoes, there is also an extra fee if you want to pay by card. Poor WiFi signal in the room and common room where we stayed.
5.5 Okay
Pros: We loved the tranquility and relaxed atmosphere of Chalet Tropical Village. There were numerous palm trees planted throughout the facility and had a nice small garden. It also offered several hammocks where people could relax and lie back to unwind.
Cons: The facility was rather small and consisted of a couple of cabins with 3 or 4 bedrooms. It also had a shared kitchen area and some rooms had a shared bathroom. The bedrooms offered little privacy as you could hear the conversations of the people next door, and there was no air conditioning and no soap nor shampoo in the bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfasts were varied, delicious and beautifully served. The owner, Sarah, was helpful as was the rest of the staff. ❤️
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything - the greenery, the appliances, the big kitchen in the common area, the pool, the hammock, the airy room (no windows and wood pannels that move to close or open), the people who did everything for us to have a great stay... The Challet provides very good online materials, as well as on site to get oriented in the hotel procedures. They also answer additional questions, even ones not related to the stay, and they help with organizing additional activities.
Cons: Can't think of anything

Cons: Too much smoking going on.

Pros: Location and amazing staff
Cons: Air conditioning could be better
7.5 Good
Pros: Staff Exclusivity of the location / privacy Peaceful hotel
Cons: Only plastic cups on the beach and very old/used Bad wifi Food was disapointing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's easy to say the landscaping is beautiful because it is. Most of the staff was very friendly. We made friends with the STAFF more often than with other guests. One staff member gave my wife some nail polish. Another, who is now a Facebook friend with my wife, gave us a full bottle of Mamajuana...Delicious especially when made by Pamela Johnson down at the Mediterranean or the Italian restaurant. Pamela, Yecleidy and Luz where excellent! Friendly beyond someone that is suppose to be serving you. Pamela gave us the Mamajuana bottle to take home Yecleidy was celebrating her birthday (which we provided a nice big tip for) and Luz was always there with a smile. These were the Top 3 staff members at this hotel in our opinion. Not sure if I will butcher his name or not but Lebeirny (young man) was also so friendly and always went out of his way for us. In fact my wife left her purse at a restaurant one night only to have it returned to us the next day after he had found it and turned it in. Food was better than average for all-inclusive. Don Pablo was actually our least favorite. The service was excellent but the food was average to slightly below average for a steak house. Italian and Mediterranean were much better. Make sure you get reservations at the restaurants as soon as you arrive! I have seen it in other reviews but there were always chairs available at the pool and beach. There is a private beach for the hotel on once side of the island and a public beach on the other. We walked to the public beach one time. It was very nice and not crowded at all. In fact, very empty. A beautiful beach. We just preferred the hotel beach and we were there every day of our stay at one time or another and spent 7 hours there on our last day. We are tippers and tipped everyone all the time. Just $1 goes a long way. These people work 12 to 14 hours a day and make something around $250 a month. That's with about 3 days off.
Cons: The place was fantastic but I will list a few details that are silly and picky and did not detract from our experience but could be improved. Lighting in the closet was missing. A shelf in the shower would be nice. Sliding back door contact to engage the AC was not working perfectly but I just had to squeeze it each time a closed the door to make it work. Dancing at the beach was canceled every night but one when we were there due to weather...bummer. Pina Colada mix was not the best. More music in the pool or beach area would be nice. The vendors on the way to the public beach are too pushy. Maybe the biggest disappointment was the lack of snorkeling at the hotel or anywhere at DR. Saxophone player was too loud.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful environment. Nice private beach. Great breakfasts and dinners. Easy to get seated at pools, beaches, and buffet restaurants. Great bar service on the beach.
Cons: You can't book specialty dinners until you arrive, and they were booked the first night we got there. Bed was rock hard. Lunch buffets were not very good. All-inclusive was nice, but the only wines included were house wines which weren't good, and no light beer. Our biggest complaint was the discovery, after we got there, that there was a big push to sell you on their vacation club/time-share, and the transportation company they use to get you to and from the hotel also tries to sell you excursions.

Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. 9.5 Excellent
Pros: Yoga classes were awesome - big wooden structure with an amazing view was build for this purpose. Big terraces and rooms, flower decorations, proper shower (don't forget to flip the switch), warm and welcoming staff, overwhelming views and pretty close to a few bars, restaurants and so on (village ca. 4 min by foot). The beach called Playita is also close by but before heading off to it you need to get a key at the front desk first (or climb over a small wall). All in all we had a fantastic time at this quiet hotel and would have loved to stay a little bit longer!
Cons: Laundry service was expensive but not adequate - clothes were not thoroughly washed and one of my best shirts went missing. The shirt was returned after a short inquiry.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The views were beyond compare! Breathtaking! And the staff friendly and accommodating. Thank you Fernando and Carolina. This is the place to be to get away from it all. This is what a tropical paradise looks like.
Cons: Bathrooms are in need of updating and the showers cold.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The beach at the hotel is awesome. Staff is friendly and service oriented. Breakfast made fresh to order. Close to town and businesses.
Cons: Furniture could use a little updating.

Pros: Stunning property! Total relaxation, beautiful grounds, fantastic food at the restaurant on property, AMAZING beaches close by. Truly paradise. Highly recommend Room #7! Magical!
Cons: Everything was perfect.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Front office staff were very helpful
Cons: The beds were too hard. The food was average.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The view is really good.
Cons: The price is divorced of the value of the facility. The breakfast is not included in the 216 dollar room, that smell terrible and don't have a TV and everything is old fashion, the water smell bad. Plus the moskitos. I ordered two omelette and one side of frech toast and they charged me three breakfast a total of 60 dollars. I don't recommend this place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Villa Serena is a great deal! The property is ocean-front with a small private beach. They offered 8am yoga, as well as bike, kayak, and snorkel rentals. It is just a short walk into the main town. The hotel was quite peaceful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location to the beach and the front desk staff was very courteous and friendly.
Cons: The in-house restaurant could be improved especially breakfast. And the fan in our room (#17) was rather noisy.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location is superb, staff were lovely, grounds are very well kept. Great oceans views from the balcony, the private beach is perfect.
Cons: Mosquitos love me, so nets around the beds would have been useful. Bathrooms are basic, and in need a bit of work, minor leaks etc.

Pros: Very nice little hotel, close to the beach and downtown but still very quiet. Fresh renovated rooms, super silent aircondition. Kitchen, terrace with nice view over the harbor and beach. Pool in the garden. Very nice staff and family. Nice break fast with eggs bread and marmelade, a plate of fresh fruit... We had a good time here and come back at any time.
Cons: Everything fine, apart maybe: we were her in total off season and there was some renovation work coming with noise at day time. Ok for us, as we did not stay in the room at working times.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The condo wasn't fancy but it was super cute, large and comfortable for our family of four. We only stayed two nights, but the set up (kitchen and porch, etc) seems really well suited to stay for a longer visit. Breakfast was good (the view at breakfast was beautiful) and having bottled water in the room was helpful. The location was very good - good restaurants and beach in walking distance (although we drove to some of the more scenic beaches in the area). The owner was very friendly and took time to give us suggestions.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Dominique and his staff were very gracious, kind, and helpful. Dominique was very informative about the area and Extremely helpful planning daily activities. Thank you, we will definitely come back!

Pros: THE BREAKFAST was perfect, coffee, juice, bread, jams, eggs, that was the best part! The staff was wonderful very informative, our toilet didn't work when we first walked in the room and they immediately fixed it. Really quiet, romantic, you feel more like a guest in someone's house than like you're at a hotel. We were free to use the dining tables outside to eat, they even allowed us to use the kitchen microwave and refrigerator for our things. Great stay:)
Cons: You have to pay extra for air conditioning, but the fan was strong, so we didn't really need it. There was absolutely no sign of hot water in the shower for the 3 days we were there.
