Pros: Spectacular location on the beach. Food is great and staff very friendly. The bar area and viewing point were nice.
Cons: Waiters weren't wearing shoes. Showers should have doors. Coffee in the room was instant
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The sea view Hotel decoration The suite decoration The swimming pool temperature and design The breakfast on the terrace below the tree The food at lunch time and diner GM welcome and kindness during the stay Staff kindness The sunset on toof top with a Mojito The palm trees and flowers The proximity of the kite school JC Kite House
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The resort has its own access to the beach (and i would say the best access given what i’ve seen) and 2 swimming pools in a beautiful and perfectly clean garden. The suites are big, confortable and modern. The cuisine is really good so it is complicated to find better in the city. The staff is very kind and gentle. They always make their best to make your stay unforgettable.
Cons: There is nothing to say here.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Staff Members are kind, friendly and very helpful.. Very clean and spacious room.. Wonderful place for relaxation..
Cons: The shower floor looks dirty and ugly, it could be improved to match with the bathroom floor...
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The localisation and food were amazing. Rooms are very big there is a lot of space and bed are very confortable pastas and ice cream are delicious. The staff was very dedicated and polite.
Cons: Rooms are little bit hold fashon = curtains were pink and grey with flowers which is not very chic considering the localisation i would expect more african design or just more sober.... House wine not very good
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing place, the rooms, the pool, the food, the people and the beach. Everything is just perfect.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Quiet, clean, friendly and very helpful staff
Excellent 9.6
Pros: very nice place; beautiful beach - great for kitesurfing; the hotel is very clean and comfortable; friendly stuff; good food
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Our whole stay at Kobe was just delightful. Our room was incredible and exceeded all expectations! The staff are all wonderful and very attentive. We can't wait to come back! Thank you so much to everyone at Kobe who made our stay so fantastic!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Clean white sandy beach, 2 swimming pools, tasty meals, spacious suites ... everything was just detailed
Cons: Nothing !
Excellent 10.0
Pros: All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and attentive. The food was also great and I can especially recommend the passionfruit caprioshka. Pool and public areas were immaculate. And the cost including breakfast was a great value.
Cons: This is not specific to Kobe but if you’re a person who absolutely must lay on the beach this is not allowed because it is protected. Also it’s full of “beach boys” who try to sell you stuff and can be agressive. But Kobe has a beachy area a bit of then ways back with a nice view and cypress trees where you can enjoy the sun - and also 2 saltwater pools. And you can also swim in the ocean as well.

Pros: Wonderful and helpful staff!
Excellent 9.2
Cons: A proper beach for swimming And sea activities
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful location, very comfortable and elegantly furnished rooms and common areas, exceptional staff.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Leopard Point! The villas are beautiful and well equipped to ensure your comfort and relaxation. The staff are all great and very helpful.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The property was very tidy. The food was very good. The staff (Hussein and Sikubali) were amazing, they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. After 6 days it felt like leaving a second home. We also got a free upgrade and had an entire villa to ourselves. Overall a very good experience and will definitely be going back.
Cons: Honestly, nothing. It’s perfect for people looking for privacy and relaxation
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The manager Kathia. She was very welcoming and helpful.
Cons: The AC in my room was leaking water. I reported it to the lady at the reception who promised they will work on it.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The quality of services The professional and loving staff members The architect and decor and location
Cons: The place is exceptional with a topnotch decor and a 5 star score. The staff are amazing, such lovely and professional personnel. I had severe allergies and the hotel did everything to feed me on all levels. So grateful to the dedicated chef who went his way to serve me great food. Sikubali is a kind and bubbly chap who always brings out a smile on the guests faces. The managers Hussein and Roberto are customer oriented and so is the office staff, the maintenance guys and the housekeeping staffs. I had a fantastic holiday thanks to the staff, the ambiance, the location and the quality of services provided. I highly recommend the hotel and I also look forward to staying with you again.. Regards Beatrice
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Our stay at Leopard Point can only be faulted by the fact that it was too short - and that’s on us. For that reason we intend to come back and stay longer. I particularly want to extend my sincere thanks t to the staff at Leopard Point, specifically Hussein, Sandra, Sikubali and Roberto who were extremely helpful and ensured we had the friendliest service and most comfortable time at this gorgeous ocean-front resort. I highly recommend lunch or dinner by the stone terrace overlooking the ocean, coupled with a glass or two of Prosecco.
