The breakfast was amazing. It was great to use hotel bikes for free. I've had a room without window. The illuminated wall compensated for the lack of daylight, though. The room was very clean and quiet.
Most of the time there was only one person at the reception and many people waiting in line. This is quite surprising for such a big hotel. It was impossible to turn down the air-conditioning the room. It is a big hotel with travelling groups crowding the common areas every now and then.
Its clean and very nice !
The location was perfect for me as I needed access to the local business and urban area. I liked the room very much. I thought service of the hotel room was good. I thought the breakfast too was good, offering a wide variety of foods.
For a 6 day stay, it would have been better to have been given a room with a view of the area rather than facing directly into the adjoining office part of the hotel. That was not pleasing at all (especially as the buildings are so close together, with privacy a possible issue). With regard to the breakfast, I thought it lacked some essential hospitality service, with cutlery and serviettes provided on each table. This is usual in just about every hotel I have stayed in. Instead guests had to go hunting for cutlery and serviettes which were not always straightforward to find (at least on the first day).
The Atmosphere of the hotel is on point.
Layout of the room. I didn't like having the toilet right at the sleeping area.
The hotel is a high rise building curiously located on an industrial park outside the city centre. Its most noticeable feature is its quietness which almost gives the impression of a monastery at times! Being the cheapskate that I am, I paid £80.00 for a room without a window but a cleverly designed plastic screen gave the impression of there being one. No complaints about breakfast with a wide range of food and drinks available. Very useful tip: if you are planning to visit Copenhagen at short notice and are perturbed by the hotel prices (expect £300.00 per night if not booked in advance), seriously consider staying in Lund or Malmo instead. There are plenty of good quality hotels and trains regularly make the short journey to Copenhagen.
A couple of minor disadvantages: 1. Only one bus- service 166 from the central station- goes directly to the hotel. It runs twice every hour so long waiting times, taxi fares or a fairly long walk may result, 2. The computers in the hotel urgently need an upgrade as many sites are inaccessible.
