The car was upgraded at no additional cost. It met all my expectations.

Cons:

Finding the rental office was difficult. Very poor sign posting for rental offices. The printed copy of my contract was not available due to computer glitch. In the end, I paid, what I had agreed upon, so it worked out OK

Guy who served us was very bad, worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. Was obsessed with getting me to pay for protection insurance. Cancelled follow up rental and went with Europcar instead. Will never use Sixt again.

When we arrived to pick up the car arranged for by Kayak the size of the car available at the lot was inadequate to economy as booked with kayak (we were offered minuscule Fiat Panda instead of reserved Peugeot 308 or equal). No other cars were available in the economy size on the lot. I was left to upgrade to a "40 euro/day" to DS3 compact SUV. The 40/day charge turned out to be 22.16 + 33.33 (stated as customer requested upgrade) + 20% tax. My final bill was 385.63 vs 185.65. The car was great with great mileage and features. The Fiat Panda would be unsafe and inapropriate for the mileage and speed we needed to be driving at. The transaction leaves me not overly impressed by KAYAK's coordination and guarantees of price and quality. I’m disappointed. I thought that I was booking through you guys but then it rerouted me to qeeq.com and the car rental was rent scape. They made me give deposit of €1300 and when I got the car it was completely scratched and dented and chips in the glass as well. I realized right away that this is going to be a scam. Blame me for the scratches and then keep my deposit, so I cancelled the rental agreement and didn’t take the car. I did a review on Rentscape and it confirmed what I was worried about. 1 Star and people are saying that they charged them for fuel even though they gave it back filled up. They also blame you for making scratches and keep your deposit. Why I m frustrated is that I had to run around and fight to get my deposit and my money back for the rental.

Car was decent, a little old but not bad. They were friendly and helpful and picked me up at the airport right away when I called. They did not send me the vehicle inspection and contract like they said they would when I picked up the car however when I dropped it off the guy was very helpful and sent it then. We did the car walk through together and had no issues.

Very poor experience. The petrol was only filled 50% despite booking a full tank. The oil light came on twice and we have to return to the airport where we rented it from. The windscreen was cracked. There was no indication as to where we needed to drop the car and it took us over an hour to find the right place.

Amazing as usual, not having a counter is so great. No one is trying to sell you anything, you get the car you booked, and there is no time pressure for being late, as the counter is not going to close because it doesn't exist.

They are not COVID SAFE - they gave me an used dirty car without cleaning! The whole pickup drop off is a nightmare. They are unscrupulous and try and charge you for damage that has nothing to do with you! Will never rent from them again