Cons: N/A
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location is beautiful. Beach front luxuriously done using environmentally friendly materials to create an authentic Kenyan experience. Concept villas designed by the owner each accompanied with personal swimming pools. Some overlooking the ocean.
Cons: That I didn’t know how nice the property was before I got there.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Loved the clean rooms, private pool and the staffs hospitality.
Cons: Our stay was too short

Pros: BREAKFAST -EGG BENEDICT !
Cons: THE SEA .
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great pool for children in the new area
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The all inclusive package was brilliant! Animation team was also on point
Cons: On arrival we paid the amount displayed on booking.com, and no complain was made as we were given a receipt as well. On the day of check out we were asked to pay extra because the dollar rate had gone up, this was a negative display because there was no prior notification. On top of that, you are not alerted when your package is over during the last day but you are just served with a cheque later during check out. Maybe just improve on communication.
Good 7.4
Pros: I really enjoyed our stay. However, having also visited resort south ( Diani), I found the beach left a lot to be desired. The resort is a good place to stay if your are interested in just the resort and doing nothing else. If you want to spend more time on the beach or I. The ocean, I would go somewhere else.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Awesome breakfast with fantastic restaurant staff, always available to serve . Spacious modern rooms with classic swahili furniture. Bathroom was spacious Well equipped with modern facilities Excellent room service Quiet place Option to sample hotel next door meals giving a warm neighbourhood feel Value for money Location, near Malindi airport
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Breakfast was perfect.Very very delicious Rooms very clean and out of this world.Perfect,Very Comfortable
Cons: Should have more facilities and games for children more entertainment
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Great staff especially those in the kitchen/dining area. Amazing accommodation facilities, great swimming pool and stunning views.
Cons: The All inclusive package had only a few local 'male' beers on the alcoholic menu. No pro-female beers or alcohol in this package.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were very friendly and went the extra mile to make sure i felt at home
Cons: the wifi in my room was not working but it was working in the open areas
Good 6.3
Pros: Friendly staff, good food.
Cons: Beach not ideal, generally property quite old.
Good 7.1
Cons: we were served dinner yesterday with maggots in the vegetables. verrr disgusted
Good 6.3
Pros: The staff were absolutely amazing! Now I am generally poor with names but I came out of Dreams of Africa with a list of names to remember. Chef Ali, Doctor, Maryanne, Denice, Constance, Raphael, Yvonne. They were the stand outs for me. It was nice talking to them and getting to know their stories. They may be the sole reason why I would go back to Dreams of Africa.
Cons: There's too much confusion at the hotel. The reception gives you half info, doesn't communicate to the house keeping staff (our welcome basket was removed even before we had settled down!). The Jacuzzi in our room didn't work and by the time we left, hadn't been repaired. The WiFi was down till the last day of our stay. The hotel itself needs care, termites are eating away at the wooden barriers in the restaurant, the faucets are old and chipped. To be honest, if it isn't for the waiting staff, I wouldn't go back to this place ever again. It wasn't a relaxing experience for me.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location and view of the beach and ocean
Cons: N/A
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The rooms are big, well maintained & very clean. Staff are very friendly & helpful. The hotel is beachfront so the view over looking the ocean is breathtaking.
Cons: More options in the breakfast spread.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff are very friendly and understanding. Hassan at the restaurant was excellent, joyful and more than ready to assist. The beach is amazing. The Swahili architecture, the pools, and the spa were amazing. Would love to be hosted there again.
