A spa and pool was for "client use only" but only after paying ten euro per person! If the hotel advertises that it has a pool etc it should have said there was an additional charge. The beds were in very poor condition-springs coming up through the mattresses in both rooms we booked. Impossible to sleep all night.
was asked to pay more for the room then I booked it for and receptionist was very rude when I told him of the price I booked online, also asked for wake up call and never got one
The distance from the airport
The staff attitude was very poor, breakfast was very limited and there is nowhere without driving to eat near the hotel.
For the price, it was ok, but I would pay a little more next time and rather stay in a nicer and more comfortable place. It is very handy to airport (if you have transport).
Rooms are tiny (or at least mine was, I did see larger rooms, maybe doubles), and shower is so small it was only 2cm wider than my shoulders (I'm a tall guy), but there was no way that I could put soap on my body without opening the shower door. You had to step over the toilet to sit on it, that's how small the bathroom is. And you have to step over the bed to get out of the room once your suitcase is open. The mattress was very worn/lumpy.
Clean bathroom and room + nice pool
Hotel is situated 20 min from Centre of rome( termini station) howewer trains runs every hour or two so you will spend lots of time waiting for the train. Area close to the station Santa Marie della morie( close to the hotel) smells. Its got sth to do with canalization. Hotel was nice and clean, hard to communicate with receptionists as they dont speak english. Worst thing was breakfast, very poor. Just: bread, crossaint (not even fresh), butter, jam, ham, cheese, corn flakes+ chocalate cereal (only with cold milk), pineapple juice, coffe maker (water wasnt even hot in the machine) and yoghurt.
The hotel staff is very welcoming, the surrounding area is very quiet. You can reach the center of Rome in half an hour by train (ticket is 1.30 euro and trains are coming every one hour). Clean rooms, the breakfast is more than enough and very good (prociutto crudo, cheese, croissants, tea, coffee, hot dogs, juice, cereals and milk, butter, jam and others)
the reception area was very nice, the breakfasts were better than another hotel i stayed in close by. the shower was the best ive had before.
the walls seemed thin and noise traved from other rooms
WI-FI works exellent
Shower box is really too tiny
It was fair value for money
The hotel quoted me Euro's 50 for an organised limo transfer to the FCO airport but when we got to the airport the driver insisted on Euro's 60 which I reluctantly paid. It seems that a quote is not always a quote and extra is added just because one is a foreigner, a little dissapointing when one is on a limited budget. Next time in Rome I will stay in hotels that are on the bus or train routes so you know what extra costs are involved in airport transfers
