Did not feel safe.

I guess the location.

I guess we got what we bargained for. It was one of the cheapest places I could book. Door safety latch was not connected to the door frame, so we asked to be moved. Safety latch was in tact on the next room, but anyone could have kicked the door in as the door frame was flimsy to say the least. Room smelled of smoke. Killed several spiders and small roatches. Cigarette burn holes in the comforter.

It was the cheapest place we could find in the Madison area. It wasn't visibly dirty and it was close to the airport and downtown. The AC worked fine and it was pretty quiet.

The room smelled very musty/moldy, even after trying to air it out with both window and AC. My friend's room smelled of smoke. The mattresses were old and bumpy, and the wireless only barely worked.

This is supposed to be a "non-smoking" hotel. Not only did the room smell saturated in cigarette smoke, there were cigarette burn holes in the sheets. Several of our neighbors were smoking in and outside of their rooms as well as partying outside their rooms all night. This would be fine if we had paid booked a room for smokers and had no other choice. However, we specifically booked a "non-smokers" room. The next morning, confused, I asked the hotel receptionist if their were any "non-smoker" rooms available because I thought I had made a mistake. She informed me the entire hotel prohibited smoking in the rooms by law. You could've fooled me. I guess you get what you pay for. Shame on me. Next time, I'll pay an extra couple bucks to book a hotel where people have a little class.

Facilities poorly maintained, cobwebs in room, bathroom dirty and visibly worn and shabby, carpet heavily worn, hairs in bed, air vent grate broken, a/c unit cover partially detached and hanging off, visible damage to walls and doors, doors and hinges rusted, other guests played loud music and had a barbecue in the parking lot outside my room door, room had wet/damp odor, guests smoking near room doors in walkways, so there was no way to avoid the second-hand smoke. Don't be lured by the price. The aggravation and discomfort will cost you more emotionally than the money you think you are saving.

definitely needs better housekeeping for rooms to

- bed wasn't too bad for comfort - rather quiet area for many people staying close by our room - close to a lot right off the interstate - outside of hotel is not bad looking at all

- room had the worst smell of smoke!!! my allergies were horrible all night and the next day. - I would say this could be an adult only place, since it seemed they had females barely of age staying in a room that I overheard talking about using that room for sex with people they did not know. - I would say they should either drop the rates to stay here, or use that money they have been collecting to update the rooms and get the awful smell that is making people sick. - checking out should be a much quicker process. maybe have 2 people working at the busier hours? (close to checking in and out times)