Cons: The safe box in the rooms were small. It would be nice to have bigger ones. The signage to the spa and the restaurant can be put up at a place where a guest can easily see them.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was perfect, the room with a pool view, the food, the beach, the bar, my surprise birthday cake and dance from the staff, the spa massage. The staff super nice.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Everything was up to standard. I had a great stay there and would definitely go back.
Cons: The staff are friendly always saying hello and always around to assist. Just need some improvement and training for the waiting staff.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The spacious room. Some of the staff like William.
Cons: I was kept waiting at the reception for confirmation of my booking. I also didn't like the fact that I was charged a lot of money for change of ny room to a seaview room. Moreso when most of the rooms were empty.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved this hotel. The grounds are gorgeous, leafy and green and right beside a beautiful beach. The rooms were large and spotless and there was a lovely seating area outside as well. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the food and service were excellent. There was a small pool next to our room which we had to ourselves, there is also a bigger pool next to the beach. There is a small private beach with very comfortable sun beds. I really have to compliment all of the staff (at reception, housekeeping, in the restaurant and at the beach), they were so friendly and helpful!
Cons: Nothing except having to leave!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Spa...the services are awesome and worthy every penny. The staff are very warm and courteous.
Cons: Black out for a whole day.
Excellent 10.0
Cons: Food offering needs to be improved. Menu weak, no coffee & tea in the room
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Rooms, location, staff
Cons: The food was really not good. There was very little choice and it took ages for the food to arrive

Excellent 8.3
Pros: Area was well designed, clean and beautiful, staff was heplful and friendly.
Cons: Bed was too tough and air conditioner didn't work sufficiently - temperature was too high although we put it on the lowest level.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very friendly and competent staff, extremely helpful yet never intrusive. James in F&B department was my favourite one..
Mediocre 3.3
Pros: The spa! The friendliness of the restaurant staff (apart from the chef). The pools. The A/C.
Cons: Overall this was quite a miserable experience. We arrived excited only for the guard to shout rudely at our external taxi driver as he didn't know where to park. On check-in, we were given quite a very room smelling disgustingly of urine and after some rude dismissals by the reception staff, I spoke with booking.com customer service, which managed to convince the managerial staff and we were given a better room. Thank you booking.com customer service, we were actually very ready to leave at the time. They said the room was foul-smelling because of a wedding party. (??) I had read lovely reviews of the chef on trip advisor, a large number of reviews saying he can make lovely food requested even with short notice so I thought not to bother him early in advance. When we arrived, we informed him we were vegan and very open to whatever he could make. He said there's a pasta station in every meal so we mostly had that for dinner every day. On only one afternoon he specifically came to ask us what we would like to eat and that was apparently only because there was another family he had been tending to that needed the same requirements for that mealtime. The next day he said 'oh thank god you aren't having lunch with us' and breathed a huge sigh of relief, after which he never asked us our plans nor our ideas for meals. Which we found rude considering he was doing so for all the other families. I really do not want to pull the racism card here but there is something really fishy going on with him. He was so so rude to us till the point where my mother didn't even want to come down for dinner (for what? just pasta for the umpteenth time? to look at the rude chef?) Chef Ayaz, please treat all your guests the same. Many towels have stains.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were absolutely amazing. Chef Ayaz and his team made sure that all our culinary expectations were exceeded. The Christmas and News Year's dinners were of the highest quality, variety and presentation. All the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and part of the family. The rooms were spacious and clean. Our kids loved spending their time in the rooms and especially the BIG beds. Pools were amazing - we spent all our time there. Management went out of their way with all guest to make them feel welcome and taken care of. A huge shout-out to Vincent the pool barman, he was a real gentleman and takes care of everyone.
Cons: Main pool is very deep - for families with young children. But the life guards were very attentive at all times. No fault of the hotel - but due to rainy season the river came down and the water was brown and full of seaweed - thus we could not swim in the sea. Spa treatments are not 5* but the prices made it worthwhile and it gives you some time just to relax away from the kids. Take note there are no televisions in the rooms. WiFi in the rooms and around the public areas was frustratingly bad - it needs an update urgently.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: All the staff were very welcoming. Rooms are sparkling clean .food is different every day with a different theme for all nationalities .the animation team is excellent keeps everyone entertained that's including the young and elderly generation. They also allowed us to stay past our checkout time for free because our flight was in the evening .overall the place is awesome .
Cons: Everything was super ❤❤❤
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The politeness and service of all staff. The food was delicious and the surroundings were beautiful. It was paradise. I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone.
Cons: A tv in my room.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Nice location right on the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good wifi in the common areas. A lot of activities throughout the day. The gym was well equipped.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Food was great throughout my stay. Staff very helpful and especially dietary staff. Everyone did an awesome job.
Cons: No television and iron and had to upgrade for Tv and ga never received an iron. Hope on my next stay you will upgrade all rooms with TVs and iron.
Good 6.7
Pros: On the beach which was lovely, and the dream pool was very nice. The gala dinner was very good and the staff were mostly very friendly, especially the senior staff.
Cons: The heckling and hassling from the public side of the beach was horrible; the main pool was very tired; some of the staff were over friendly; pool staff didn't seem to realise that the hotel was there for the benefit of the guests and not the staff!! Food when the hotel wasn't full was grim. After the first night I asked for a softer mattress as I woke up with very sore back and neck, and was told I would get one, but it never showed. Finally, it seemed that bar staff spent more time OUT of their bars collecting things than serving drinks in the bars. Nit picking by a former hotel owner....
Okay 5.4
Pros: Staff + food were nice
Cons: Room was very unclean and had an awful smell of wetsuits. Had mould all over the mirror and shower head was dirty

Pros: They could add more variety to breakfast, but what they provided was delicious! However I must say the old lady running the place is such a darling! She makes sure guests are comfortable throughout!
Cons: We liked EVERYTHING
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The lodge is located in front of the beach, you can hear the sounds of the ocean from any spot. Amazing. The food was good and the staff was incredible.
Cons: I think working on the toilets and the room furniture could give help refreshing the look of them. The lodge is very cool as it is, but some beutification works would hurt.
Good 7.5
Pros: Beautiful property with palm trees saying in the breeze, a nice pool, good food, nice lounge area, sweet little thatched roof bungalows. Very chilled, quiet, low key, no loud music. Right on the beach, although a high retainer wall elevates you above and away from it. The spa is quite nice with a lovely attendant, though it is quite expensive. A free tuk-tuk tour around Malindi is also available with an excellent guide.
Cons: Some consideration for comfort must be made. The mattresses and pillows are hard as a rock and have thrown my back out. The beach lounge chairs do not adjust upright, so you’re forced to lie down the entire time. On the weekends, they reserve all lounge chairs by the pool (by putting towels on the lounge chairs and yelling you they’re reserved) for non-resident visitors. Absolutely unacceptable to prioritize non-resident visitors over residents. To no fault of the Club, note the windy seasons on the Kenyan coast. It was full gale wind the entire time, leaving you sand swept with your book ripped from your hands. Very unpleasant time of year for lounging/swimming, unless you’re into kite boarding. The tide is quite noticeable here, very low about 50m out, then right up to the retaining wall. Lots of seaweed. The beach boys all along the coast are also harassing to the full extent possible. They even poke their heads over the retaining walls to harass you while you’re trying to relax. More security could be provided by the Club. Also note there’s no TV in the room, or wifi outside the lobby/lounge area, but this is quite nice to get a break from the outside world.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beach ! Reception desk ! Massage! Quiet!
Cons: Noisy obnoxious American couple!!
Good 7.1
Pros: The rooms have a lovely view overlooking the sea. Good pool

Pros: Staff was exceptionally friendly, activities at the hotel for all ages (sports, games and dances), relaxed pool area and atmosphere, food isn't too pricy, rooms are very quiet and sufficiently equipped.
Cons: Breakfast (and also dinner) buffet needs more variety. For example cold cuts and orange juice. Location is perfect for relaxation, but far away from almost everything.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Ambience, quiet and calm environment.
Cons: No much variety in the food offered.
Good 7.5
Pros: Service was good Room was good Kids activity led by Sharon
Cons: I suggest they have mosquito repellent in the rooms. Mat at the door where you can leave the shoes as it's sandy. Variety of food ( pastries) Curtains should blackout light( too much light at night) Have music playing during dinner If you have fewer guests you can for standard a la carte to cut cost.
Good 7.5
Pros: Location and service ate excellent.
Cons: They need to change their mattresses, they are not good at all. Wasn't good sleep
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Location, serenity, food, service right from the reception.
Cons: Nothing
Good 7.5
Pros: The service from Aisha, Betty , Zero and Clinton. Jack in charge of bookings was spot on Shombo who did our late check in and out was very friendly The excursion manager was also very helpful with lots of tips
Cons: Mosquitoes Pastry selection needs to be improved
Okay 4.6
Pros: The ambience and the staff.
Cons: Most of the pictures up here were just not there. E.g the massage by the beach picture, there is no beach! There is a little piece of land beside the water and that's it!
Okay 5.0
Pros: Very nice location, right on the water and slightly out of the busy areas. Great diving facility with fantastic staff.
Cons: Few staff members were friendly within the hotel, which is rather strange for Watamu, or Kenya in general. We got along very well with one of the barkeepers, who suggested us what to see, where to go and introduced us to the local lifestyle. Unfortunately, we found out that he was fired the next day for engaging with hotel customers as this was not one of his responsibilities. We were rather shocked and did not understand how the hotel could terminate an employee that did his job, was very genuine and followed our requests making our stay in Watamu unique. You just got rid of your best employee.
Good 7.9
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Less food variety I think due to low customer booked but staff were friendly

Cons: The reception was dismal, No bathroom slippers in the rooms, the room was rather dusty, the fruits at breakfast could be improved to something sweeter.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The bed was extra Comfortable,Hot shower was available plus the dancers after dinner was authentic.I loved the place.
Cons: The beach was a bit of a distance from the villa but luckily the hotel provided free transport to and from the beach, which was a private beach. That was a smart way to go about it
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Food at the beach bar or in the villas is delicious, big rooms, very comfortable sunbeds on the beautiful private beach, tuk tuk ready to take you anywere, the staff are good friends you just met especially Daniel, fast wifi, soft beds and Stella the owner can help you for anything you might need.
Cons: Had only 2 stays.
Good 6.7
Pros: Breakfast..Average. Location..Poor. Off Tarmac ..and 3Kms from their Beach. It's a lonely place.
Cons: Room Facilities Face Lift. A Cleaner Pool. Variety in B/Fast.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The WiFi connection is great. The rooms are extremely clean and the personalized meal plans are prepared fast and in the exact way ordered. Toiletries are provided and towels are in plenty. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Most importantly, the management takes cognizance of and celebrates special occasions with guests in a great way. The villas offer a lot of privacy too. The beach is beautiful and the restaurant is perfectly located.
Excellent 10.0

Good 7.5
Pros: Breakfast awesome, fish was great, attendants were courteous......great hospitality
Cons: No television, diversity on food items was missing
Excellent 9.2
Pros: My brother and I enjoyed the peace and quiet the resort provided. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms were kept clean not to mention how spacious it was especially at the lounge area outside each room, it offered privacy for each guest. Loved the evening performance from the local talents. The fan and AC helped in maintaining comfort in the rooms as malindi gets quite hot.
Cons: The evening buffet was underwhelming as it lacked variety, the food available was however delicious. The kitchen needs to be a bit more organized though, on two occasions we went to have our meal and found some menu items depleted, which meant they didn't account for all guests or under budgeted for it.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The quiet, relaxing conducive environment.
Cons: wifi access in the rooms
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Clean and private.

Good 7.9

Okay 5.0
Pros: The location is very good
Cons: Food was very expensive and was not good
Good 7.5
Pros: Beautiful pools and sea views from the pool. Pleasant beach staff.
Cons: The staff at the reception is very helpful only if you are Italian. Poor breakfast.
Good 6.3
Pros: nice location with a nice pool. the room is very spacious which is nice. and you have a nice balcony. the staff is kind.
Cons: bed sheets had spots on them. the towels smelt horrible and when the cleaning came they did not change them. and the breakfast is was boring. i need to add that i visited at the low season, it is possible that during the busy period that there are more facilities/activities available, better and more food options etc. low season is a difficult time for the hotel.
Mediocre 3.8
Pros: Just the swimming pools
Cons: There was no electric on the 28 August and there generator was also broken. Unable to charge the phone. Dinning area dirty and I did not like the good
Okay 5.1
Pros: Reception staff, cleaning staff, views, beach access.
Cons: Roaches in room!, old mattress with no pad and thin sheet (which effectively means that you're sleeping with everyone who stayed before you), restaurant food quality mediocre but at 20 euros for dinner-overpriced for quality, restaurant and entertainment staff are constantly in your face and disingenuously so. This is a two-and a half star (tourist class) hotel by international and Kenyan standards.
Good 6.7
Pros: Location is amazing. Near to everything walking.
Cons: Definitely needs more maintenance. The swimming pool at the reception was not clean. Average food. No parking.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The croissant were extra flaky, and the bed was very comfy.
Cons: The closets could have locks
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Location was perfect Nice breakfast Friendly staff
Cons: Old bedding that were not freshly cleaned
Mediocre 3.8
Cons: The staff are a bit aloof to local residents and even gossip about them within hearing range! Too many mosquitos in the room no access to communication from the rooms. Food is okay but general ambience is a bit drab and boring... No facility for parking.
Good 6.7
Pros: Very friendly staff, beautiful resort, nice swimming pool. Beautiful view of the beach with easy access. Restaurant served good food, breakfast buffet well stocked.
Cons: The owner was loud and was acting a bit like a fool (he assumed we were russian and started playing to the stereotypes, which is very annoying and sometimes insulting). Treated the place like his livingroom and the staff as personel servants at breakfast. Also noteworthy is the fact the the resort is like little Italy, most of the times it's fine, but if you're not Italian the loudness can be of some annoyance. Our first room had a leaky boiler, that had appararantly been leaking for a while (by the smell of the mold and the wear and tear of the mirror). There idea of fixing the issue was putting a towel on the bathroom counter, which was completely soaked upon our arrival, along with half the bathroom floor. We got another room on request, which, apart from a missing toilet-seat, which was fixed quickly, was perfect. At check-in at midnight we spent 45 mins arguing with the night-manager about retaining our passports. He insisted on keeping the passports during the night so registration could be completed in the early morning. 1. It's illegal of a hotel clerk to hold on to your passport; it's officially government propertiy and your responsibility 2. As i found out later the passports of other guests were not securely stored 3. We had to settle with him making a photo-copy of our passports, which he technically also had no right of doing We have discussed this issue with other senior staff and the have promised to change this policy. That said, they also promised to fix our initial room (instead they just shoved another guest in). We asked for transportation from the airport. The hotel offered to charter a taxi for us...at an offered price of 100 USD, which is a ludicrous price in any country!
Okay 5.8
Cons: The treatment by men staff was very harsh and unpolite. Breakfast was very much disappointing with powder juice, a few pieces of fruit, no cereals...
